Business Development Manager – DeFi Lending Protocol Location: Remote (Global) Compensation: Competitive Base + Bonus + Token/Upside We are hiring on behalf of a client and are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth and capital formation for a leading DeFi lending protocol. This role will focus on expanding adoption of lending vaults through strategic distribution partnerships, integrations, and relationships across the DeFi ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have a strong network across crypto-native funds, DAOs, wealth platforms, market makers, institutional allocators, and DeFi protocols, with a proven track record of growing TVL and launching successful DeFi products. Key Responsibilities • Drive adoption and growth of lending vault products across the DeFi ecosystem. • Source, negotiate, and manage partnerships with distributors, aggregators, wallets, exchanges, and institutional platforms. • Build relationships with crypto funds, family offices, DAOs, treasury managers, and on-chain capital allocators. • Identify opportunities for integrations with lending, staking, yield, and structured product platforms. • Develop go-to-market strategies to increase TVL, user acquisition, and protocol utilization. • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and ecosystem gatherings. • Work closely with product and growth teams to launch new vaults and optimize distribution channels. • Track market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities across DeFi lending. Requirements • 3+ years of business development, partnerships, or capital formation experience within crypto, DeFi, or digital assets. • Strong understanding of lending protocols, vault strategies, yield generation, liquidity management, and on-chain markets. • Existing network across DeFi protocols, crypto funds, DAOs, market makers, and ecosystem partners. • Experience driving TVL growth and managing strategic partnerships. • Deep knowledge of protocols such as Morpho, Aave, Compound, Euler, Spark, Maker, or similar lending ecosystems. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. • Self-starter comfortable operating in a fast-paced, remote-first environment. Highly Desirable • Experience launching or scaling vault products on Morpho. • Relationships with wealth platforms, treasury managers, institutional allocators, and crypto-native investment firms. • Understanding of token incentives, liquidity programs, and DeFi growth strategies. • Active participation within the on-chain ecosystem and strong crypto-native credibility.
