From $28/yr

Your Mission EV charging is moving from a specialist topic into the everyday infrastructure of businesses, buildings, and communities. The products behind that shift need to be powerful enough for complex energy systems and simple enough for people who are not mobility or energy experts. At reev, you will shape the experience of software used by businesses, electricians, and charging operators across Europe. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to build real product experiences, not only define them from a distance. You will own product design end to end: from understanding a problem and exploring ideas to building interfaces, validating them with users, and preparing them for implementation. As reev's go-to Product Designer, you will work closely with Product Managers, the founder, UX Research, Engineering, customers and installers to boost our products’ usability and adoption. Your design work drives business metrics and caters to the success of reev. Own the full design process. Turn product problems into clear user experiences, flows, and interfaces that people can understand and use. Build, do not just advise. Spend meaningful time building prototypes and high-fidelity UI, while keeping the experience grounded in real user needs. Validate with the people who use the product. Test ideas and designs with customers and electricians, and use insights from Customer Support, Customer Success, and Sales to improve the experience. Work directly with Engineering. Explore feasibility with engineers early, explain design intent clearly, and hand over work in a way that supports high-quality implementation. Create consistency across the product suite. Help establish a coherent product design language across the entire product portfolio. Make design decisions that can stand up to discussion. Use design principles, benchmarks, user evidence, and sound reasoning to explain your choices while staying open to feedback and practical compromise. What You Bring Along You are a Product Designer with a strong foundation in product design and experience working as part of a cross-functional team. You enjoy building products, exploring solutions, and refining the details that make an experience work. You are comfortable working with C-Level Management and moving from early ideas to high-quality execution. * You bring strong product design craft. You can move from user experience flows to detailed UI, and you care about the quality of the final interaction and interface. * You bring structure and ownership. You can turn open questions into clear next steps, make thoughtful trade-offs, and involve the right people at the right time. * You communicate and collaborate with clarity. You can explain and defend design decisions with evidence, incorporate feedback, and make thoughtful trade-offs without losing sight of the user need. * You enjoy cross-functional collaboration. You work well with different perspectives and turn complex product challenges into useful products. * You use a modern design toolkit. You have practical experience with AI-assisted design and prototyping tools such as Claude Design and Lovable, alongside Figma. * You have developed a strong foundation through experience in a startup, scale-up, or established software company. You can apply your design foundation in a fast-moving product environment and work effectively across different stakeholders. Should have * Experience designing B2B SaaS products or other complex software products where clarity matters. * German language skills that help you take part in user interviews or user testing with customers and electricians. We don't expect every box ticked. But we do expect you to care deeply, move fast, and hold yourself to a high standard. Sound like you? Let's talk. What You Can Expect From Us How we work Clear goals. Real ownership. No politics. We move fast, decide together, and hold each other accountable - because progress beats perfection. Monthly team events and regular cross-office collaboration between Munich and Zagreb keep us connected as one team. Where you'll work Our office at Stiglmaierplatz is where collaboration happens - face to face, shoulder to shoulder. For this role, we expect you on-site four days per week. Not because we track attendance, but because we believe the best outcomes happen when great people are in the same room. What You Get * 28 vacation days - Plus additional days off between Christmas and New Year. Good work starts with proper rest. * Mental health, taken seriously - Free access to the nilo platform with individual sessions from psychologists and business coaches. We want you balanced, not just productive. * AI tools - no limits - Every person and every team at reev uses the AI tools they choose, without budget constraints. We believe in working with the best tools available, and we don't slow that down. * Move sustainably - JobRad, subsidised public transport, or EGYM Wellpass. You choose what fits your life. * €1,000 learning budget - Yours to use. Plus internal development opportunities. Because when you grow, we all grow. * Your future, sorted - Digital, commission-free company pension (bAV) with DYNO. Transparent, with a personal dashboard. No fine print. Benefits may vary slightly by location. Your recruiter will walk you through what applies to your role. About Us reev makes EV charging intelligent and energy management simple for more than 7,000 companies across Europe. We work on infrastructure that Europe really needs: charging, energy, buildings, connected in one system that simply has to work for our customers. The market is fast, complex, and full of open questions. That is exactly why we are looking for people who do not wait for perfect conditions. If you want ownership, reev is the right place for you. You get responsibility with room to make decisions. We decide, we deliver, we improve, openly, respectfully, and with a focus on what ultimately works. We work across teams, locations, and markets, pragmatic and closely aligned. For us, responsibility means finishing things, clarifying dependencies early, asking for help when things get stuck, and sharing knowledge so others can move faster. Diversity is not a badge for us, but a quality factor. Different perspectives improve decisions, especially when speed and complexity are high. Product Designer (all genders)

