About the role As a Lease Controller, you will play a critical role in overseeing and managing control on all contracts. Take responsibility for data integrity (building and tenant). What you will bring Inherent requirements for the position (non-negotiable) Minimum Grade 12 with Accountancy as subject. Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in lease reporting, data integrity management, and tenant administration within property management Additional demonstrable requirements: Associate Accounting Technician qualification will be a recommendation. Advanced skills in MS Office, including Excel for detailed financial analysis and Word for documentation. Experience with property management systems, example SAP and MDA. Strong numerical ability to perform complex calculations accurately, including financial adjustments, commission calculations, and reconciliation tasks. Observe work in progress and ensure that proper safety equipment is worn and relevant safety procedures are followed. Notify management and staff regarding violations of safety regulations and codes and make recommendations for corrections and follows-up to ensure that violations have been corrected. Investigate safety and health complaints submitted by management and employees. Develop and implement, after approval, internal safety rules, policies and guidelines and employee instructions. Conduct and provide safety training and safety toolbox talks. Provide HSE support to the projects by maintaining a visible presence in the workshops and project sites, where applicable. Assist in the coaching, mentoring and implementation of the HSE programmes in the workshop. Assist in auditing the Safety Management System. Provide direction, HSE support and resources to all project managers, supervisors and team leaders. Ensure that all incidents are reported immediately. Ensure incident corrective actions are followed up on and implemented. Ensure safety boards with postings including, but not limited to Health and Safety policy, inspections and audit results, project hazard assessment, location of first aid, etc. are maintained. Prepare for and participate in audits such as ISO 45001. Comply with all relevant health, safety, environmental, quality, legal and regulatory requirements as stipulated by company requirements.
