Job Description The Lead Data Analyst will lead the design, analysis, testing, and implementation of enterprise Data Warehouse solutions supporting Policy, Claims, Billing, Quotes, Agency, and related insurance data domains. Job requirements: * Partner with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into clear and concise analytical questions. * Develop accurate reports and dashboards efficiently, based on needs of stakeholders. * Automate reports and data extract extracts * Access, clean, and transform large datasets from various sources using SQL and data manipulation tools (e.g., Python libraries, Jupyter notebook). * Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies. * Develop and implement statistical models and reporting dashboards to visualize data insights. * Communicate complex data findings effectively through reports, presentations, and visualizations tailored to diverse audiences. * Generate data-driven recommendations to support informed decision-making across various business functions. * Stay up-to-date on emerging data analysis techniques and technologies, continuously seeking opportunities to improve data-driven processes. * Maintain a high level of data quality and ensure data integrity throughout the analysis process. * Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to access and integrate data as needed. * Document data analysis processes and methodologies for clear communication and knowledge transfer. Qualifications Qualification: * Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field. * SQL certificates/qualifications * Power Bi certificates/qualifications * Intermediate or advanced Excel certificates/ qualifications Knowledge/Experience: * Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar role. + Building insurance reports + Dashboarding + Datawarehouse structuring + Managing multiple parties * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proficiency in statistical methods and hypothesis testing. * Attention to detail * Experience with SQL queries and data manipulation tools (e.g., Jupyter notebooks, Python libraries like Pandas, NumPy). + Structuring specialised data requests + Maintaining current data scripts + Validating data sources to ensure correct data is being utilised * Building ad hoc reports on request of business including but not limited to: + Operational reports + Corporate Client and Employee Wellness report + Specialised client reports + Clinical reports (including clinical risk) + Executive and management reports * Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) to create clear and compelling presentations. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences. * A collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams. * Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