ReevMünchen, BY, DE

Let's talk.#### What you can expect from us How we work Clear goals. Your recruiter will walk you through what applies to your role.#### About us reev makes EV charging intelligent and energy management simple for more than 7,000 companies across Europe. We welcome applications regardless of gender, gender identity, age, sexual orientation, religion, political opinion, social or economic background, language, family status, appearance, disability, or chronic illness.

ToastChennai

From $39/yr

<p>Toast creates technology to help restaurants and local businesses succeed in a digital world, helping business owners operate, increase sales, engage customers, and keep employees happy.</p> <p>Toast is building a unified, enterprise-grade inventory platform that will power inventory for every Toast location, Restaurants and Retail alike. We are seeking a highly skilled, AI-native Product Designer to shape that experience: someone with a strong portfolio, a focus on exceptional UI design, and the hands-on ability to build working prototypes with AI tools like Replit, Magic Patterns, or Claude. This role involves designing for the unique needs of a diverse customer base, including restaurants, hybrid models, convenience stores, bottle shops, grocery stores, and beyond.</p> <p>You will be the product designer for inventory platform capabilities built by our Chennai teams, working day to day with a Chennai-based product manager counterpart and reporting to Toast Retail's design leadership in the U.S. Together you will turn product strategy into experiences customers can trust with their stock, their costs, and their books.</p> <p><strong>Why This Role Matters</strong></p> <p>Inventory is where a store's money sits. When stock counts are wrong, invoices are keyed in by hand, or costs don't reach the accounting system, owners lose margin and hours they don't have. The workflows you design will decide how supplier data, invoices, stock, costs, and revenue move through Toast and into our customers' accounting platforms, and whether the people doing that work, often at the end of a long shift, feel in control or buried in it.</p> <p>You will be Toast Retail's design presence in our Chennai office: the on-site design partner for its product and engineering teams, and part of Toast's wider design community, including product designers in Bangalore. Because this work spans regions and time zones, the role calls for strong autonomous design judgment: keeping local teams unblocked, making well-informed design and scope tradeoffs within the broader product vision, and bringing US-based design, product, and business stakeholders in when direction, customer impact, or strategic choices need broader alignment.</p> <p><strong>A day in the life (Responsibilities)&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Own design for your product area:</strong> Take your work from early discovery through shipped UI, connecting each workflow to the broader inventory platform vision.</li> <li><strong>Prototype with AI:</strong> Use AI prototyping tools such as Replit, Magic Patterns, or Claude to build working, interactive prototypes with realistic data, so ideas can be tested with customers and engineers before the team commits to them. Use AI across the rest of your practice too, from synthesizing research to exploring concepts, validating outputs carefully and modeling responsible, secure use of AI for the team.</li> <li><strong>Design AI-first workflows:</strong> Identify where AI can materially reduce customer effort, such as reading invoices, normalizing supplier and item data, and recommending catalog and accounting mappings. Design just as carefully for when it is unsure: how customers review low-confidence results, correct mistakes, and come to trust the system.</li> <li><strong>Engage directly with customers:</strong> Research with retail and restaurant operators, and with the internal teams who support them, to understand their inventory needs, and translate those insights into design direction and testable ideas.</li> <li><strong>Make complex data feel simple:</strong> Turn supplier catalogs, mappings, sync status, and errors into experiences that are clear, forgiving, and fast, on desktop and in the hand.</li> <li><strong>Collaborate early and often:</strong> Partner closely with product managers and engineers in Chennai and the U.S., sharing work early, communicating design rationale clearly, and helping the team make good decisions quickly.</li> <li><strong>Raise the craft bar:</strong> Deliver pixel-perfect UI, apply and extend the Toast design system with good judgment, and contribute to the quality of the wider Retail design practice.