You don't wait to be told what to do and you don't come back with reasons why something can't be done * Fast and consistent — you ship good work without needing to be chased * Brand-minded — you understand the difference between making something that looks good and making something that builds a brand * Strong in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, and confident preparing files for print * Minimum 3 years in a design or creative role Favourable (not dealbreakers) * Motion, animation or video editing experience * Brand identity or design-system work (brand books, logo development) * App or web UI design experience * Experience in fintech, e-commerce or a fast-moving startup environment * Familiarity with social-first design formats How to apply: Send your CV, a link to your portfolio, and one paragraph on why this role is a good fit. Senior Product Designer

CadmusMelbourne, Victoria, Australia

The Cadmus platform shapes how millions of students and tens of thousands of academics experience assessment. That is a massive design challenge that goes well beyond wireframes; it requires taking dense institutional workflows and transforming them into interfaces that feel fluid, intentional, and beautiful. Cadmus is built on the proposition that design is the mechanism of academic integrity. When software is designed beautifully, users trust it implicitly and engage with it deeply. We believe that complex educational software shouldn’t look or feel like a legacy spreadsheet—it should possess the polish, tactility, and visual magic of the world's finest prosumer tools. We are looking for a Senior Product Designer who is a master of their digital craft. You are someone who bridges the gap between deep systems thinking and elite visual execution. You will own core platform areas end-to-end, raising the aesthetic and interaction bar across the entire Cadmus ecosystem. What Success Looks Like In your first year, you will have: * Elevated the product’s aesthetic and perceived value: You will lead the evolution of the Cadmus design system, introducing a level of visual polish, type hierarchy, and spatial layout that elevates the entire brand. The product won't just function better; it will look and feel premium. * Injected delight into dense academic workflows: You will take inherently dry workflows—like assessment grading, rubric creation, and analytics tracking—and turn them into visually stunning, tactile, and rewarding user experiences. * Ensured the "magic" survives production: You will work in lockstep with engineers to ensure that your exact visual intentions—from micro-interactions and transitions to precise border radiuses and padding—are implemented flawlessly in production. The gap between your Figma file and live code will approach zero. * Balanced high craft with pragmatic shipping: You raise the visual quality bar without relying on speculative, unbuildable concepts. You make deliberate trade-offs, delivering improvements that are both breathtakingly polished and highly practical to build. * Introduced user insights through a design lens: You conduct research that surfaces non-obvious insights about how students and academics interact with the UI, using those insights to solve complex usability problems beautifully. Requirements WHO YOU ARE Your Visual Craft \& Taste * 8+ years of experience designing complex SaaS, B2B2C, or premium prosumer digital products. * Impeccable visual taste. You obsess over the fundamentals: typography scales, precise grid systems, subtle gradients, drop shadows, intentional negative space, and responsive layout flows. * A portfolio that screams "execution." Your portfolio showcases live, shipped products that demonstrate incredible attention to detail, modern UI aesthetics, and micro-interactions. We want to see how your designs move, feel, and reacts Systems \& Interaction Design * A systems thinker who loves component architecture. You don't just build pages; you build living design systems. You care deeply about states, variables, tokens, and making a design system highly scalable for engineering. * Mastery of information architecture. You know how to bring clarity to data-dense interfaces without oversimplifying them or hiding utility behind endless dropdowns. Execution \& Collaboration * Strong product judgment. You know when to fight for a pixel-perfect interaction and when to make a deliberate trade-off to ship a feature. * Deep engineering alignment. You speak the language of front-end developers. You understand HTML/CSS behaviors, flexbox layouts, and technical constraints, and you use that knowledge to push the boundaries of what can be built beautifully. What This Role Is Not * Not a template or kit-bashing job: We aren't looking to just drop in a stock UI kit. We want a designer who brings bespoke visual excellence and unique creative flair to our product. * Not a concept-only or illustration role: You won’t be designing speculative, unbuildable concepts or marketing landing pages. You’re shipping functional, high-fidelity UI for a core application. * Not a standard UX-research role: While you will talk to users, your primary output is high-fidelity execution. We need a builder, not a pure strategist. * Not detached from engineering: Your designs need to be practical, buildable, and developed in close, daily collaboration with engineering. Benefits WORKING AT CADMUS * Work Your Way: We have a flexible, hybrid culture, with 2 anchor days weekly in our Melbourne HQ for when we need to collaborate in person, and the freedom to work from anywhere the rest of the week. * Real Ownership: You will have a major say in our architecture and our product roadmap. * Career Growth: We focus on mentoring and planning for your future so you can grow along with the company. * Inclusive Environment: We value different backgrounds and perspectives. If you love education and technology, you will belong here.

