People Operations Specialist

UForceEu, N, FR

UFORCE exists to make aggression unaffordable. Founded in Ukraine and headquartered in London, UFORCE is a defence-technology company with operations across Europe, the United States and Asia. UFORCE builds uncrewed vessels, ground robotics and aircraft, autonomy software, and the command-and-control layer that operates them together. Each platform is deployable on its own, and stronger as part of the system. Its product lines include the MAGURA family of uncrewed surface vessels, the NEMESIS family of strike platforms, the LIUT family of ground robotic platforms, and counter-UAS systems. About the role We're looking for a People Operations Specialist to help keep day-to-day People operations reliable, responsive and well organised as UFORCE grows. You'll support employees across the employee lifecycle by answering everyday questions, coordinating onboarding, handling employment verifications and background checks, and keeping employee records and documentation accurate and up to date. You won't be expected to know every process on day one. Working with the People Operations Lead, you'll learn our systems and workflows, take ownership of agreed routine tasks and know when to ask for guidance. Alongside daily operations, you'll contribute to projects that improve the employee experience and make our processes work better. This is an early-career role for someone with 2–3 years of HR or Talent experience who is proactive, detail-oriented and ready to build broader People Operations expertise. The role is fully remote, based in Ukraine or the EU. You'll report to the People Operations Lead. What you'll do * Be a day-to-day point of contact for employee People-related questions — providing clear, helpful responses, tracking requests and escalating unfamiliar or sensitive matters. * Coordinate onboarding with Talent, hiring managers, IT and other partners, keeping checklists and handoffs on track so new hires are ready for day one. * Handle employment verification requests using established procedures, with careful attention to accuracy and confidentiality. * Coordinate background checks, administer the provider's platform and follow up on outstanding cases, escalating findings to authorised decision-makers. * Maintain employee records in our HR systems, checking data, updating information and keeping documentation organised. * Prepare and maintain routine employee documentation under the People Operations Lead's guidance. * Keep trackers and process guides current, follow up on open tasks and flag delays or gaps before they become bigger issues. * Contribute to employee-lifecycle projects by helping improve workflows, refreshing documentation, and delivering agreed project tasks. * Work closely with the People and Talent teams and cross-functional partners to keep everyday operations moving. Required Skills * 2–3 years of experience in HR and/or Talent, with hands-on involvement in coordination, employee or candidate support, and administrative processes. * Strong organisation and attention to detail: you can manage competing tasks, maintain clear trackers and check records and documents carefully. * A proactive approach to work: anticipate next steps, follow up without repeated reminders and flag issues early. * Clear, empathetic communication and a service mindset: keep people informed and handle questions thoughtfully. * A willingness to learn unfamiliar systems and processes, ask thoughtful questions and apply feedback. * Good judgment around confidential information and knowing when to involve your manager rather than guess. * Confidence using spreadsheets and digital tools, with the ability to learn HR systems. Nice to have * Experience in a startup or fast-growing company. * Exposure to onboarding coordination, HRIS/ATS administration, employment verifications or background-check platforms. * Experience supporting distributed or international teams. * Some working-hours overlap with US Eastern Time. The nature of combat has changed. Tomorrow’s battlefield success depends on autonomy, speed, and adaptability. And UFORCE is ready. Are You?

LegoraLondon

From $200/yr

About Us Legora is redefining how legal work gets done. Not built for lawyers, built with them. We work alongside the world’s best legal teams, who expect excellence, precision, and speed, and we hold ourselves to the same bar. Our AI-native workspace lets legal professionals move faster, think more clearly, and operate with sharper precision. By analysing thousands of documents in minutes and powering end-to-end workflows, we cut through complexity, teams can focus on what matters: judgment, strategy, and outcomes. 2,100+ customers across 80+ countries trust us, including Cleary Gottlieb, Goodwin, Linklaters, White & Case, Dentons, and Barclays. We’ve scaled to $200M+ in ARR , with teams across Europe, North America and APAC, and continue to expand through acquisitions including Qura, Walter AI, Graceview, Cadastral, and Wexler. We partner with world-class performers: including Aaron Judge and the New York Yankees, Ludvig Åberg (and his caddie), and campaigns featuring Jude Law. Joining Legora means three things. We lean in: ownership over titles, outcomes over intentions. We fight for excellence: high standards, direct, ego-free feedback. We grow together: as a team and with our customers. Mission before ego. Everyone contributes. No one coasts. If you’re driven by impact, pace, and raising the bar. This is the place. The Role Few companies at this stage have this much to design and build at once, and at scale! Rapid geographic expansion and the establishment of multiple legal entities place demands on our People function to keep pace. As a People Operations Specialist , you'll execute and continuously improve the operational processes that power every stage of the employee lifecycle as we grow. Reporting to the People Operations & People Program Lead, you'll work hands-on across Legora's core People function, partnering closely with People Partners, People Tech, Payroll, Legal and Finance. Our mission is to build operational excellence that enables the business to scale without creating unnecessary complexity. What You'll Do Execute and continuously improve core People Operations processes across the entire employee lifecycle with speed, accuracy and attention to detail. Own the day-to-day administration of onboarding, offboarding, employee changes, promotions, transfers, leave processes and organisational updates. Prepare documentation and employee records, ensuring every process is completed accurately and on time. Maintain high-quality employee data and ensure operational accuracy across all People processes. Build, document and maintain scalable operating procedures, playbooks and process documentation that enable consistent execution globally. Coordinate People Operations activities across multiple stakeholders, countries and time zones, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks. Identify manual work, operational inefficiencies and recurring issues, and propose and implement better ways of working. Partner closely with People Tech to improve operational workflows and prepare processes for automation, while leaving technical implementation to the People Tech team. Support international expansion, acquisitions and organisational changes by executing operational People processes at pace. Help establish operational metrics, monitor service quality and continuously raise the bar for operational excellence. What You Bring 5+ years of experience in People Operations, HR Operations or HR Administration in a fast-growing company. Exceptional attention to detail — you genuinely enjoy getting the operational details right. Strong administrative skills, with experience managing large volumes of employee lifecycle activities. Experience working with HR systems as a power user (rather than as a system administrator). Highly organised, with excellent prioritisation skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously. Comfortable working in an environment where priorities change quickly, without compromising quality. A continuous improvement mindset — you naturally look for ways to simplify, standardise and improve operational processes. Strong written documentation skills and the ability to create clear, repeatable operational procedures. Comfortable working independently, with a high degree of ownership and accountability. Experience building agents/agentic workflows as part of People processes is a plus. Legora is an Equal Opportunity Employer At Legora, we believe great teams are built on diversity of thought and experience. We’re proud to be an equal opportunity employer and committed to creating an inclusive, high-performance culture where everyone can do their best work. We welcome people of all backgrounds and don’t discriminate based on race, color, religion, national origin, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, disability, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
