Product Strategy Lead
From $180/yr
ABOUT MAGIC EDEN & DICEY Magic Eden became one of the fastest-growing companies in crypto, building a category-defining NFT marketplace with deep crypto-native roots. We’re now building Dicey, a next-generation crypto casino and sportsbook platform targeting the $180B+ global gaming market. THE ROLE Dicey is hiring a Product Strategy Lead to be a force multiplier on our iGaming product team. You'll be the right hand to the Head of Product, taking ambiguous strategic problems (which player segments to win, how to differentiate from incumbents, where to invest the roadmap) and turning them into clear, defensible recommendations the team can act on. This role is built for someone with elite analytical horsepower from top-tier strategy consulting who's hungry to move into product. You'll start by leaning into your existing strengths, structuring ambiguity, building models, framing strategic bets, but the expectation is that you'll progressively take on product execution: writing PRDs, working directly with engineering, and owning feature outcomes end-to-end. If you've been a top-performing consultant and you've decided you want to build, not just recommend, this is the on-ramp. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Tackle the ambiguous problems: lead strategic deep-dives on market entry, player acquisition, competitive positioning, and feature prioritization. Translate them into recommendations leadership can act on. - Bring analytical rigor: build the financial models, market sizings, cohort analyses, and competitive teardowns that drive the calls we make. - Partner shoulder-to-shoulder with product execution: sometimes that means a strategy memo. Sometimes it means writing a PRD, debugging a metric, or owning a feature end-to-end. The line is intentionally blurry, and you should be excited about that. - Grow into a PM scope: over your first 6–12 months you'll progressively take direct ownership of product areas, evolving toward a fuller product management remit. We will invest in coaching you through the transition. - Be the voice of the player: run structured research and gambler interviews that ground the roadmap in real player behavior, not assumptions. WHAT YOU BRING - 3–6 years at a top-tier strategy consulting firm (McKinsey, BCG, Bain, or equivalent). Engagement Manager or Senior Associate level preferred. Direct project experience in consumer tech, gaming, fintech, or another high-velocity B2C industry is a strong plus. - Elite analytical horsepower: you can take an ambiguous question, structure a clean problem tree, build the model, stress-test the assumptions, and land a defensible answer. - A genuine desire to move into product: you've decided you don't want to be a consultant forever. You want to own outcomes, not just hand off recommendations and walk away. You're comfortable with the messiness of building, and you're not precious about your title. - A passion for iGaming is non-negotiable: this is not a general consumer tech role. We need someone who personally plays poker, bets on sports, or has a serious intellectual interest in gambling products. If you've spent weekends grinding poker tournaments or modeling NFL spreads, we want to talk. BONUS POINTS IF - You're crypto-native or have strong working knowledge of Web3 and on-chain consumer products. - You've worked client engagements in gaming, marketplaces, fintech, or consumer subscription at your firm. - You've previously made an internal lateral from consulting into a product, strategy, or operating role — even as an internship or short-term assignment. WHAT YOU GET - A foundational seat in a 0-to-1 build of a category-defining product, with one of crypto's best-funded teams (Sequoia, Paradigm, Electric Capital, Lightspeed) - Competitive base salary, equity, and token allocation - Cash bonus eligibility tied to company performance - Fully remote, flexible PTO - Comprehensive health, dental, and vision plans - Wellness and work-from-home allowance
Lead Product Designer, Sportsbook
From $180/yr
Magic Eden became one of the fastest companies in history to reach unicorn status, just 9 months after launch. Built on a foundation of crypto-native expertise and in-house engineering, we moved fast and proved the model. Now we’re taking that same energy into the next chapter: Dicey, our crypto casino and sportsbook platform targeting the $180B+ iGaming and sports betting markets. About the Role We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Lead Product Designer to help shape the future of our platform. This is a role for a senior practitioner who is passionate about both mentoring a talented team of designers and contributing directly to key design initiatives. You will drive our design strategy, foster a culture of excellence, and lend your own craft to our most impactful projects. The Mission As a key part of this role, you will be the lead designer for our new sports betting platform 🎲. This is a rare opportunity to re-envision how the traditional sports industry operates by building crypto-specific products to support these use cases. Think of this as a unique opportunity to completely rebuild the consumer stack using crypto. Many of these will be brand new experiences that will require a designer to push the boundaries of what is possible. Great candidates will be genuinely excited about sports, and a passion for sports betting is a significant plus. You'll bring a basic understanding of crypto and a proven track record of creating best-in-class consumer experiences. This is a unique opportunity to build and shape a design function while staying deeply connected to the craft. Applicants must submit a design portfolio showcasing exceptional hands-on design work and their ability to lead projects. Responsibilities - Act as the primary hands-on designer for our sports betting platform, helping translate unique protocol work and novel concepts into intuitive and engaging user experiences. - Define and drive the overall product design vision and strategy for our sports suite, ensuring it aligns with business objectives and user needs. - Lead the design of major features and contribute directly with hands-on work including user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes. - Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering leadership to align on roadmaps, prioritize efforts, and ensure a high-quality, cohesive user experience. - Elevate the team through mentorship, fostering a culture of excellence through direct feedback, design critiques, and sharing best practices in craft. - Establish and refine design processes (e.g., reviews, user research) that fit our fast-paced environment and empower the team to do their best work. What You Bring - 8+ years of experience in product design, with a proven track record of operating at a senior level (e.g., Senior, Lead, or Principal) with experience mentoring other designers. - A basic understanding of crypto is required. You should have a foundational grasp of the space (e.g., how wallets or transactions work) and a curiosity to learn how to design for decentralized platforms. - A deep enthusiasm for sports. A genuine passion for sports betting or the mechanics of sports markets is highly desirable. - A compelling portfolio showcasing both exceptional, recent hands-on design work and your ability to lead complex projects. Your portfolio should reflect a high degree of visual craft and strategic thinking. - A "builder" mindset, with a track record of operating with autonomy and thriving in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment. - Proven ability to lead projects that simplify highly complex concepts into delightfully simple and intuitive user experiences. - Expert proficiency in Figma and other modern design and prototyping tools. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and build consensus from the team level to the executive level.