</li> </ul> <p>You will be a central collaborator within a cross-functional team of designers, product managers, and engineers, designing sophisticated, inventory-centric capabilities such as:</p> <ul> <li>Invoice digitization, including AI-driven extraction of invoice headers and line items</li> <li>EDI ingestion and mapping</li> <li>Supplier and item data models</li> <li>Native mobile experiences for key inventory workflows</li> <li>Migrating existing customers onto the new inventory platform</li> <li>Accounting and other integrations that keep stock levels, Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), revenue, and accounting records accurate across channels</li> </ul> <p><strong>Team and Impact</strong></p> <p>You will join a passionate team dedicated to driving the consistency, integrity, strategy, and vision of Toast's next-generation product experience. The team is co-located in Chennai and the U.S. While the role sits in the Retail line of business, its scope and impact are cross-product: you will deliver inventory functionality that benefits both Retail and Restaurant customers, and help scale those capabilities as Toast expands into new markets.</p> <p>A key part of this work involves building on Toast's investments in AI-driven invoice scanning and other efforts led by our Chennai teams. You will partner closely with engineering and data teams in Chennai who are already building core pieces of this technology stack, including EDI and document-processing components.</p> <p><strong>What you'll need to thrive (Requirements)</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Experience &amp; Leadership (3+ years):</strong> Demonstrated ability to lead the solution for a product area, craft compelling visual experiences, and connect this work to a broader product vision.</li> <li><strong>AI-Native Practice:</strong> AI is part of how you work every day, not an occasional experiment. You use tools like Claude, Replit, or Magic Patterns to research, explore, and prototype, and you can build working prototypes to test ideas with customers and engineers. Crucially, you can tell valuable AI integration from mere hype, in your own process and in the product.</li> <li><strong>Core UX/UI Expertise:</strong> Solid understanding of UX principles and best practices for both web and native mobile applications, along with a strong grasp of platform-specific UX and UI patterns.</li> <li><strong>Autonomy &amp; Initiative:</strong> Ability to navigate and initiate work on undefined projects, efficiently gathering the information needed to begin, and to keep moving when key partners are in another time zone.</li> <li><strong>Collaboration &amp; Communication:</strong> Strong communication skills, a proactive mindset for sharing work early and often, and the ability to build trusting relationships across functions and regions.</li> <li><strong>Design Tool Proficiency:</strong> Proficient in design software (preferably Figma), including maintaining clean files and delivering pixel-perfect final UI designs for handoff (to a developer or an AI prototyping tool).</li> <li><strong>Adaptability &amp; Feedback:</strong> Able to take feedback constructively and pivot quickly when necessary.</li> <li><strong>User Empathy:</strong> A strong ability to understand and empathize with users, designing digital experiences that delight and create a sense of accomplishment, especially within stressful or monotonous workflows.</li> <li><strong>Design Systems:</strong> Familiarity with corporate design systems, knowing how to apply them appropriately, and the judgment to push beyond them when innovation requires it.</li> <li><strong>Customer Engagement:</strong> Willingness to engage directly with customers to gather feedback and generate ideas for advancing product features.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What will help you stand out (Nice to Haves)</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience designing data-heavy operational or B2B software, such as inventory, supply chain, procurement, or accounting tools.</li> <li>Experience designing AI or machine-learning features that include human review, confidence, or correction.</li> <li>Design system experience (including creation and maintenance).</li> <li>Experience contributing directly to a production codebase alongside engineers, for example opening pull requests for UI changes.</li> <li>Prior experience in a startup environment or on zero-to-one projects.</li> </ul> <p data-pm-slice="1 1 []"><strong>AI at Toast</strong></p> <p>At Toast, one of our company values is that we're hungry to build and learn. We believe learning new AI tools empowers us to build for our customers faster, more independently, and with higher quality. Senior Product Designer

