Software Engineer

Oneiro SolutionsCity Of Edinburgh, Scotland, UK

The Role As a Senior Product Engineer at Oneiro, you will sit at the intersection of product, engineering, and customer delivery. You will design, build, and ship high-quality features, workflows, and integrations that help financial institutions operate on DLX with confidence. This is a senior individual contributor role for an engineer who can take meaningful ownership of product work from discovery through design, implementation, launch, and production follow-up. You will work closely with Product, Design, Engineering, and client-facing teams to understand real customer problems, translate them into pragmatic technical solutions, and deliver software that is reliable, maintainable, and valuable. You will not be expected to operate at Staff Engineer scope, setting company-wide technical strategy or owning multiple domains. However, you will be expected to act as an anchor for project delivery: identifying risks early, improving the systems you work in, mentoring less experienced engineers, and raising the quality bar within your team. What You’ll Do Own product work end to end Take meaningful features, workflows, and integrations from problem definition through design, implementation, release, and production follow-up. Build high-quality software Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code across the stack, with strong attention to reliability, performance, security, and financial correctness. Turn ambiguity into delivery Break complex or unclear problems into clear technical plans, identify risks early, and keep projects moving without unnecessary process. Work closely with Product, Engineering, and customers Understand real user needs, challenge assumptions constructively, and translate business problems into pragmatic technical solutions. Develop deep domain expertise Become fluent in syndicated lending, loan administration, and the workflows DLX supports, using that knowledge to build better products. Raise the engineering bar Contribute thoughtful design discussions and code reviews, improve the systems you touch, and mentor junior and mid-level engineers. Improve how the team works Spot repeated friction in tooling, documentation, testing, or delivery, and help make the team faster and more effective. Requirements We would expect you to have: A degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, another STEM field, or equivalent practical experience. 5+ years of professional software development experience. Strong experience building and operating production software systems. Strong expertise in TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, Java, or similar production languages. Practical experience using AI development tools to improve engineering productivity, code quality, testing, debugging, documentation, or delivery speed. Experience owning features or workstreams end to end, from requirements through deployment and support. Ability to write clean, maintainable, well-tested code. Good understanding of system design, data flows, API design, reliability, performance, and security. Experience with cloud-native architectures, distributed systems, APIs, integrations, or workflow-driven systems. Experience with automated testing, including unit, integration, or end-to-end testing. Strong communication skills with engineers, product managers, business stakeholders, and customers. Comfort operating in a fast-moving startup environment where priorities can change and ambiguity is part of the job. A product-minded approach and a desire to build deep domain expertise. Experience in fintech, banking, corporate lending, capital markets, payments, or another complex regulated domain is highly valuable, but not required. Nice to Have Experience building software for financial institutions or regulated environments. Familiarity with corporate banking, syndicated loans, loan servicing, or financial operations. Experience integrating with third-party systems, APIs, or enterprise platforms. Experience working in SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, or similarly controlled environments. Previous startup or scale-up experience. Experience mentoring junior or mid-level engineers. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Oneiro is committed to promoting a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion. We are also committed to making our application process accessible to everyone. Please let us know how we can support you during the hiring process.

