Product Designer

ParisFrom $25/yr

At Parallel, we build AI agents to help healthcare facilities automate their administrative processes and unlock additional revenue, starting with medical coding. Today, up to 25% of healthcare spending is lost in manual, repetitive administrative work. Legacy software hasn’t helped, it’s made things slower, more complex, and more frustrating for care teams. We believe AI agents can change that. Our technology combines Large Language Models with system-level automation to handle real work inside existing hospital tools. No integrations, no disruption. Our first agent automates coding workflows and frees up time for medical staff to focus on patients. We launched in 2024, are backed by top investors (Index, Frst, Y Combinator, Hexa, Kima Ventures, Better Angle), and we’re just getting started. The future of healthcare isn’t just digital — it’s automated. Come help us build it ! Context We’re looking for a Product Designer to join our first Designer on Parallel’s design: the app used every day by hospital coding teams, as well as the brand. You’ll work daily with Product Managers, Engineers and the Ops team. You’ll work on complex, domain-specific topics, with demanding users. Your mission Own product improvements end to end, including some product management: understand the need, frame and define the problem, prioritize, design the solution, then follow it through to production. You own the whole chain, from the need to delivery. Design the app’s interfaces, from user flows to final UI. Prototype quickly, including by coding with tools like Claude or Cursor when that’s the most efficient way. Push code to production. Contribute to branding. Who you are You have 4 to 7 years of experience. You have experience as a strongly product-minded Product Designer, gained in a B2B SaaS startup or scale-up. You have high standards for the visual quality of interfaces. You can take on product management topics. You want to work on the brand as well. You use tools like Claude or Cursor to speed up your work. Our values Play to Win: we don’t aim for “good enough”. We go for results, move fast and fully commit when it matters. High Trust, High Standards: trust is our starting point. The more autonomy we give, the higher the bar. Low Ego, Hands-On: no one is above the work that needs doing, whatever their title or experience. Don’t Take Yourself Too Seriously: we take our mission very seriously, without taking ourselves too seriously. Hiring process First call with the recruiting team (30 min) Interview with Théo, about your portfolio or past experience (30 min) Case study and meetings at our Paris office Reference checks Offer Why should you join us? Real impact: our agents free hospital teams from administrative work. A role that shapes the product: your work goes straight into the app hospitals use. Competitive compensation: salary and equity (BSPCE). A great place to work: bright offices in Paris, regular team moments and two offsites a year. Full benefits: health insurance, meal vouchers, transport coverage, training and wellbeing budgets. We care about who you are, not just what's on your CV. If you're drawn to what we're building but don't meet every requirement, we still want to hear from you. Studies show that women in particular tend to apply only when they meet 100% of the criteria. If that's you, please don't let that hold you back. We'd love to receive your application. Find Jobs in France on Arbeitnow