CadmusMelbourne, Victoria, Australia

The Cadmus platform shapes how millions of students and tens of thousands of academics experience assessment. That is a massive design challenge that goes well beyond wireframes; it requires taking dense institutional workflows and transforming them into interfaces that feel fluid, intentional, and beautiful. Cadmus is built on the proposition that design is the mechanism of academic integrity. When software is designed beautifully, users trust it implicitly and engage with it deeply. We believe that complex educational software shouldn’t look or feel like a legacy spreadsheet—it should possess the polish, tactility, and visual magic of the world's finest prosumer tools. We are looking for a Senior Product Designer who is a master of their digital craft. You are someone who bridges the gap between deep systems thinking and elite visual execution. You will own core platform areas end-to-end, raising the aesthetic and interaction bar across the entire Cadmus ecosystem. What Success Looks Like In your first year, you will have: * Elevated the product’s aesthetic and perceived value: You will lead the evolution of the Cadmus design system, introducing a level of visual polish, type hierarchy, and spatial layout that elevates the entire brand. The product won't just function better; it will look and feel premium. * Injected delight into dense academic workflows: You will take inherently dry workflows—like assessment grading, rubric creation, and analytics tracking—and turn them into visually stunning, tactile, and rewarding user experiences. * Ensured the "magic" survives production: You will work in lockstep with engineers to ensure that your exact visual intentions—from micro-interactions and transitions to precise border radiuses and padding—are implemented flawlessly in production. The gap between your Figma file and live code will approach zero. * Balanced high craft with pragmatic shipping: You raise the visual quality bar without relying on speculative, unbuildable concepts. You make deliberate trade-offs, delivering improvements that are both breathtakingly polished and highly practical to build. * Introduced user insights through a design lens: You conduct research that surfaces non-obvious insights about how students and academics interact with the UI, using those insights to solve complex usability problems beautifully. Requirements WHO YOU ARE Your Visual Craft \& Taste * 8+ years of experience designing complex SaaS, B2B2C, or premium prosumer digital products. * Impeccable visual taste. You obsess over the fundamentals: typography scales, precise grid systems, subtle gradients, drop shadows, intentional negative space, and responsive layout flows. * A portfolio that screams "execution." Your portfolio showcases live, shipped products that demonstrate incredible attention to detail, modern UI aesthetics, and micro-interactions. We want to see how your designs move, feel, and reacts Systems \& Interaction Design * A systems thinker who loves component architecture. You don't just build pages; you build living design systems. You care deeply about states, variables, tokens, and making a design system highly scalable for engineering. * Mastery of information architecture. You know how to bring clarity to data-dense interfaces without oversimplifying them or hiding utility behind endless dropdowns. Execution \& Collaboration * Strong product judgment. You know when to fight for a pixel-perfect interaction and when to make a deliberate trade-off to ship a feature. * Deep engineering alignment. You speak the language of front-end developers. You understand HTML/CSS behaviors, flexbox layouts, and technical constraints, and you use that knowledge to push the boundaries of what can be built beautifully. What This Role Is Not * Not a template or kit-bashing job: We aren't looking to just drop in a stock UI kit. We want a designer who brings bespoke visual excellence and unique creative flair to our product. * Not a concept-only or illustration role: You won’t be designing speculative, unbuildable concepts or marketing landing pages. You’re shipping functional, high-fidelity UI for a core application. * Not a standard UX-research role: While you will talk to users, your primary output is high-fidelity execution. We need a builder, not a pure strategist. * Not detached from engineering: Your designs need to be practical, buildable, and developed in close, daily collaboration with engineering. Benefits WORKING AT CADMUS * Work Your Way: We have a flexible, hybrid culture, with 2 anchor days weekly in our Melbourne HQ for when we need to collaborate in person, and the freedom to work from anywhere the rest of the week. * Real Ownership: You will have a major say in our architecture and our product roadmap. * Career Growth: We focus on mentoring and planning for your future so you can grow along with the company. * Inclusive Environment: We value different backgrounds and perspectives. If you love education and technology, you will belong here.

