Product Manager, Defi Integrations
From $32/yr
Shape the future of crypto tax with a product people actually need. Koinly is a successful product used by crypto investors around the world, helping them make sense of complex portfolios and tax obligations across chains, wallets, exchanges, and Defi protocols. As Product Manager for Blockchain and Defi Integrations, you’ll work at the frontier of crypto wallet and data ingestion. You’ll turn complex on-chain activity into clear, useful product improvements for Koinly users. The role involves analysing blockchains, protocols, transaction data, user behaviour, and market signals to identify where our integrations can be stronger, then working closely with engineering to define and ship the right improvements. You’ll help decide what we build next, balancing data quality, customer impact, growth, retention, and business value. You’ll bring strong blockchain and Defi knowledge, sharp analytical ability, and practical product judgement. We’re a fully remote-first, async-first startup with product-market fit in a niche (and booming) domain: crypto taxes. If you value autonomy, technical excellence, and clear communication over meetings and process complexity, Koinly is the place for you. Read on for responsibilities, requirements, and who we are. Role at a glance * Scope of role: + Blockchain and DeFi integration coverage. + On-chain data quality and correctness. + Integration-driven growth and retention. * Team: Product * Report to: Product Lead * Location: Ideally, you’re based in Europe or a Europe-friendly timezone. * Employment: B2B + 32 holidays per annum (incl. public holidays) + Co-working space budget if desired * Visa sponsership: No What you’ll be doing * Own integration coverage and data quality. You’ll identify where blockchain and Defi imports are missing, incomplete, or confusing, then define the expected behaviour and work with engineering to ship improvements that users can trust. * Turn user signals into product priorities You’ll prioritise Defi integrations using customer feedback, product insights, and business priorities to decide what we build next. You’ll make trade-off calls and ensure work is ready to ship. * Stay close to the market You’ll stay close to on-chain data, market trends, competitor coverage and user demand. You’ll use those inputs to help decide which integrations, fixes, and quality improvements Koinly should prioritise next. Core skills * Can analyse and parse blockchain and Defi protocols You’ve gone deep on protocols, not just used them. You can read a whitepaper and explain how Pendle separates principal and yield, or how Hyperliquid PnL settles. * Can build exceptional products You know what good looks like. You have built standout products that turn complex technical problems into simple user experiences. * Knows the space You’ve worked in or close to the space and know the landscape: who’s building what, and how the major ecosystems differ. Standout abilities * Analytical and precise You take a rough idea and make it actionable. You read API docs and JSON responses and figure out what’s signal, what’s missing, and what we need to do about it. * Comfortable making decisions that move product and growth metrics You think in funnels and cohorts. When you propose work, you can explain what you expect it to move and why. * Strong written communication and engineering partnership. You turn difficult investigations into one-page specs engineers can build from without translation. You hold your own in technical conversations and act as the voice of the product inside the team. Work within one of the most rapidly growing industries in the world! Your first month Your first few weeks at Koinly are all about mutual discovery. You’ll receive hands-on tasks that help us understand your technical strengths and how you operate in our async-first, ownership-driven environment. At the same time, you’ll get to explore whether our way of working challenges and supports you in the right ways. We’re big on clarity, autonomy, and getting things done — and we hold our own product to the same standards. We expect our users to get their taxes done in under 20 minutes — and we aim to build with that same focus and confidence. What you'll get * A lean, high-trust engineering team that ships with quality. * An async-first environment with minimal meetings. * Truly flexible working hours (40h/week, no more). * 32 paid days off (incl. public holidays). * Co-working space budget, if desired. * Work on a technically rich product with real user impact. We're searching for passionate individuals eager to contribute to Alpaca's rapid growth. If you align with our core values—Stay Curious, Have Empathy, and Be Accountable—and are ready to make a significant impact, we encourage you to apply. Your Role: Alpaca's product team is looking for a Lead Product Manager to own Alpaca's regulated crypto product surface and to step into a leading role across our crypto programs. In this role you will own and grow a portfolio that spans crypto trading and multi-asset cross-margin, borrow / lend / earn, custody and on-chain settlement, tokenization (transfer agent, tokenized money market funds, on-chain issuance), and partnership programs from idea to launch. You will partner deeply with engineering, compliance, legal, partnerships, and the broader Alpaca product team