Ops Associate

The role At Parallel, we work with a team of 25+ freelance TIMs (medical information technicians) on different tasks, in particular retrieving medical documents from our partner facilities’ software. This is a core part of Parallel. With fast, secure access to our partner facilities’ data, we code the first hospital stays within a few days and prove Parallel’s ROI. Then we automate document extraction so we can scale. As Ops Associate, you support the Ops team on managing freelancers and on cross-functional Ops projects. You take ownership of critical operational topics end to end and contribute directly to Parallel’s growth. You work daily with our Head of Ops, the Deployment Strategists, Customer Care and our freelance TIMs. You’re in charge of staffing and managing our network of freelance TIMs and become their main point of contact, working directly with our Head of Ops. You also work on cross-functional projects that structure Ops as Parallel scales. It’s a chance to see first-hand how a generative AI solution is deployed in hospitals, and to experience a startup’s scale-up from the inside. What you’ll do Staffing and management of freelance TIMs You’re responsible for the network of freelance TIMs who support our clients. You make sure the right person is on the right assignment, at the right time, within a compliant framework. Sourcing and recruiting : identify, qualify and recruit new TIMs based on needs (specialties, facilities, volume). Staffing assignments : assign TIMs to client accounts, anticipate workload peaks and manage priorities. Onboarding : train new TIMs on the Parallel tool and our ways of working. Monitoring : centralize assignment tracking and manage the team’s performance. Contracts and compliance : keep freelance contracts up to date, in line with our ISO 27001 and HDS requirements (data access, confidentiality). Cross-functional Ops projects You support the Ops team on cross-functional projects to make processes more robust and scalable. For example, you could: Compliance and security : contribute to the ISO 27001 and HDS certification project on the Ops side (registers, evidence, access reviews, contracts). Processes and documentation : keep client training notes up to date and improve internal playbooks (deployment, support). Who we’re looking for You’re looking for your first permanent job, or possibly an end-of-studies internship (with the goal of staying with us on a permanent contract). You’re rigorous: you organize yourself, prioritize, and follow your topics through to the end. You have strong people skills: you can adapt to profiles very different from yours, explain technical topics and bring a team along. You’re comfortable in a tech environment and like understanding how software works so you can help others use it. You’re autonomous: when you’re given an assignment, you figure out how to set up the right processes and resources to get it done. Why join us? Real impact : our agents free hospital teams from administrative work. A central role : you work with Ops, Product, Tech and the field teams. Room to grow : we’re hiring for this role to help someone grow with us over time. The right time : Series A closed, product already used by ~100 hospitals, a fast-growing team. The package : Alan health insurance, Swile, Apple equipment, 50% of transport covered, a team event every month and two off-sites a year. Our offices : Paris 2nd arrondissement, boulevard de Sébastopol. The process Call with Léa, Talent Lead (30 min) Call with Clémentine, Head of Ops and your future manager (30 min) Case study with Clémentine and Jules and meeting with Paul, CEO Offer We care about who you are, not just what's on your CV. If you're drawn to what we're building but don't meet every requirement, we still want to hear from you. Studies show that women in particular tend to apply only when they meet 100% of the criteria. Engineering Manager

ParisFrom $20/yr

Context Parallel closed a $20M Series A with Index Ventures, is deployed in 40+ hospitals, and is scaling fast. Founders Paul Lafforgue (Polytechnique, ex-Meta, ex-McKinsey) and Chris Rydahl (who previously built Hublo, Europe's largest healthcare staffing platform) are based in Paris with the team. Our tech team is 10 people today, all reporting directly to the CTO — and it will double by 2027. A flat structure got us here, now we need managers who stay close to the code to get us there. The team is organized in streams, each run by a PM and a Stream Owner: Coding, Extraction, and Activity (activity steering, dashboarding, and our assistant products). Your mission Directly manage the engineers of your stream (AI Engineers, Software Engineers, Forward Deployed Engineers): 1:1s, feedback, growth, performance. Own a stream end to end as its Stream Owner: drive its technical direction and delivery with your PM. Be a hands-on leader. Expect roughly 50% hands-on / 50% management — a bit more hands-on in your first months. Be responsible for your squad's tech culture: code quality, rituals, standards, knowledge sharing. Onboard new engineers and be the relay when the team changes hands. Work daily with PMs, Ops and the other Stream Owners to keep priorities aligned. Outcomes In your first months, you are a trusted Stream Owner: you know your stream's code, clients and roadmap inside out. Your team ships reliably and at pace, and every engineer knows what's expected of them and how they're growing. New hires are productive fast, thanks to the onboarding and culture you put in place. Over time, your role grows beyond one stream: you help shape how the whole tech org scales. This job is for you if You have 5+ years of experience, including at least 2 years managing an engineering team. You've managed 4–5+ people and owned both their performance and the people side (feedback, growth, tough conversations). Your background is strong full-stack software engineering or data — and you still love building. You've worked in startups or scale-ups and thrive in a fast, high-ownership environment. You see management as a way to have more impact, not as a title: you're happy to own a stream and write code. You are autonomous and pragmatic: done beats perfect at this stage. You are French-speaking. Hiring process A quick call with our recruiter (30 min) A conversation with Chris, our CTO (30 min) A case study at our Paris office, covering both management and technical judgment. combined with a meeting with Paul, our CEO. (2h in total + preperation) Reference checks Why should you join us? Real traction: Seed and Series A closed in under a year, with Index Ventures on the cap table. A problem worth solving: cutting hospital admin gives time back to care teams. A different technical approach: agents that work on existing systems without heavy integration. A team that has done it before: the founders built and scaled Hublo, and worked at Meta and McKinsey. High standards, low ego. Real ownership: you'll be our first Engineering Manager and shape how the tech team scales from 10 to 20+. Competitive salary and equity, premium health insurance (Alan), Swile meal vouchers, latest Apple equipment, and an office in Paris (Strasbourg Saint-Denis). Deployment Strategist