CoStar GroupSydney, New South Wales, Australia

From $202/yr

Job Description Senior Product Designer will be responsible for leading the design of complex experiences within a squad or crew, ensuring work aligns with product strategy, business goals, and user needs. They define user journeys, drive design decisions, and advocate for design best practices across teams. * Quality \& Consistency – Ensure high-quality design execution by maintaining alignment with the design system while evolving and improving design patterns. * Business Impact – Surface customer insights, collaborate with product, engineering, and go-to-market teams, and develop solutions that improve product value and business outcomes. * Thinking Big \& Getting Stuff Done – Explore and advocate for new tools, processes, and methodologies that improve the efficiency and impact of the design team. Working within the Agent Division in the Skylight Crew, the Senior Product Designer will partner closely with the Lead Product Designer and their triad peers in product and engineering to deliver compelling outcomes across our agent products. This is a predominantly B2B role on a SaaS product, designing for people who use our tools as part of their livelihood — agents, sales teams, principals and admins working at pace and under commercial pressure. Designing well for them means understanding their business. The product offering is relatively new, but the challenge isn't a shortage of insight — it's deciding what we build. That demands ruthless prioritisation: knowing which gaps must be closed to be credible, which are worth conceding, and where we can be meaningfully better rather than incrementally similar. You'll be expected to form a point of view, back it with evidence, and argue it — including when the answer is that we shouldn't build the thing. You'll work end-to-end, from discovery to shipped detail, extending our design system rather than working around it. You'll raise the craft bar across the crew, bring your triad with you rather than presenting to them, and mentor less experienced designers. The Lead sets direction; you'll be one of the people they rely on to shape it and make it real. What You’ll Do * Develop and execute organic search strategies across multiple brands, driving growth in visibility, traffic, and search performance. * Lead end-to-end design initiatives, delivering intuitive, user-centred experiences aligned to product strategy and business goals. * Conduct user research, usability testing and discovery activities to uncover insights and validate design decisions. * Create high-quality wireframes, prototypes and polished designs that balance customer needs, technical feasibility and commercial outcomes. * Champion design quality and consistency through active contribution to Domain’s design system, patterns and design standards. * Partner closely with Product Managers, Engineers and cross-functional teams to shape solutions and influence product direction. * Drive continuous improvement by facilitating design critiques, sharing best practices, and advocating for new tools, processes and ways of working. Ideally you’ll have * 5+ years’ experience in Product Design, UX/UI Design or a related field, supported by a degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a similar discipline. * Demonstrated expertise in at least one design specialisation, with a strong portfolio showcasing user-centred design practices and outcomes. * Advanced proficiency in Figma, with experience creating wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity designs. * Skilled in user research, usability testing and leveraging data insights to inform and validate design decisions. * Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams, partnering closely with Product Managers, Engineers and other stakeholders. * Strong understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG), design systems and agentic workflows, with a proven ability to contribute to and improve scalable design practices. What’s In It For You Working at CoStar Group means you'll enjoy a culture of collaboration and innovation that attracts the best and brightest across a broad range of disciplines. We offer you generous compensation and performance-based incentives. As well as having an outstanding working environment, other perks include extra days of annual leave, leadership development programs, LinkedIn Learning, Perkbox discounts and much more! Product Designer

