Your role What You'll Be Doing Senior Payments Analyst What We Need Corpay is currently looking to hire a Senior Payments Analyst within our Cross Border line of business. This position is part of our Cross Border Payment and Treasury Operations team and is located in London (Paddington), UK. You’ll be an integral part of the team from day one, responsible for ensuring you are managing tasks to a high standard whilst working closely with the rest of the team on day-to-day payments processing. Initially, the role will require you to learn a variety of processes relating to Payments and investigation management. You’ll be encouraged to identify operational issues, propose improvements, and drive solutions that enhance the end-to-end client experience. Collaboration is key - you’ll partner with Treasury Operations to ensure accurate funding and payment execution, and with Post-Onboarding Client Servicing to maintain smooth operational alignment. You will quickly develop to take on new challenges and initiatives, centred around maximising efficiencies and strengthening controls within the Settlements department. In addition, a Senior role will enable you to build strong team leadership skills, and you will hold responsibilities for communicating and working closely with key stakeholders and other teams across the business. This role reports to the Head of Operations and collaborates with a multitude of departments on various projects – including Operations, Finance, Compliance and beyond. How We Work As a Senior Payments Analyst, you will be expected to work in a hybrid office environment. Corpay will set you up for success by providing: * Assigned workspace in London, UK * Company-issued equipment * Formal, hands-on training and support from a wider Operations, Finance and Compliance team Role Responsibilities * Support the accurate and timely processing of all payment instructions, ensuring full adherence to client expectations, regulatory requirements, and internal control frameworks. * Build and maintain strong relationships with external counterparties, proactively managing queries and ensuring issues are resolved promptly and professionally. * Develop expertise across a wide range of payment workflows, ensuring robust understanding and ownership of end-to-end processes within the team. * Manage the execution of incoming and outgoing payments, ensuring reconciliation, controls, and approval processes are followed consistently. * Collaborate closely with internal teams and the Payments Team Lead to resolve complex queries, drive operational alignment, and support seamless client transaction execution. * Identify opportunities to enhance systems, processes, and controls, raising recommendations and contributing to solution design. * Support and drive initiatives focused on efficiency, automation, risk reduction, and service enhancement across the Settlements function. * Participate in cross-functional projects that advance broader business objectives and improve the client experience in relation to payment processing. * Provide guidance, coaching, and support to junior analysts, fostering a high-performance culture and continuous development within the team. Skills And Requirements * Proven experience in financial services with a Payments background (2- 3 years’ experience preferred) * Strong understanding of payment rails, including SEPA, SWIFT, CHAPS, and FPS. * Methodical and numerate, with strong attention to detail. * Excellent communication skills with ability to both support and influence internal and external stakeholders. * Collaborative team player with a proactive, can-do attitude. * Demonstrates initiative and a continuous improvement mindset. * Demonstrates flexibility and resilience, with the ability to embrace new challenges and perform effectively outside of familiar territory. In this role, you will be responsible for driving new customer acquisition for epyx, promoting and selling the 1link suite of fleet and SMR technology solutions. This role is focused on identifying, qualifying, and converting new business opportunities, from first engagement through to contract signature and successful onboarding. Experience selling into end-user fleet customers and engaging with a wide range of stakeholders. Excellent communication, influencing and presentation skills, confident delivering to all levels including senior leadership. Strong negotiation skills, commercial awareness, and ability to close deals. Comfortable working remotely and independently, managing your own activity levels and sales strategy.