Business Analyst

Network PlusAlfreton, England, UKonsite

From $45,000/yr

Department: IT Location: Alfreton Compensation: £45,000 - £55,000 / year Description The Business Analyst is a trusted partner to senior leadership, aligned to a specific area of the business and embedded within it. Working side by side with the Managing Director and Commercial Director day to day, their core purpose is to understand how the area really works and to find and unlock opportunities across people, process and systems. This is a business improvement role at heart, with a remit that reaches well beyond IT. Many of the biggest opportunities lie in the way work is organised and carried out day to day, how teams are structured, how processes flow, and how effort is spent and often have little to do with technology. The Business Analyst is there to spot those opportunities, make the case for change, and help deliver measurable benefits. Where an opportunity does call for technology, the Business Analyst is also the route into IT, capturing and shaping the requirement and taking it to the relevant Product Owner and delivery team, so nothing is lost between the business and delivery. The role sits within the business area and works to its leadership, while keeping a close, joined-up link with IT and Product Owners. The Business Analyst also works directly with clients to support the delivery of our contracts and helps coordinate and manage work with third-party suppliers and partners. It calls for someone as comfortable in a boardroom conversation about commercial strategy as they are mapping a process or shaping a requirement. Key Responsibilities Partnering with Leadership \& Clients * Work side by side with the Managing Director and Commercial Director day to day, as part of their team and a dependable point of contact for improvement and change. * Translate strategic and commercial objectives into practical, deliverable pieces of work. * Work directly with clients to support the delivery of our contracts, understanding their requirements and representing their needs within the business. * Build strong, trusted relationships at every level — from front-line operational teams to executive leadership, and externally with clients and contract partners. * Facilitate workshops, interviews, and working sessions to draw out needs, resolve conflicting priorities, and build consensus. * Communicate clearly and confidently, tailoring the message to the audience — from detailed working documents to concise executive summaries. Identifying Opportunity across People, Process \& Systems * Take time to understand how the area operates end to end, building a clear picture of where value is created and where it is lost. * Proactively identify opportunities to improve, looking through three lenses: * People - how teams are organised; where capability, capacity, roles, or ways of working could be strengthened; and where effort is duplicated or misdirected. * Process - where processes are inefficient, inconsistent, manual, or carry unnecessary risk, and how they could be simplified or redesigned. * Systems - where better use of existing systems and data, or new technology, could remove friction, save time, or unlock growth. * Build the case for change - quantifying the benefit, the effort, and the priority so leadership can make informed decisions. * Recognise that many of the best opportunities are non-technical, and pursue improvement wherever the value lies, not only where a system is involved. Business Process Improvement * Analyse current (“as-is”) processes to identify inefficiencies, risks, gaps, and opportunities for improvement. * Design and document improved (“to-be”) ways of working that deliver measurable benefit. * Produce clear process maps, procedures, and supporting documentation. * Support the implementation of process changes, ensuring they are understood, adopted, and embedded across the business. * Track and measure the impact of process changes against agreed outcomes. Requirements \& the Route into IT * When a business need calls for technology, act as the route into IT and systems delivery — the first point of contact for capturing what the area needs. * Elicit, analyse, challenge, and prioritise requirements from stakeholders across multiple functions. * Distinguish clearly between business needs, user requirements, and solution constraints * Translate requirements into clear, well-formed inputs for Product Owners, maintaining traceability from business objective through to delivered outcome, so nothing is lost between the business and delivery teams. Managing Work with Third Parties * Help coordinate and manage work with third-party suppliers, vendors, and contract partners. * Ensure external work is clearly scoped, aligned to business priorities, and delivering the intended value. * Act as a joined-up point of contact between the business, IT, and third parties, keeping activity visible and on track. System Rollouts \& Business Change * Support the rollout and implementation of new systems and solutions across the organisation. * Assess the impact of change on people, processes, and ways of working. * Develop and support change and adoption activity, including communications, training material, and readiness assessments. * Help teams transition smoothly through change, managing resistance and building buy-in. * Ensure the business is prepared, supported, and confident ahead of any go-live. User Acceptance Testing (UAT) * Plan, coordinate, and support UAT for new and changed systems. * Develop test scenarios and acceptance criteria based on documented requirements. * Work with business users to execute testing and validate that solutions meet the agreed need. * Ensure sign-off criteria are clear, met, and evidenced before go-live. Defect \& Issue Management * Log, triage, and prioritise defects raised during testing and after implementation. * Investigate issues, gather supporting detail, and clearly articulate the impact to delivery teams. * Manage defects through to resolution, tracking status and keeping stakeholders informed. * Distinguish between defects, change requests, and user error, routing each appropriately. Governance, Documentation \& Reporting * Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation across opportunities, processes, requirements, and change activity. * Provide clear, timely progress updates and reporting to leadership. * Support the prioritisation of work in line with commercial, operational, and contractual priorities. * Ensure work is delivered in line with relevant governance, standards, and controls. Key Relationships * Internal - Managing Director and Commercial Director (day-to-day leadership); operational and commercial teams; IT Product Owners and delivery teams; business change and support functions. * External - Clients and contract partners; third-party suppliers and system vendors. Scope \& Dimensions * Aligned to a specific area of the business, operating across its functions and contracts. * Works independently, managing own workload and competing priorities. * Influences without direct authority, relying on credibility, communication, and stakeholder management. * Contributes directly to the performance, efficiency, and improvement of the area and its contracts. Skills, Knowledge \& Expertise Essential * Proven experience in a Business Analyst role, ideally within an operational or commercially driven environment. * A track record of identifying and delivering improvement across people, process and systems - not solely technology change. * Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence and credibility to work directly with senior leadership and with clients. * Experience working directly with clients to support the delivery of contracts. * Strong process analysis and mapping capability (as-is / to-be). * Excellent requirements gathering, elicitation, and documentation skills. * Experience supporting business change, system rollouts, and adoption activity. * Experience planning and supporting user acceptance testing. * Experience managing defects and issues through to resolution. * Experience coordinating or managing work with third-party suppliers or partners. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate between business and technical audiences. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail. * Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-moving environment. Desirable * Experience delivering measurable process improvement and efficiency benefits. * Experience working alongside Product Owners and Agile delivery teams. * Experience in a relevant sector (e.g. utilities, infrastructure, construction, services). * Familiarity with business analysis and change frameworks and methodologies. * Experience with tooling such as process mapping software, requirements/backlog tools, and reporting/BI tools. Qualifications * A Level 4 Business Analyst qualification, or equivalent, is required for this role. * Individuals in existing roles who do not yet hold this qualification will be supported by Network Plus to complete it. Personal Attributes \& Behaviours * Commercially aware - understands the wider business context and the drivers behind change. * Curious - asks the right questions to get beneath the surface of a problem and spot opportunity. * Credible and confident - able to hold their own with senior stakeholders and challenge constructively. * Pragmatic - balances the ideal solution with what is deliverable and beneficial. * Collaborative - builds strong working relationships and brings people with them. * Organised - manages competing priorities calmly and delivers to commitments. * Adaptable - comfortable with ambiguity and changing priorities. What Success Looks Like * Leadership sees the Business Analyst as a trusted, go-to partner for improvement and change. * Opportunities across people, process and systems are identified, quantified, and turned into measurable benefit. * Business and client needs are captured clearly and translated cleanly into delivery, with minimal loss or rework. * Process changes and system rollouts land smoothly, with strong adoption and measurable benefit. * New systems are tested thoroughly, and defects are managed proactively and transparently. * Work with third parties is well coordinated and delivers value. * Leadership and clients have clear visibility of activity, progress, and outcomes. Job Benefits We offer a competitive salary based on experience along with a full benefits package. This role will also come with a car allowance. Business Operations Coordinator