PalantirLondon, United Kingdom

A World-Changing Company Palantir builds the world’s leading software for data-driven decisions and operations. By bringing the right data to the people who need it, our platforms empower our partners to develop lifesaving drugs, forecast supply chain disruptions, locate missing children, and more. The Role The Palantir Design Team is responsible for the human experience of using our software. Our team is growing rapidly, but we're committed to creating a tight-knit team environment that fosters trust, integrity, empathy, and growth. We work together in realising a shared product vision, and regularly give feedback and critique to each other. Designing at Palantir is a varied experience. On a given day, you might be: leading a design sprint for your product team; designing a micro-interaction to make a complex analytical task feel simple; and/or advocating for UX consistency by creating flexible, reusable UI components. You consider things like API documentation, SDK functionality, and developer onboarding and can speak the language of a developer. You have familiarity with existing developer tooling and have strong understanding of developer workflows. Core Responsibilities • Interaction and visual design. As a product designer, you'll be involved at every stage of design work. You'll help define early product concepts, flesh out the high-level workflow and micro-interactions of a feature, and execute on a crisp and effective visual design. You should have experience with mockup and prototyping tools. • User research. We frequently do informal user research, and value people who can be flexible with research processes and methodologies to achieve the right outcome. • Prototyping. You will prototype, both to communicate your designs and validate your decisions. • Partnering with engineers. We work closely with product and forward deployed engineers to realize our design ideas. You'll treat engineers as partners and collaborate with them to prototype and build out products. • Awareness of how software interfaces are built. Familiarity with HTML, CSS, Javascript, and Typescript is appreciated. You don't need to be an expert—just fluent enough to collaborate with engineers, and know what's possible with frontend technologies. Resources and mentorship are available to designers who want to learn more. Designers at Palantir have great autonomy over their work, so a wide skill set is necessary. However, many designers on the team are also passionate experts in one area. You might be the kind of designer who ships code every week, or the kind of designer who shares detailed user research findings with your team. What We Value An iterative design process. You validate your ideas early (with stakeholders and users) and are thoughtful and intentional in seeking and responding to feedback. You move fast, listen, and adapt. You rapidly incorporate feedback, and prioritize collaboration. You are adept at giving and receiving critiques. Collaboration and communication. You can build great relationships with engineers, PMs, and other stakeholders—and convey your design rationale to them. To reach these audiences, you'll communicate your designs through a variety of methods: presenting your mockups, making prototypes, sharing a design spec. Thoughtful, intentional work. You know that form informs function and usability—that the surface layer doesn’t exist in a vacuum. Your design decisions are often informed by—and will influence—engineering and business considerations. Dedication to the user. You'll design software that changes how people use data in government, commercial, and philanthropic contexts. You strive to understand our users—who can range from a manufacturing plant worker to a pharmaceutical researcher—and fight to empower them. What We Require A portfolio demonstrating at least one software interface design project. If parts of your portfolio are password-protected, please include your portfolio password under 'Additional Information' when applying. Life at Palantir We want every Palantirian to achieve their best outcomes, that’s why we celebrate individuals’ strengths, skills, and interests, from your first interview to your longterm growth, rather than rely on traditional career ladders. Paying attention to the needs of our community enables us to optimize our opportunities to grow and helps ensure many pathways to success at Palantir. Promoting health and well-being across all areas of Palantirians’ lives is just one of the ways we’re investing in our community. Learn more at Life at Palantir and note that our offerings may vary by region. In keeping consistent with Palantir’s values and culture, we believe employees are “better together” and in-person work affords the opportunity for more creative outcomes. Therefore, we encourage employees to work from our offices to foster connectivity and innovation. Many teams do offer hybrid options (WFH a day or two a week), allowing our employees to strike the right trade-off for their personal productivity. Based on business need, there are a few roles that allow for “Remote” work on an exceptional basis. If you are applying for one of these roles, you must work from the city and or country in which you are employed. If the posting is specified as Onsite, you are required to work from an office. If you want to empower the world's most important institutions, you belong here. Palantir values excellence regardless of background. We are committed to making the application and hiring process accessible to everyone and will provide a reasonable accommodation for those living with a disability. If you need an accommodation for the application or hiring process , please and let us know how we can help. Please note that you will never be asked to submit a payment or share financial information to participate in our interview process. If you suspect that you've been contacted by a scammer, we recommend you cease all communication with the individual and consider reporting them to the relevant authorities, such as the US FBI Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) . Product Designer

