Business Analyst - Must Reside in Tampa Bay Area

Position Summary: The Business Analyst will report to the Business Analyst Manager and work with a team of analysts in delivering data-driven insights and business solutions. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between business needs and technology, driving operational efficiency, and supporting key decision-making processes. The Business Analyst will possess a deep understanding of business analysis methodologies, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable strategies and visuals using PowerBI. Essential Skills And Abilities * Demonstrates strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. * Ability to analyze data using SQL Server databases or Snowflake and using SQL queries to identify and solve problems. * A quick learner with a strategic mindset and proven ability to identify issues, analyze data, and develop effective solutions. * Exceptional communication skills, including verbal and written communication abilities, with strong interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams and influence stakeholders. * Advanced technical proficiency, skilled in Microsoft excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to create compelling presentations and perform complex data analysis. * Data visualization \& reporting abilities, including experience in building and maintaining dashboards using Power BI, translating data into actionable insights for business leaders. * Ability to work with various business systems and tools, with a strong understanding of how data supports strategic decision-making. Responsibilites * Utilize SQL queries and Excel to compile and deliver monthly financial reports and key performance indicators to senior leadership. * Create reports, dashboards and visualizations using tools like SSRS and PowerBI * Evaluate and interpret data to develop business insights, projections, and recommendations that support executive decision-making. * Conduct analysis to verify the accuracy of healthcare claims and reimbursement processes * Respond to ad hoc projects involving research, data analysis, reporting, auditing, and documentation. * Partner with internal stakeholders across departments to align analytical outputs with business goal Education \& Experience * Bachelor’s degree; 4-year degree in related field required * Minimum of 2 years relevant healthcare and analytical experience preferred * Strong proficiency with SQL Server, SQL queries, Visual Studios and Power BI * Billing \& coding or Revenue Cycle knowledge a plus Orthopaedic Solutions Management is a Drug Free Workplace We are committed to maintaining a safe, healthy, and productive work environment.
