Ideal candidate will have 12+ years of full stack experience with an ability to work independently while coordinating with other team members and departments. Should conduct code, design, and process reviews, including code sampling design reviews, code profiling, unit test reviews and process adherence for source code control and builds. The project is starting afresh and therefore your contribution as a driven self-starter will be key to developing and leading a successful DevSecOps, Cloud framework. This also includes tackling the challenges of Federal security requirements while implementing the quality driven software practices to reduce manual toil. Responsibilities Establish system information requirements using analysis of the information engineer(s) in the development of enterprise-wide or large-scale information systems. Design architecture to include the software, hardware, and communications to support the total requirements as well as provide for present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces. Ensure these systems are compatible and in compliance with the standards for open systems architectures, the Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) and ISO reference models, and profiles of standards - such as Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) Open Systems Environment (OSE) reference model - as they apply to the implementation and specification of information management solution of the application platform, across the Application Program Interface (API), and the external environment/software application. Ensure that the common operating environment is compliant with the Agency enterprise architecture and applicable reference models. Evaluate analytically and systematically problems of workflows, organization, and planning and develop appropriate corrective action. Provide daily supervision and direction to staff. Required Experience 12+ years Java Development Experience Experience with Oracle JDK 1.8.XX, OpenJDK 11 Must have extensive experience working with Java/J2EE 8+ and Spring Proficient in data structure, algorithm, object-oriented design and multi-threading. Strong Expertise with back-end technologies: Java, open-source Java libraries (e.g. Apache Commons, Spring) Strong Expertise with HTTP-based web services and related technologies including JavaScript, HTTP, REST, JSON, and Soap/XML. Experience with databases and SQL. Experience with modern operating systems including UNIX and Windows Must have strong experience in working with Github Enterprise. Salary And Benefit Information The likely salary range for this position is $126,000- $220,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