to ship regulated crypto infrastructure at scale. You will help shape and grow the crypto product itself, and you will be expected to provide early signal on US policy changes rather than react after rules formalize. Things You Get To Do: * Product Ownership \& Strategy + Lead Alpaca's crypto product strategy across trading, borrow / lend / earn, custody, on-chain settlement, and tokenization. + Own flagship initiatives end-to-end — including multi-asset cross-margin, licensing build-out, transfer-agent-licensed tokenization, on-chain issuance for partners, stock loan tokenization, and tokenized money market funds. + Drive build-vs-buy, partner-vs-direct, and onshore-vs-offshore tradeoffs across regulated crypto products. + Take leadership of a portfolio of in-flight crypto projects, with the autonomy to set priorities, escalate tradeoffs, and unblock the team. Partnerships \& Growth + Take partnership programs end-to-end: idea launch PR growth (e.g. exchange-grade partnerships). + Run discovery with prospective and existing partners — broker-dealers, exchanges, custodians, stablecoin issuers, neobanks, and institutional clients. + Translate partner needs into prioritized product decisions with clear "yes / no / not now" framing that doesn't over-promise. Regulatory \& Policy + Engage directly with US regulators and policy stakeholders (NY DFS, SEC, FinCEN, FINRA), partnering with internal legal and compliance on transfer-agent, broker-dealer, and tokenized-securities frameworks. - Provide an early heads-up on US policy changes - feed signal into the broader Alpaca roadmap before rules formalize. + Own the operational and regulatory implications of crypto product launches (custody, settlement, AML, market integrity). Team \& Leadership + Help build and develop the Alpaca crypto PM team; hire and ramp existing PMs, set bar and standards across the cluster. + Represent crypto in cross-functional forums; product reviews, partner exec syncs, and leadership-level discussions. + Ad hoc duties and projects as assigned. Who You Are (Must Haves): * Excited about what Alpaca is building and ready to take a leadership role across our most ambitious crypto programs. * Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, finance, or equivalent. * 8+ years of experience in Product Management, Engineering, and/or starting a startup, with senior-level ownership in crypto, brokerage, exchanges, or financial infrastructure. * Demonstrated ownership of regulated crypto products at production scale across any of the following: borrow / lend / earn, multi-asset cross-margin, custody, on-chain settlement, tokenization, or stablecoin / payment rails. * Direct experience navigating US crypto regulatory frameworks — NY DFS BitLicense, SEC transfer-agent rules, FinCEN, FINRA broker-dealer rules, and SEC tokenized-securities frameworks. * Track record of taking partnership programs from idea to launch to PR to growth. * AI-native PM workflow; AI is part of your daily stack in getting work done. * Business acumen to understand tradeoffs between stakeholders and technology feasibility with time and budget constraints. Who You Might Be (Nice-to-Haves): * Hands-on web3 / on-chain engineering fluency — wallets, L1/L2, atomic on-chain mint flows, MEV-aware design. * Experience with tokenized money market funds, tokenized securities, RWA issuance, or other regulated tokenized-asset products. * Direct experience launching crypto borrow / lend, prime brokerage, or cross-margin products at scale. * Familiarity with onchain settlement layers (including broker-dealer integration patterns) and stablecoin payment rails. * Direct experience navigating SEC / DFS / FINRA in a startup setting, not just at a large bank or exchange. * Background combining regulated financial product context (broker-dealer, exchange, custodian) with crypto-native infrastructure. How We Take Care of You: * Competitive Salary \& Stock Options * Health Benefits * New Hire Home-Office Setup: One-time USD $500 * Monthly Stipend: USD $150 per month via a Brex Card Alpaca is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace dedicated to pursuing and hiring a diverse workforce. Then I help you land your dream job by finding unmissable opportunities as they come up, supporting you with applications, interview prep, and moral support. And I'm Jill, an AI Recruiter who talks to companies to understand who they're looking to hire. Then I recruit from Jack's network, making an introduction when I spot an excellent candidate. How does this work? * Jack's an AI agent for job searching and career coaching. He works for you. * Jill is the AI recruiter working for the company. She recruits from Jack's network. * If it's a match and the company wants to meet you, they'll make the intro. In the meantime, if you'd like, Jack will send you excellent alternatives. We never post fake jobs This isn't a trick. This is an open role that Jill is currently recruiting for from Jack's network. Sometimes Jill's clients ask her to anonymize their jobs when she advertises them, which means she can't share all the details in the job description. We appreciate this can make them look a bit suspect, but there isn't much we can do about it. Give Jack a spin! You could land this role. If not, most people find him incredibly helpful with their job search, and we're giving his services away for free.