Gale & Co.London Area, United Kingdom

From $65,000/yr

Product Designer London Hybrid working (In-office 3 Days/week) Salary up to £65,000 + Stock options Summary We're on the hunt for two more Product Designers to join the team at Yonder, the London fintech behind the credit and debit rewards card members describe as “as if Time Out, Amex and Monzo had a baby”. These roles are for designers who already sweat the visual details and want to become true end-to-end product designers. You bring the craft. Yonder will help you build the product thinking and research skills that round it out. About Yonder Yonder combines credit and debit in one membership that’s fair, flexible and actually enjoyable. No jargon. No dusty points system. Just rewards that feel rewarding, from bao to beer to a boarding pass. It’s a small, ambitious team, and design sits right at the heart of how Yonder grows. Design is how a new member decides they can trust them with their money. It’s how something as complex as a credit account becomes simple, clear and fun. Yonder lives on a smartphone, and the bar for how it feels is very high. About the opportunity Yonder’s engineers can move faster than ever, and design is now what keeps squads moving. So the design team is growing to five, with these two Product Designers sitting alongside the senior designers. You will be embedded in a squad and paired with a senior PM. The product is already in members’ hands, so what you design ships and gets used. Your PM will carry more of the product thinking at the start, while you build that muscle yourself. You’ll also have Craig, Yonder’s Head of Design. He made the same move from graphic design into product design, and he’s invested in getting you there. The aim is simple: you arrive with strong craft, and you grow into a true end-to-end product designer. What you’ll do: * Craft experiences people love using. Yonder feels different from other finance apps because of how much the team obsesses over the craft. Your UI is a big part of that from day one. * Work shoulder to shoulder with your squad. You’ll work in the open with your PM and engineers from the first sketch, so the final product feels like it was built by one team. * Learn to run your own research. Designers at Yonder don’t sit at arm’s length from members. You’ll learn to test concepts, run usability sessions and turn what you hear into what gets built. * Build your product thinking on real problems. You’ll work through knotty problems, like making a credit account as simple to understand as a current account, with support on the trade-offs. * Balance speed with polish. Some weeks you’ll put scrappy ideas in front of members just to learn. Other weeks you’ll slow right down to get the details right. * Grow into owning your product area end to end. About you: You’ll have a few years behind you designing for consumer digital products: apps, websites, launches. Maybe in-house, maybe agency. You might even have freelanced for a while. Often you’ll come from a brand or visual background, or have a degree in design or visual communication. Craft and detail are what you obsess over, and you can’t leave something alone until it’s right. You’ve got a baseline understanding of the broader product design process, but you might not yet have worked in a true end-to-end product design environment. That’s OK. That’s what this role is for. You’ll be a great fit if you: * Have a strong eye for detail. The little moments, style and craft that go beyond clean and minimalist. Your portfolio needs to show this. * Know the fundamentals of graphic and UI design (layout, typography, colour). * Have pushed a brand forward in a digital product, ideally a mobile app. * Want to make product thinking and research your strengths. * Share work early and use feedback well, and see PMs and engineers as creative partners. Bonus points for consumer-facing apps or websites with a lifestyle or editorial edge. This is probably not quite right for you if: * Your strength is UX process and research, and visual craft is the part you’re still building. Here, we're looking for a skill balance the other way round. * You’d rather wait for instructions. Every squad at Yonder is business-critical, and you’ll be trusted to run with real problems early, with support. * You want a fully remote role. Yonder is office-first: at least three days a week in Shoreditch, with everyone in on Mondays. What’s in it for you: * £55k–£65k salary + stock options , depending on experience * 35 days’ holiday (27 days’ annual leave + 8 public holidays) * Private healthcare with Bupa * £750 a year learning and training allowance * Up to 12 weeks’ enhanced parental leave after a year * A structured progression process: fortnightly one-to-ones, quarterly peer perspectives, and time at the end of each week to reflect on what you’ve learned The process: 1. Intro call (45 mins) with Craig 2. Portfolio review (60 mins): a deep dive into one or two projects 3. Take-home challenge: small and fun, a couple of evenings, presented back over a call 4. On-site (2 hours) in Shoreditch: an app critique and a values interview Want to know more?? Hit APPLY! Diversity \& Inclusion: At Gale \& Co, we believe the best work happens when different perspectives, experiences, and ways of thinking come together. We are committed to building inclusive teams where people feel respected, supported, and able to do their best work. We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds and lived experiences, regardless of age, disability, gender identity or expression, marital status, race, religion or belief, sexual orientation, neurodiversity, or socio-economic background. If you’re excited about the role but don’t meet every point described, we still encourage you to apply - potential and perspective matter to us as much as experience. If you require any adjustments or support during the recruitment process, please let us know. We’re happy to make reasonable accommodations to ensure a fair and accessible experience for everyone.

