SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Fringe Benefit GroupAustin, TX, USremote

JOB OVERVIEW The Software Engineer is a mid-to-senior, full-stack engineer responsible for designing, building, testing, and operating FBG’s .NET-based web applications across the front end, back end, and SQL Server data tier. This role sits a step above Application Support Engineer, expected to take ownership of meaningful features end-to-end and contribute to the team’s overall quality bar. Just as importantly, the modern Software Engineer at FBG is AI-fluent: comfortable directing, reviewing, and orchestrating large language models as a core part of the craft, with the higher-level systems thinking that the role now demands. The successful candidate is equally at home shipping their own code, acting as a QA / Test Engineer for changes authored by other engineers, and reasoning about systems above the level of any individual file. HOW WILL YOU DEMONSTRATE OUR VALUES AND POSITIVELY IMPACT OUR BUSINESS? DELIVER SERVICE Design, build, and ship full-stack features end-to-end across the front end, back end, and SQL Server data tier with minimal supervision. Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into pragmatic, well-scoped technical solutions, and resolve complex production issues quickly and effectively. Operate the systems you build. Own performance, reliability, and incident response for the components in your portfolio. ESPRIT DE CORPS Act as a QA / Test Engineer for changes authored by your peers by providing thorough code review, exploratory testing, and automated test coverage before merge. Pair with product, design, DevOps, and support to ship release-ready software, not just code that passes a build. Share patterns and review peers’ pull requests substantively, and foster a culture of knowledge sharing across teams and disciplines. BRING GUSTO Be AI-fluent: use LLMs and coding assistants as everyday tools, directing them effectively, validating their output, and orchestrating multi-step agentic workflows rather than simply writing code by hand. Stay current with the rapidly evolving AI tooling landscape, the .NET ecosystem, modern JavaScript frameworks, and SQL Server. Bring what you learn back to the team. Approach ambiguous problems with curiosity and a bias toward shipping. Prototype, measure, and iterate. BE EXPERTS Demonstrate strong, end-to-end working knowledge of the stack: C#, ASP.NET MVC / Web API, modern JavaScript and front-end frameworks, and SQL Server (T-SQL, schema design, indexing, and query tuning). Think at the systems level, contributing to architecture, data modeling, and integration decisions that hold up as the product grows. Become a trusted resource on FBG’s business context: benefits, health plan provisions, claims processes, and the regulatory environment we operate in. OWN IT Take a feature from requirements through design, implementation, testing, deployment, and post-launch support, and own the outcome. Continuously raise code quality, test coverage, and operational maturity, and pay down technical debt deliberately. Follow secure coding practices, contribute to change-management discipline, and help the team maintain the long-term health of the codebase. SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES 5+ years of hands-on experience designing, building, and supporting production .NET web applications. Strong full-stack proficiency: C# and ASP.NET MVC / Web API on the back end, plus modern JavaScript and at least one front-end framework (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue) on the front end. Deep SQL Server experience: schema design, T-SQL, stored procedures, indexing, and query performance tuning. Demonstrated AI fluency: day-to-day use of LLM-based coding assistants (e.g., Claude, Copilot, Cursor) and the judgment to direct, review, and correct their output. Strong testing instincts, with the ability to act as the QA / Test Engineer for another engineer’s pull request via code review, exploratory testing, and authoring meaningful automated tests. Comfort with monitoring, logging, and observability tooling (e.g., Application Insights, ELK, or equivalents) and using it to diagnose issues in production. Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to explain trade-offs to engineers and non-technical stakeholders alike. Self-directed: manages multiple priorities, makes sound trade-offs, and delivers without close supervision. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience. Microsoft, Azure, or other relevant certifications a plus but not required. ADDITIONAL DETAILS Business Travel: Travel is negligible Job Type: Full-time Location: Hybrid onsite in Austin, TX and remote Fringe Benefit Group provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.

