What will you be working on? Design, build, and maintain high-performance, scalable tools and services utilizing Java, Kotlin, Spring Boot, cloud technologies, etc. Build account-level features, such as tax payments or savings account products, to cater for European markets. Collaborate with product managers to develop business requirements and turn them into technical solutions. We want engineers to be comfortable contributing to product development. Mentor junior engineers, offering technical guidance and conducting code reviews. Drive architectural decisions and technical strategy for Regional Expansion Tribe. Contribute to our engineering culture through knowledge sharing and best practices. Work with the product team on customer interviews for our markets, gather quantitative and qualitative data to better understand our customers and build solutions for them. Document and present data-driven results to product stakeholders, explaining and proposing strategies that align with the product’s risk appetite and business objectives. What do you need? Knowledge of Java and Spring Boot. Knowledge and experience with asynchronous messaging systems, such as Kafka. Experience working with relational databases, SQL query optimization, and schema design. A strong product mindset, prioritizing customer needs and making data-driven decisions. A strong sense of ownership and excellent communication skills to drive cross-team projects. Key Responsibilities Finance \& Accounts Oversee end-to-end finance and accounting functions, including finalization of accounts, audits, and reporting Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and working capital Ensure accurate and timely MIS for management and stakeholders Coordinate with statutory and internal auditors Taxation \& Compliance Handle Income Tax, GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances Manage assessments, notices, filings, and liaison with tax authorities Ensure compliance with applicable financial and regulatory requirements Support regulatory filings related to power sector entities and SPVs Regulatory \& Industry Matters Handle finance-related regulatory matters specific to the power / renewable energy sector Support compliance related to PPAs, DISCOMs, open access, and regulatory authorities Coordinate with consultants, legal teams, and external advisors as required IT \& Systems Oversight Oversee financial systems, ERP, accounting software, and IT infrastructure from a governance perspective Ensure data integrity, process efficiency, and system controls Support digitization and process improvement initiatives Leadership \& Coordination Work closely with senior management on financial strategy and decision-making Guide junior finance team members and ensure strong internal controls Coordinate with banks, lenders, consultants, and external stakeholders Desired Candidate Profile Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) 7+ years of hands-on experience in finance, accounts, and taxation Strong exposure to Income Tax, GST, regulatory and statutory matters Experience in power, renewable energy, or infrastructure sector preferred Sound understanding of financial controls, audits, and compliance Comfortable working in a growing organization with multiple projects/SPVs Strong analytical, coordination, and communication skills Why Join Us?
