SRE DevOps Engineer

Role : SRE DevOps Engineer Location : Onsite\- Santa Clara, CA(local) Contract : 6 months\+ **Need strong candidate** STAFFXPERT is looking for an experienced SRE DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Kubernetes, CI/CD, Linux infrastructure, automation, and cloud/hybrid environments. Candidate should have excellent troubleshooting, communication, and production support experience with a strong DevOps/SRE background. **Job Description/ Responsibilities** Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools Deploy, manage, scale, and optimize Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads Support Linux\-based infrastructure across on\-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments Collaborate with Development and SRE teams for build, release, deployment, and operational activities Troubleshoot and resolve issues across CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes platforms, and infrastructure services Implement and promote DevOps best practices, security standards, and system performance optimization Develop automation workflows, operational tooling, and infrastructure orchestration solutions Support monitoring, alerting, logging, and observability platforms for proactive operations management Participate in root cause analysis (RCA), incident management, and continuous improvement initiatives Maintain clear technical documentation, operational procedures, and runbooks **Required Experience** 10\+ years of overall IT experience in DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering Strong hands\-on experience with Kubernetes cluster deployment, management, scaling, and troubleshooting Expertise in CI/CD pipeline design and automation using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools Strong Linux system administration and troubleshooting experience Experience supporting on\-premises, hybrid, and cloud\-based infrastructure environments Hands\-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes Experience with infrastructure automation, scripting, and orchestration tools Knowledge of monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability platforms Experience with incident management, RCA, and production support activities Strong understanding of DevOps best practices, system reliability, and security standards Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross\-functional teams