Principal Product Manager, AI Products - Cisco Networking

CiscoAustin, TXonsite

From $225,000/yr

The application window is expected to close on: 06/30/2026 Job posting may be removed earlier if the position is filled or if a sufficient number of applications are received . Meet the Team Cisco ThousandEyes is a Digital Assurance platform that empowers organizations to deliver flawless digital experiences across every network - even the ones they don’t own. Powered by AI and an unmatched set of cloud, internet and enterprise network telemetry data, ThousandEyes enables IT teams to proactively detect, diagnose, and remediate issues - before they impact end- user experiences. ThousandEyes is deeply integrated across the entire Cisco technology portfolio and beyond, helping customers deploy at scale while also delivering AI-powered assurance insights within Cisco’s leading Networking, Security, Collaboration, and Observability portfolios. Your Impact We are seeking a Principal Product Manager to own the go-to-market strategy for AI-powered use cases across Cisco Networking and to aggregate intelligence across domains into a coherent product narrative that drives customer adoption and competitive differentiation. This role sits at the intersection of multiple AI product lines and networking platforms. The underlying use cases — troubleshooting, optimization, deployment, remediation — span business units and technologies. Your job is to curate the right use cases, synthesize intelligence from across the portfolio, and take that story to market: to customers, analysts, field sales, and Cisco leadership. Responsibilities * Own use case strategy: Curate and prioritize the use case portfolio across AI product lines. Decide what ships, what's deferred, and what matters to customers — not just what demos well. * Aggregate intelligence across domains: Synthesize adoption data, customer feedback, competitive signals, and engineering capabilities into a unified view of where Cisco's AI networking products stand and where they're headed. * Drive go-to-market: Own the GTM narrative for Cisco Networking's AI capabilities. Coordinate launches, availability programs, and customer enablement with GTM teams. Define positioning and messaging frameworks. * Shape external narrative: Author the product story for executive leadership, analyst engagements (Gartner, etc.), and customer-facing presentations. Own competitive differentiation and the Cisco Live strategy. * Define agent taxonomy and messaging: Frame how agentic capabilities are communicated externally — categories, composition, autonomy levels. Keep messaging grounded in what's shipping. * Bridge networking and central AI: Own the cross-BU relationship with Cisco's Central AI organization. Advocate for networking-specific requirements and ensure domain use cases are represented. * Drive customer adoption: Engage directly with enterprise customers to validate use cases, define adoption frameworks, and shape the path from early availability to general availability. * Build coalitions: Align stakeholders across GTM, field sales, analyst relations, CX, and engineering. Ensure the AI story is coherent across every audience. Qualifications * 10+ years of product management experience shipping enterprise/SaaS software products, ideally in networking, cloud, or monitoring. * Strong GTM instincts — you turn technical capabilities into customer-facing stories that sell. Experience with field sales, analyst relations, and marketing. * Experience with AI/ML technologies — large language models, agentic architectures, multi-agent systems. You know what's real vs. what's hype. * Ability to synthesize across multiple product lines and domains into a unified narrative and prioritized roadmap. * Excellent written and verbal communication — you can brief a Gartner analyst, a CIO, and engineering leadership in the same week. * Experience navigating matrixed organizations and building coalitions across competing priorities. * Strong ownership. You organize the meetings, write the first draft, and make the call. * Bachelor's degree in CS, engineering, or equivalent. Advanced degree is a plus. Why Cisco? Principal Product Manager