Senior Product Designer

CoStar GroupSydney, New South Wales, Australia

From $202/yr

Job Description Senior Product Designer will be responsible for leading the design of complex experiences within a squad or crew, ensuring work aligns with product strategy, business goals, and user needs. They define user journeys, drive design decisions, and advocate for design best practices across teams. * Quality \& Consistency – Ensure high-quality design execution by maintaining alignment with the design system while evolving and improving design patterns. * Business Impact – Surface customer insights, collaborate with product, engineering, and go-to-market teams, and develop solutions that improve product value and business outcomes. * Thinking Big \& Getting Stuff Done – Explore and advocate for new tools, processes, and methodologies that improve the efficiency and impact of the design team. Working within the Agent Division in the Skylight Crew, the Senior Product Designer will partner closely with the Lead Product Designer and their triad peers in product and engineering to deliver compelling outcomes across our agent products. This is a predominantly B2B role on a SaaS product, designing for people who use our tools as part of their livelihood — agents, sales teams, principals and admins working at pace and under commercial pressure. Designing well for them means understanding their business. The product offering is relatively new, but the challenge isn't a shortage of insight — it's deciding what we build. That demands ruthless prioritisation: knowing which gaps must be closed to be credible, which are worth conceding, and where we can be meaningfully better rather than incrementally similar. You'll be expected to form a point of view, back it with evidence, and argue it — including when the answer is that we shouldn't build the thing. You'll work end-to-end, from discovery to shipped detail, extending our design system rather than working around it. You'll raise the craft bar across the crew, bring your triad with you rather than presenting to them, and mentor less experienced designers. The Lead sets direction; you'll be one of the people they rely on to shape it and make it real. What You’ll Do * Develop and execute organic search strategies across multiple brands, driving growth in visibility, traffic, and search performance. * Lead end-to-end design initiatives, delivering intuitive, user-centred experiences aligned to product strategy and business goals. * Conduct user research, usability testing and discovery activities to uncover insights and validate design decisions. * Create high-quality wireframes, prototypes and polished designs that balance customer needs, technical feasibility and commercial outcomes. * Champion design quality and consistency through active contribution to Domain’s design system, patterns and design standards. * Partner closely with Product Managers, Engineers and cross-functional teams to shape solutions and influence product direction. * Drive continuous improvement by facilitating design critiques, sharing best practices, and advocating for new tools, processes and ways of working. Ideally you’ll have * 5+ years’ experience in Product Design, UX/UI Design or a related field, supported by a degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a similar discipline. * Demonstrated expertise in at least one design specialisation, with a strong portfolio showcasing user-centred design practices and outcomes. * Advanced proficiency in Figma, with experience creating wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity designs. * Skilled in user research, usability testing and leveraging data insights to inform and validate design decisions. * Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams, partnering closely with Product Managers, Engineers and other stakeholders. * Strong understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG), design systems and agentic workflows, with a proven ability to contribute to and improve scalable design practices. What’s In It For You Working at CoStar Group means you'll enjoy a culture of collaboration and innovation that attracts the best and brightest across a broad range of disciplines. We offer you generous compensation and performance-based incentives. As well as having an outstanding working environment, other perks include extra days of annual leave, leadership development programs, LinkedIn Learning, Perkbox discounts and much more! At CoStar, we recognise the positive value of diversity and promote equality. We aim at all times to recruit the person who is most suited to the job and welcome applications from people of all backgrounds including but not limited to; people of all genders, of all ages, sexual orientations, ethnicities, nationalities, religions and beliefs. About Domain (part Of The CoStar Group) Domain is a leading property technology and services marketplace that is home to one of the largest portfolios of property brands in Australia, including the Domain, Allhomes and Commercial Real Estate (CRE) platforms. Senior Product Designer – Toast Retail