Product Experience Designer - Lead - AI

LandytechLondon, England, UK

From $12/yr

Landytech is on a mission to revolutionise the way that investment managers, asset owners and their advisors access asset information. Powered by Sesame, an industry-leading investment reporting platform, we are helping clients in over 15 countries make informed investment decisions and deliver insights faster. The company is growing rapidly and it’s an exciting time to join, having secured $12M in Series B funding in January 2023. In just four years, it has gone from two co-founders to a team of 80+ staff, with offices in London and Paris. At Landytech, we see diversity as our strength with a team from over 15 countries and 14 languages spoken. The role AI has made producing screens easy. It has not made products coherent. We are looking for someone to own the experience of Sesame end to end — the client journey, the interaction logic, the look and feel, and the consistency of all of it. We have posted this role under two titles — Product Experience Designer and Design Engineer — to reach both backgrounds. Same role, same team. Apply once, to whichever fits you better. How We Work We have rebuilt our product process around AI rather than bolting it on: * AI is used heavily at every stage of both design and engineering, not just at the production end * Our design system lives in code, used by engineers and AI tooling alike * Tooling changes every few months and we expect it to * You will have real scope to shape how we work, and to help build the parts that do not exist yet. What You Will Shape How much of this you lead outright will depend on your experience and on how it fits with the team already in place. There is room to take on more over time. * Client journey. The journey for investment professionals, family offices and their advisors — grounded in time spent with them, not personas * The experience model. How portfolios, positions, transactions and valuations are represented, related and navigated across the platform — and a strong voice when teams disagree * Look, feel and consistency. The product should feel like one thing, and you will help define what that one thing is * The design system. A living implementation in code, developed with our front-end engineers rather than a Figma library that drifts from production * Craft in dense financial interfaces. Tables that stay legible at scale, numbers at the right precision, drill-downs that survive a messy real portfolio The must-have: setting the standard AI works to AI is very good at producing attractive interfaces. Given a design system, almost anyone can now generate a credible screen. The harder problem, and the one this role exists to solve, is making sure what we build expresses the product’s logic, density and intent rather than simply reusing its components. That means defining the standards and instructions our tools work to, reading the output critically enough to see why something is subtly wrong, and tightening the rules so it does not recur. Using AI to produce interfaces is not the skill we are looking for. Directing it to our standard, consistently and at depth, is. Strongly valued: front-end engineering experience Designing the experience is half of it. Delivering it is the other half. * Build and ship, rather than only specify * Drive the design system with engineers as a shared artefact in code * Design for real production constraints: scale, loading and error states, ugly data You do not need to be a full-time engineer. Comfort reading a component, working in a library such as shadcn/ui and reviewing a front-end PR goes a long way. Also valued: product management instincts If you have talked to clients directly, decided what not to build, and owned an outcome rather than a deliverable, we will weight it heavily. What We Are Looking For We do not expect anyone to have everything below — we would rather meet someone exceptional in two areas than adequate in all three. * 5+ years designing B2B, analytics or data-heavy products, with deep UX expertise in complex domains * Systems thinking — you think in objects, relationships and states before screens * Real craft in dense data interfaces: tables, grids, charts, hierarchy, typography, restraint * Fluency with AI-assisted design as a working method, and the specification skill described above * First-hand user research — you get past what users say they do to what they actually do * Comfortable as an editor and enabler: reviewing others’ work, teaching, holding a line * Genuine curiosity about finance. You need not arrive knowing what a capital call is Our process Our interview process is likely to include a portfolio or work conversation, a short practical exercise based on a real Sesame flow, and a working session with a product manager and an engineer. We adapt the steps to the candidate and will always tell you what to expect in advance. Benefits * Competitive salary and stock options * Hybrid working * Private medical insurance with Bupa for you and your family * Death in service insurance option * Pension plan with NEST * Cycle to Work scheme and gym allowance * Office food and drinks, regular socials