Era4London, England, UKonsite

Era4 develops, owns and operates AI infrastructure across the UK, powered by renewable energy. Converting legacy industrial and energy sites into modern data-centre facilities, Era4 is combining brownfield regeneration opportunities with cleaner, efficient, scalable compute capacity for healthcare, research, finance, enterprise, and public-sector organisations Role Summary You'll be the operational backbone of a Business Operations function we're actively building, one that exists to support the rest of the business. From day one, you'll own the processes and admin that keep it running smoothly, turning "how we do things" into clear, written policy people can actually follow. You'll work closely with the Business Operations Manager, learning fast and taking on real ownership as you find your feet. If you want breadth, variety, and the chance to shape process rather than just follow it, this role was built for you. Key Responsibilities * Act as a day-to-day point of contact for business operations admin and processes, making them easy for the wider business to navigate and continuously improving them as the function matures. * Draft, maintain, and version-control policies and process documentation on behalf of Business Operations, working with stakeholders across the business to make sure what's written reflects what actually happens. * Support the Business Operations Manager on delegated projects and initiatives, taking ownership of defined pieces of work end to end. * Help build the operational foundations of the function itself, trackers, templates, workflows, and standard ways of working other teams can rely on. * Spot manual, repetitive processes and build light automations (using tools such as Power Automate, Power Apps, or Zapier) to remove friction and reduce admin burden. * Maintain accurate, up-to-date records and trackers across the business operations remit, with an eye for detail and audit-readiness. * Support internal governance, compliance, and audit-readiness by maintaining evidence, records, and process documentation in an organised and accessible way. Essential Experience * Proven experience in a business operations, coordinator, or admin role. * Has owned a process or system, not just running tasks someone else designed. * Resourceful by default. You work things out before you ask, but you're sharp enough to know when a decision needs sign-off before you act, rather than a guess. * Comfortable adjusting how you communicate depending on who's in front of you; a senior leader, a supplier chasing payment, a colleague under pressure all need something different from you, and you know what. * You understand that admin work isn't busywork - it's the foundation the business runs on. You catch your own errors before they become someone else's problem, and you don't need to be told twice why something matters. * Basic comfort with workflow tools; Power Automate, Power Apps, Zapier, or similar. You don't need to be technical; we need to see that you naturally think in steps and logic when you hit a repetitive process, not that you're already an automation expert. One Or More Would Be An Advantage * Exposure to HR processes or documentation (onboarding, policy, employee lifecycle admin). * Experience in a start-up or scale-up, specifically through a period of headcount growth. * Has built a policy, handbook, or process from a blank page rather than inherited one already in place. Why Join Era4 You’ll be joining a mission-driven start-up building critical national infrastructure, where operational excellence directly enables growth. This role offers high visibility with leadership, real autonomy, and the chance to shape how a next-generation company operates at scale. Diversity \& Inclusion Era4 is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.

Our origins lie with Expert Webdesign, where we developed websites for all kinds of companies, including recreation entrepreneurs. We repeatedly encountered the same problem: the websites were far ahead of the market and competition, but lacked the ability to book a vacation directly through the website. Customers had to contact the reception desk by phone or switch to external booking platforms. We thought this could be done better and more easily. That's why we sat down with all kinds of parties, such as receptionists, park managers, technical services, cleaners, barrier operators, and management, to identify the bottlenecks from various perspectives. The result was the development of an innovative reservation system that integrates all the essentials for recreation companies. That's how Booking Experts came into being in 2011. Our booking platform has grown to become the go-to platform for holiday parks, campsites, and hotels in various countries. To meet growing demand, we established our marketing agency Booking Boosters in 2017. This enables us to help our customers increase their online sales and stimulate their growth. Through effective and performance-based marketing techniques, such as SEO, SEA, Affiliate Marketing, and Social Media, we help holiday parks grow and flourish!
