Legal Engineer, Tax & Audit

ParisFrom $200/yr

About Us Legora is redefining how legal work gets done. Not built for lawyers, built with them. We work alongside the world’s best legal teams, who expect excellence, precision, and speed, and we hold ourselves to the same bar. Our AI-native workspace lets legal professionals move faster, think more clearly, and operate with sharper precision. By analysing thousands of documents in minutes and powering end-to-end workflows, we cut through complexity, teams can focus on what matters: judgment, strategy, and outcomes. 2,100+ customers across 80+ countries trust us, including Cleary Gottlieb, Goodwin, Linklaters, White & Case, Dentons, and Barclays. We’ve scaled to $200M+ in ARR , with teams across Europe, North America and APAC, and continue to expand through acquisitions including Qura, Walter AI, Graceview, Cadastral, and Wexler. We partner with world-class performers: including Aaron Judge and the New York Yankees, Ludvig Åberg (and his caddie), and campaigns featuring Jude Law. Joining Legora means three things. We lean in: ownership over titles, outcomes over intentions. We fight for excellence: high standards, direct, ego-free feedback. We grow together: as a team and with our customers. Mission before ego. Everyone contributes. No one coasts. If you’re driven by impact, pace, and raising the bar. This is the place. What you’ll be doing Let’s get the tricky part out of the way: this role doesn’t fit neatly into a traditional box. It combines tax or audit expertise, product knowledge, client relationships and practical implementation. As a Legal Engineer in our Paris team, you’ll help tax and audit professionals put AI to work in their day-to-day practice. You’ll work with clients from the first demonstration through pilots, onboarding and wider adoption, understanding what they need and building workflows that hold up in real engagements. Some of what you’ll be doing: Understand the work. Work with tax partners, audit leaders and their teams to identify where Legora can make a meaningful difference, from tax research and advisory to evidence review and audit documentation. Build and test workflows. Translate client needs into working use cases, check outputs against source material and professional standards, and refine the approach with the people using it. Run demonstrations and training. Lead clear, practical sessions grounded in the client’s own work, adapting your approach for practitioners, partners and innovation teams. Own pilots and rollouts. Agree what success looks like, keep stakeholders and timelines aligned, and help teams move from initial experimentation to regular use. Support commercial conversations. Work alongside Go-to-Market and Customer Success colleagues to demonstrate value, address objections and identify opportunities to expand adoption across teams and service lines. Help improve the product. Bring client needs and product gaps back to Product and Engineering with clear examples and enough evidence to act on. Make good work reusable. Turn successful engagements into templates, guides and playbooks that colleagues and clients can use again. What you bring You come from tax, audit, assurance or a closely related advisory practice. You may have trained at a Big Four firm, worked at another professional services firm, or built your experience in an in-house function. Perhaps you’ve already moved into innovation, technology implementation or consulting. You understand the pressure of client deadlines, the importance of defensible conclusions and how much work sits behind a finished report or piece of advice. You also have ideas about how that work could be done better. You’ll thrive in this role if you: Have practical experience in tax or audit and can discuss the work credibly with experienced practitioners. You don’t need to be a specialist in both. Are genuinely curious about generative AI and enjoy learning new tools. You don’t need to be a software engineer or have held a Legal Engineering role before. Communicate clearly, whether you’re explaining a technical concept, leading a workshop or handling a difficult question from a partner. Can organize a engagement, keep commitments, and flag problems early Understand the commercial realities of professional services, including engagement economics, client expectations and the balance between speed and quality. Take initiative, respond well to feedback and learn quickly when faced with an unfamiliar problem. Communicate fluently in French and English. Are based in Paris, or willing to relocate, and able to work from the office five days per week. A few more things You’ll join a growing Tax & Audit team with room to shape how we work. There is real autonomy and responsibility, alongside colleagues who will challenge your thinking and help you develop. We’re hiring across seniority levels. Whether you’re earlier in your career or bring substantial experience, we’d like to hear from you. Your title and scope will reflect your experience and what you demonstrate during the hiring process. If you know tax or audit and want to help build how technology is used in the profession, we’d like to meet you. Legora is an Equal Opportunity Employer At Legora, we believe great teams are built on diversity of thought and experience. We’re proud to be an equal opportunity employer and committed to creating an inclusive, high-performance culture where everyone can do their best work. Engagement Manager SMB