ParisFrom $25/yr

Our first agent automates coding workflows and frees up time for medical staff to focus on patients. We launched in 2024, are backed by top investors (Index, Frst, Y Combinator, Hexa, Kima Ventures, Better Angle), and we’re just getting started. The future of healthcare isn’t just digital — it’s automated. Come help us build it ! Context Parallel is an AI-powered platform that helps hospitals code medical acts faster and more accurately. We're a small, fast-moving team building a product that's already live in hospitals — and we're scaling. Until now, the Operations team has been handling everything: client onboarding, customer success, internal process building, and analytics. We're growing fast, and we need someone who can take full ownership of a client portfolio and help us structure our ops for the next stage. Your mission As our new Ops, you'll work hand in hand with Clémentine (Operations Manager) to deliver a best-in-class experience to our hospital clients and internal coders — from day one of onboarding to long-term success. You'll also contribute to building the operational backbone that lets Parallel scale without losing quality. Concretely, you will : Own the onboarding and follow-up of a portfolio of 30+ clients (hospitals and internal coders), ensuring smooth adoption and top-tier support Build and maintain scalable CS processes, tools and routines to monitor client satisfaction and usage Leverage data to identify bottlenecks and opportunities across client workflows and internal coding operations Act as the key link between clients and our Product & Tech teams — translating field insights into actionable priorities Outcomes At 6 months, you will have : Independently managed a portfolio of clients end-to-end, with no escalation needed for standard situations Deployed and trained new clients without Clémentine's direct involvement Identified and implemented 1 to 2 process improvements on internal ops (tracking, dashboards, workflows) Established yourself as a trusted point of contact for both clients and internal teams You are : Autonomous and structured. You manage your workload without being told what to do next. You build your own tracking systems, follow up proactively, and close loops without being reminded. Hands-on and pragmatic. You'd rather ship an imperfect solution and iterate than wait for the perfect framework. You figure things out. Analytically sharp. You don't rely on gut feel alone — you look at the data, spot patterns, and propose concrete actions. A strong communicator in French. You've dealt with clients before. You know how to adapt your tone whether you're talking to a hospital DG or a medical coder, without changing your substance. Genuinely curious about product, AI, or healthcare — or all three. This job is for you if : You have 2–4 years of experience in a startup, consulting firm, or project management role You've managed client relationships directly — and you're comfortable being the face of a company You thrive when there's no playbook yet and see that as an opportunity, not a problem You want to join a small team at a pivotal moment and have a real impact on how we operate Hiring process Quick call with Wallerand (talent) Call with Clémentine, Operations Manager Case study in our Paris office (with Paul & Clémentine) Final meeting with Paul, CEO Fast, no fluff. We'll give you clear feedback at every step. Why should you join us ? You'll work on a product that's already live and used daily in French hospitals — real impact, fast You'll have full ownership from day one — no micro-management, no hand-holding You'll be embedded in a tight-knit team where your work is visible and your voice matters You'll learn across ops, analytics, product and client management simultaneously Clear path to Lead Ops at 24 months as we structure the team into verticals Flexibility: on average one day of remote work per week, and one remote week per year We care about who you are, not just what's on your CV. If you're drawn to what we're building but don't meet every requirement, we still want to hear from you. Studies show that women in particular tend to apply only when they meet 100% of the criteria. If that's you, please don't let that hold you back. We'd love to receive your application. Find more English Speaking Jobs in France on Arbeitnow