OsanoAustin, TXonsite

$160,733 - $220,849/yr

About Osano: Osano is an innovative B-Corporation built around a simple belief: privacy is a fundamental right. Since day one, we've been focused on giving modern enterprises the ability to innovate quickly, stay competitive, and earn customer trust by respecting data privacy and complying with consent guidelines. Our products help organizations operate confidently in a rapidly evolving regulatory and technological landscape. About the Role: * We're looking for a Principal Product Manager to own and drive one or more strategic product areas within Osano's platform. * This is not a traditional roadmap-coordination role. This is a high-ownership, execution-focused position for someone who wants to operate like a mini-GM for a product area — balancing customer needs, product strategy, engineering alignment, operational rigor, and business outcomes. * This role has two major dimensions: Part 1 — Product Ownership You will fully own a product area, including roadmap prioritization, continuous delivery, and ensuring Engineering has complete clarity around what is being built, why it matters, and sequencing priorities. Part 2 — Principal-Level Operational Leadership As a Principal PM, you will help raise the bar across the Product organization by improving consistency, mentoring peers through influence, and helping shape how product development operates at Osano as we scale in an increasingly AI-native environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, moves decisively, embraces ownership, and prefers building and shipping over process-heavy product management. Responsibilities: Product Ownership \& Execution * Own roadmap, prioritization, and execution for one or more strategic product areas * Operate with accountability for product outcomes, delivery quality, and execution consistency * Define and execute 6–12 month roadmaps aligned with company objectives and customer needs * Drive continuous shipping and iterative delivery with a strong bias toward learning and execution * Ensure Engineering teams have clear understanding of priorities, sequencing, customer value, and business impact * Partner closely with Engineering to maintain a predictable, high-quality release cadence * Lead agile product development using Scrum, Kanban, or similar frameworks Cross-Functional Leadership * Partner closely with Engineering, Design, GTM, and Executive Leadership to align priorities and execution * Communicate product strategy, tradeoffs, and roadmap decisions clearly across stakeholders * Drive alignment in ambiguous or rapidly changing situations * Help teams make decisive, informed product decisions even when data is incomplete Operational Leadership \& Product Excellence * Raise the bar for product quality, consistency, and operational rigor across the Product organization * Mentor and influence Product peers without direct management responsibility * Help improve prioritization discipline, delivery practices, and product operating consistency * Bring structure and clarity to fast-moving product initiatives AI \& Innovation * Aggressively incorporate AI-native workflows into discovery, prioritization, product operations, and execution * Leverage AI and agentic tools to improve team efficiency and product development velocity * Partner with Engineering to adapt product practices for an AI-accelerated development environment * Evaluate opportunities and risks introduced by rapidly evolving AI capabilities and technologies About You: * You are energized by fast-moving environments where ownership and execution matter more than hierarchy * You operate with urgency while maintaining strong judgment and product quality * You are highly adaptable and comfortable navigating ambiguity * You think like a business owner, not just a roadmap manager * You are decisive and action-oriented, even when information is incomplete * You communicate clearly and create alignment across technical and non-technical teams * You are curious, open-minded, and excited by emerging technologies — especially AI * You actively seek feedback and help elevate those around you * You prefer building, learning, and shipping over excessive process Must-Haves: * 8–10+ years of Product Management experience in B2B SaaS or ISV environments * Proven experience operating as a senior individual contributor with ownership over a product line or major product area * Strong track record operating in high-velocity environments with continuous or weekly release cadences * Experience building and executing 6–12 month product roadmaps * Strong partnership experience with Engineering teams on technical SaaS products * Strong understanding of APIs, SDKs, integrations, distributed systems, and SaaS architecture concepts * Clearly demonstrate how you have questioned, learned and used AI in the last 24 months to reinvent your product craft. * Ability to think strategically while operating hands-on within execution details * Demonstrated ability to forecast product risks, delivery bottlenecks, and operational challenges ahead of time * Experience mentoring or influencing Product peers without direct management authority * Confidence using AI tools and workflows to improve product execution and decision-making Nice-to-Haves: * Experience in privacy, security, governance, integrations, middleware, or data platform domains * Familiarity with event-driven systems or platform-oriented SaaS environments * Experience prototyping or experimenting using modern AI tooling * Experience scaling product practices in high-growth SaaS organizations Why Us: * We're a welcoming team that's dependable, curious, moves fast, and full of talented people * We're a B-corporation with a mission that matters, in a high-growth space with significant potential * You'll have the opportunity to become a privacy expert, by your Certified Information Privacy Manager credential * You'll have access to our training program, well-defined career paths, and a leadership team that values professional development Benefits: * Competitive-pay compensation and ownership interest/equity * Unlimited paid time off, plus a requirement to take at least two weeks off per year * We're a Best Place for Working Parents and offer paid parental leave for all new parents * Osano sponsors individual premiums on base plans at 100% and dependent premiums at 50% for Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance via Aetna * A fully and permanently remote company so you can work from anywhere in the U.S. * Receive a MacBook and $600 to craft your home workspace * Annual company trip designed to foster connection, creativity, and fun * Mental health benefits with free memberships to mindfulness and talk therapy services A Bit More
