Position Specific Description Support and provide analysis on the Corporate G\&A budget Support all aspects of payroll analysis as needed for Team Support plant leadership with real-time insights and reporting on operational and financial performance by conducting strategic analysis, tracking and identifying key performance metrics, and developing driver-based analytics and tools Assist outage manager as needed with both Plant and Outage spend for total control over monthly plant cost Assist outage cost personnel as needed in using tools available for cost information Assist as needed in changing purchase order $ amounts that have scope creep Owns and leads analysis for leadership which requires cross-functional collaboration with demonstrated project management experience; demonstrates excellent communication \& presentation skills, has strong experience utilizing advanced Microsoft Excel to lead analysis and exhibits working knowledge of data tools such as corporate financial systems (SAP) Assist as needed with Investment Recovery in the disposal of removed equipment and proper accounting Job Overview ---------------- This job assists in execution of the Corporate and NextEra Power Generation business processes. With limited guidance, employees in this role are responsible for OandM and capital budget preparation and reporting, cash flow management, and financial analysis and reporting. Individuals plan, schedule, communicate, and coordinate the annual budgeting process, the monthly re-forecasts, and month-end close for the site, and ensure that all transactions are in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley. Employees in this position also focus on the continuous improvement of spending, risks and opportunities, and costing methods in accordance with corporate policy and business objectives.
