What You Will Do STO is one of the largest facility operations divisions at LANL and we oversee 2.2 million square feet of facilities where low and moderate hazard scientific work is performed. The Technical Areas (TA) we cover include a large portion of TA-03 and TA's 43, 59, 48, 33, 35, 46, 36, 57, 66 and 49. For these areas we manage all maintenance, construction, and operations. The Operations Manager 3 serves as the primary point of contact between the Facility Operations Director (FOD) and the programmatic divisions operating within STO Facilities. The Operations Manager 3 is responsible for ensuring seamless communication, alignment of priorities, and timely support. This position oversees all aspects of facility operations, safety, compliance, maintenance, work control, and project support, ensuring that routine activities and complex projects are executed safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively while maintaining strong partnerships with programmatic customers.
