Job Title Senior Research Analyst Job Description Summary The Senior Analyst reports to the Research Manager. The Senior Analyst is responsible for all local research output. This position provides support in developing pitch and/or proposal materials, as well as local thought leadership. The Senior Analyst is accountable for proactive and routine maintenance of proprietary and third-party databases. The position will serve as quality control auditor to ensure accuracy of reports, data and adherence to corporate standards. This position may specialize by property type. Job Description Responsibilities: * Track market metrics such as vacancy rates and absorption, interact with various departments and external clients, as well as produce high quality market publications and white papers * Serve as staff specialist for office market staying abreast of office leasing activity in support of leasing brokers * Create quarterly market reports to include written analysis, statistics and market activity, which may include drafting quarterly write-up * Manage quarterly report process and/or the production of other deliverables released by Research * Assist in project management to include coordinating with all parties involved in the production of a deliverable (marketing, graphics, etc.) * Author research papers to analyze the effects of business activities or public policies on commercial real estate * Present market overviews to clients as needed * Analyze indicators needed to generate a market forecast and make recommendations to the Director of Research * Oversee quarterly reporting process * Respond to staff inquiries for information by completing advanced research * Assist in the supervision of Research Analysts to include mentoring and training * Assist in providing nationwide data as needed, relating to non-office products such as retail, multi-family, industrial and hotel * Compile statistical data specific to client or service line by translating and converting data to graphs/tables/charts Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree; Industry related field of study preferred * 3+ years of real estate research or related business experience * Or any similar combination of education and experience * Power BI skills preferred * Experience in data entry/data management * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite * Strong data software applications skills * Ability to calculate and analyze key office metrics and indicators (vacancy, absorption, inventory, deliveries, ground breakings, cap rates, FAR, etc.) * Demonstrated ability to work independently to meet goals and objectives * Proven record of providing excellent internal and external customer service * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Effective listening and critical thinking skills Cushman \& Wakefield also provides eligible employees with an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health, vision, and dental insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life, and disability insurance programs, and paid and unpaid time away from work. We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support the implementation of a comprehensive research administration software suite at Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH). Our healthcare network is moving from disparate legacy systems to a single, integrated research administration platform. This system will encompass pre-award and post-award grants management, contracting, Institutional Review Board (IRB), Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC), Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC), and other research administration functions. The Senior Business Analyst will serve as a critical liaison between stakeholders and the technical implementation team, closely collaborating with the project sponsors, key stakeholders, and subject matter experts to ensure the solution meets institutional needs while supporting regulatory compliance and operational excellence. Post-implementation, this position will support the ongoing process improvement, system maintenance and adaptation, and training. Job Description Essential Responsibilities but not limited to: Requirements Gathering \& Analysis * Conduct interviews with key stakeholders across BILH hospital sites to understand current workflows and future-state requirements * Document and analyze existing processes from disparate legacy systems. * Translate business needs into detailed functional requirements. * Identify opportunities for process improvement, standardization, and consolidation as BILH transitions to a single system. System Configuration \& Design Support * Collaborate with technical teams and vendor consultants to configure the research administration suite to meet institutional requirements across the BILH network. * Participate in system design sessions to ensure workflows align with academic medical center operations and regulatory requirements. * Review and validate system configurations, integrations with existing systems (ERP, HR, finance, e.g. Workday, Epic, iLabs, etc.), and data migration strategies from multiple legacy platforms. * Support development of custom reports, dashboards, and analytics capabilities. Process Design \& Optimization * Map and document current and future-state business processes. * Ensure processes support compliance with federal regulations (NIH, NSF, FDA, OMB Uniform Guidance, etc.) and institutional policies. * Recommend process improvements that leverage system capabilities while maintaining regulatory compliance. Testing \& Quality Assurance * Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts for system functionality and integrations. * Coordinate and conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) with key stakeholder groups across the BILH network. * Document test results, track defects, and verify issue resolution. * Validate data accuracy following migration from multiple legacy systems. Stakeholder Communication \& Project Support * Maintain regular communication with project sponsors, steering committee members, implementation partners, and end users across BILH hospital sites. * Prepare status reports, presentations, and documentation for various audiences in accordance with the implementation communication plan. * Facilitate meetings and working sessions to drive decision-making and issue resolution. * Support project management activities including timeline tracking and risk identification. Required Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, or related field * 5-8 years of business analysis experience * Experience with enterprise software implementations or large-scale system projects * Proven ability to gather requirements, document processes, and translate business needs into technical specifications * Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills * Proficiency with process mapping tools and MS Office suite Preferred Qualifications * Experience in healthcare, higher education, or research administration environments * Familiarity with grants management, research compliance, or sponsored programs * Knowledge of research administration platforms (e.g., InfoEd, Cayuse, OnCore, CLICK) * Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) certification * Experience with Workday and/or other ERP system integrations Work Environment This position will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including IT, research administration, compliance, finance, and clinical departments across the BILH network.