Senior Product Manager
From $150,000/yr
We’re reinventing payments. In less than four years, Dojo disrupted the market to become the largest and most loved acquirer in the UK. Our payments infrastructure, purpose-built for in-person commerce, is game changing. Now, over 150,000 customers across four countries choose to transact billions with us every year. But we’re just getting started. Our people are the driving force behind our success. They are our greatest investment and our ultimate competitive advantage. We hire exceptional people and give them the autonomy, trust, and ownership to thrive. The results take care of themselves. The role * We are looking for a Product Manager who can wear two hats simultaneously: The Evangelist/Teacher: You will treat this platform as a consumer-grade product, obsessing over how easily our Engineers, PMs, and Data Scientists can adopt, trust, and use it. * The Shipper/Engine room: You manage the trade-offs between "keeping the lights on" (fixing a broken pipeline) and "innovation" (building a new self-serve tool). You have the backbone to say "No" to the Head of Sales so the team can ship the long-term fix. We don't just want "tables in a warehouse." We want a data ecosystem that is as easy to use as the app we build for our customers. What Will You Do - Product Strategy: "Data as a seamless enabler of speed \& impact" - Define the "Golden Path": You will create the roadmap that moves us from "wild west" data creation to a governed, paved road. You decide how a dataset is born, certified, and deprecated. - Balance Safety vs. Speed: You will solve the ultimate fintech paradox: "How do I give 500 people access to data instantly without leaking PII or violating banking regulations?" - ROI \& Attribution: You won't just track platform uptime; you will track value. Which datasets are driving the most decisions? Which are "zombie" data products (tools, tables, pipelines, processes) wasting compute costs, slowing execution or decreasing trust? - The Engine (Technical Execution) - Real-Time Capabilities: You will work with engineers to move beyond daily batches. You will own the strategy for enabling event streaming to enable real-time fraud checks and instant user notifications and beyond. - The Semantic Layer: You will own the "Business Logic" layer. You ensure that when Finance says "Revenue" and Product says "Revenue," they are looking at the exact same number. Our metadata and documentation are not just ‘hygiene’ they power broad user understanding and AI products which consume them - Platform Scalability: You will prioritize technical debt alongside feature work, ensuring our modern data stack doesn't buckle under 10x growth. - The Experience (Internal Enablement) The "Data Portal": You will own the discovery experience. A new joiner should be able to find the "Transactions" dataset, read its documentation, and see who owns it in - Self-Serve or Die: Your goal is to eliminate "Data Support Tickets." You will build tools that allow PMs to run their own A/B tests and Commercial leads to build their own dashboards. - Community Building: You will run "Data Clinics," write internal newsletters, and champion a culture where data literacy is a core skill for every employee, not just analysts. - Data products in the AI enabled world (Strategy \& Innovation) - Harnessing the power of S/LLMs: You will explore, experiment and build strategy for using a wide range of AI tools to enable, empower \& enhance customer experience and data products - thinking way beyond code assist! - Innovation in the Agentic world: You will think ahead to the agentic world and power Dojo to safely and effectively leverage AI agents within Dojo’s broader data ecosystem What You Will Bring * The "Full Stack" PM: You have 5+ years of Product Management experience. You are equally happy discussing Lakehouses vs Warehouses with an engineer as you are discussing User Journey Maps with a designer. * Fintech Context (Preferred): You understand that in our world, data isn't just "content"—it's a ledger. You know the importance of exactness, audit trails, and immutability. * SQL Fluent: You can query your own data. You don't need to be a DBA, but you shouldn't need an analyst to hold your hand to check a hypothesis. * Empathy for the "Customer": You understand that your customers are the stressed-out Backend Engineer trying to log an event and the rushed Marketing Lead trying to find a segmentation list. You build to make their lives easier. * Governance as a Product: You don't see governance as "red tape." You see it as a feature that gives users confidence. You know how to automate compliance so it doesn't slow people down. Why This Role is Different * Most Fintechs will ask you to just "build the pipeline" and ignore the user experience. * Most Tech Companies will ask you to focus on "insights" but lack the complex, high-stakes data engineering challenges. * We offer both. You get the engineering complexity of a neobank with the product culture of a SaaS platform. * Less "How," More "When" and "Who": We have strong Tech Leads who own the architecture. Your job is to give them clarity and space to execute, and then ensure their work is adopted by the business. * High Visibility: You are the face of the Data in every room you are in. When things go well, you share the credit; when things break, you manage the comms. Success Metrics (How We Measure You) * Adoption: % of internal teams actively using the platform with the necessary segmentations for audience, task and tooling/paths. * Velocity: End to End latency, change failure rate, recovery time (think DORA or beyond!) * Trust: Reduction in "Data Quality" support tickets, user satisfaction etc. (e.g., "Why does this number look wrong?"). * ROI: Incremental value (revenue, cost, time saved, stability, risk reduction) Dojo home and away We believe our best work happens when we collaborate in-person. These “together days” foster communication, drive innovation and spark our brightest ideas. That's why we have an office-first culture. This means working from the office 4+ days per week. With offices across Europe, we know a thing or two about staying dynamic. Need deep focus? Head to a quiet zone. Big ideas? Collaboration spaces have you covered. Just here for a catch-up? Our social hubs make it easy. Do work that counts, in spaces made for you. Question: what’s curious, relentless, and customer obsessed? If you’re keen to know the answer, you’re a third of the way to meeting our Dojo values. If The Following Speak To You, Let’s Talk * You’re curious. You have a real desire to learn and create. * You’re relentless. You keep going even when it’s easier not to. * You’re customer-obsessed. You know how important customers are to what you do. Diversity, equity, and inclusion at Dojo From local bakeries to well-known eateries, Dojo payments serve over 150,000 places across the UK. And something that’s fundamental to creating relevant, innovative products at Dojo is to build teams to reflect the diversity of the businesses we serve.