About the role The way legal work gets done is changing, and Engagement is at the center of that transformation. We're looking for an experienced, strategic Engagement Manager to join our growing team and help a large portfolio of law firms and corporate legal teams fundamentally change the way they work with Legora. This is a role for someone who has developed and executed a scaled customer motion, and who knows that transformation across a large portfolio of clients has to be designed, automated and measured. You will drive adoption, technical health and commercial outcomes of your portfolio end-to-end by leveraging systems and technology while reserving high-touch interactions for the most impactful moments. You will be critical as we continue to build a best-in-class adoption program at Legora, helping clients realize measurable ROI, expand successful use cases and transform the way their teams work. What You'll Do: You'll own the post-sale motion end-to-end for a large portfolio of law firms and corporate legal teams across our EMEA scaled portfolio. Specifically, you will: Improve the scaled adoption playbook: the tech-led onboarding, enablement, and change-management motions and target outcomes for how our scale customers adopt Legora and transform the way they work. Execute against that playbook, sequencing automated touchpoints and interventions from initial rollout to firm-wide adoption and adapting as the client's needs and Legora's capabilities evolve. Facilitate strategic touchpoints with your highest stakes accounts, while using one-to-many enablement to surface high-impact opportunities and guide the rest of the portfolio toward maximum value from Legora. Drive sustained value through a programmatic operating cadence: templated success plans, one-to-many enablement, scaled training and digital value reviews. Manage the health of the portfolio by monitoring adoption and utilization signals in our internal systems to proactively flag and act on risks and growth opportunities. Own the commercials for the scaled program end-to-end by running renewal and expansion as repeatable motions informed by exquisite portfolio hygiene, forecasting, and data utilization. Orchestrate engagement across cross-functional teams (Product, Legal Engineering, Engineering, Product Marketing, Support) to accelerate client success, maintaining end-to-end portfolio context and coordination. Translate scaled customer feedback into action by collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, and Product Marketing to inform roadmap, positioning, and enablement, and to represent the voice of the scaled segment. What You Bring You care deeply about customer outcomes and you know that transformation at scale has to be designed, automated and measured. You're proactive, systems-minded and comfortable making tradeoffs about where to intervene and where to let technology do the work. You take pride in being the reason customers adopt, grow and succeed. We’re looking for: A scaled customer success, renewal management, or customer education background, with a demonstrated track record of designing and delivering programs that serve large customer bases. Experience building repeatable adoption playbooks and educational programs and delivering them at scale across digital channels. 3+ years for Manager, 5+ years for Senior Manager, in scaled or digital customer success, customer operations, account management, or a related field, ideally with exposure to high-growth B2B AI verticals or Legal Tech. Leveling will depend on specific experience and fit for the segment. A track record of driving adoption, retention and expansion with a high-volume portfolio of clients. Ownership of a commercial number: you have carried GRR and NRR for a portfolio and run renewal and expansion yourself as repeatable motions, hitting the thresholds by leveraging data and automation. Technical fluency and systems thinking: you're comfortable configuring and deploying tooling (CS and CRM platforms, AI agents, LMS, data visualization platforms) to deliver outcomes. Data fluency and a metrics-driven approach to customer health, forecasting and portfolio strategy at scale. Exceptional program, project and prioritization skills; you keep many clients and multi-workstream initiatives moving concurrently. Excellent French and English communication skills — written, verbal, and interpersonal. High EQ: you know when to listen, when to advise and when to act. A love of fast-paced, early-stage environments where you help build the playbook, not just follow it. What we offer: The opportunity to join and grow within Legora’s SMB post-sale engagement team in EMEA. A role with real ownership of customer outcomes and visibility across product, go-to-market, and support functions. Collaboration with leadership and cross-functional teams to build systems that shape customer outcomes. A fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where excellence is rewarded, and growth is exponential. Competitive compensation, meaningful equity participation, and an office designed for focus and high performance. Legora is an Equal Opportunity Employer At Legora, we believe great teams are built on diversity of thought and experience. We’re proud to be an equal opportunity employer and committed to creating an inclusive, high-performance culture where everyone can do their best work.