ToastDublin, Ireland

From $39/yr

<p>Toast creates technology to help restaurants and local businesses succeed in a digital world, helping business owners operate, increase sales, engage customers, and keep employees happy.&nbsp;</p> <p>Toast is making it faster and easier for retailers to get started on Toast: the path from a store's existing product data to a correctly configured, actively selling location. We are seeking a highly skilled, AI-native Senior Product Designer to lead that experience: someone with a strong portfolio, a track record of leading design for complex product areas, a focus on exceptional UI design, and the hands-on ability to build working prototypes with AI tools like Replit, Magic Patterns, or Claude. This role involves designing for the unique needs of a diverse retail customer base, including convenience stores, bottle shops, grocery stores, hybrid models, and beyond.</p> <p>You will lead design for Toast Retail's Experience Platform team, working day to day with product and engineering partners in our Dublin office and the U.S., and reporting to Toast Retail's design leadership in the U.S. Together you will turn product strategy into the setup and onboarding experiences that make retailers feel Toast is built for them.</p> <h2><strong>Why This Role Matters</strong></h2> <p>A retailer's first 90 days on Toast decide whether they stay. Before a store can sell, thousands of items need clean names, categories, brands, pack sizes, taxes, deposits, age restrictions, and images, and most of that data arrives messy, from another system or a spreadsheet. The experiences you design will decide how quickly a new store goes live, how much of that work Toast can do for them, and whether the people setting up the store, often owners juggling a business that is already open, feel in control or buried in it.</p> <p>You will be Toast Retail's design presence in our Dublin office: the on-site design partner for its product and engineering teams, and part of Toast's wider design community. As a senior designer working across regions and time zones, you will set design direction for your area with a high degree of autonomy: keeping local teams unblocked, making well-informed design and scope tradeoffs within the broader product vision, shaping the roadmap alongside your product and engineering partners, and bringing US-based design, product, and business stakeholders in when direction, customer impact, or strategic choices need broader alignment.</p> <p><strong>A day in the life (Responsibilities)&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Lead design for your product area:</strong> Take your area from early discovery through shipped UI, set its design direction and quality bar, and connect each workflow to the broader Toast Retail vision. Help shape what the team builds, not only how it looks.</li> <li><strong>Prototype with AI:</strong> Use AI prototyping tools such as Replit, Magic Patterns, or Claude to build working, interactive prototypes with realistic data, so ideas can be tested with customers and engineers before the team commits to them. Use AI across the rest of your practice too, from synthesizing research to exploring concepts, validating outputs carefully and modeling responsible, secure use of AI for the team.</li> <li><strong>Design AI-first workflows:</strong> Identify where AI can materially reduce customer effort, such as importing and cleaning up a store's existing item data, enriching items with brands, images, and attributes, and guiding new retailers through setup. Design just as carefully for when it is unsure: how customers review low-confidence results, correct mistakes, and come to trust the system.</li> <li><strong>Engage directly with customers:</strong> Research with retailers, and with the onboarding and support teams who help them go live, to understand where setup breaks down, and translate those insights into design direction and testable ideas.</li> <li><strong>Make complex data feel simple:</strong> Turn large catalogs, imports, bulk edits, and errors into experiences that are clear, forgiving, and fast, on desktop and in the hand.</li> <li><strong>Collaborate early and often:</strong> Partner closely with product managers and engineers in Dublin and the U.S., sharing work early, communicating design rationale clearly, and helping the team make good decisions quickly.</li> <li><strong>Raise the bar for the team:</strong> Deliver pixel-perfect UI, apply and extend the Toast design system with good judgment, mentor other designers, and contribute to the quality and practices of the wider Retail design team.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>You will be a central collaborator within a cross-functional team of designers, product managers, and engineers, designing sophisticated, retail-native capabilities such as:</p> <ul> <li>Onboarding for new retailers, from first data import to a store that is ready to sell</li> <li>AI-assisted setup, including agents that import, clean up, and enrich a store's item data</li> <li>Bulk item creation, editing, and correction at the scale of tens of thousands of products</li> <li>Retail item details such as brand, pack and unit, tax, deposit and age rules, images, and category-specific attributes, like a wine's vintage and region</li> <li>Tools that help Toast's onboarding teams set up and support retailers</li> <li>Reusable setup and interaction patterns that make Toast feel built for retail across products</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Team and Impact</strong></h2> <p>You will join a passionate team dedicated to driving the consistency, integrity, strategy, and vision of Toast's next-generation product experience. The team is co-located in Dublin and the U.S. While the role sits in the Retail line of business, the patterns you establish will be reused across Toast Retail's products and help scale Toast's retail offering as Toast expands into new markets.</p> <p>A key part of this work involves building on Toast's investments in AI-assisted onboarding. You will partner closely with the Dublin engineering team that is already building and shipping AI tools that help Toast's onboarding teams set up retail customers.</p> <p><strong>What you'll need to thrive (Requirements)</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Experience &amp; Leadership (5+ years):</strong> Demonstrated ability to lead design for a complex product area end to end, craft compelling visual experiences, and connect this work to a broader product vision. You have shipped work that measurably changed customer or business outcomes, and you have influenced product direction, not only executed it.</li> <li><strong>AI-Native Practice:</strong> AI is part of how you work every day, not an occasional experiment. You use tools like Claude, Replit, or Magic Patterns to research, explore, and prototype, and you can build working prototypes to test ideas with customers and engineers. Crucially, you can tell valuable AI integration from mere hype, in your own process and in the product.</li> <li><strong>Core UX/UI Expertise:</strong> Solid understanding of UX principles and best practices for both web and native mobile applications, along with a strong grasp of platform-specific UX and UI patterns.</li> <li><strong>Autonomy &amp; Initiative:</strong> Ability to navigate ambiguous, undefined problem spaces, frame the right problem, and initiate work by efficiently gathering the information needed to begin, and to keep moving when key partners are in another time zone.</li> <li><strong>Collaboration &amp; Communication:</strong> Strong communication skills, a proactive mindset for sharing work early and often, the ability to present work and rationale persuasively to senior leaders, and the ability to build trusting relationships across functions and regions.</li> <li><strong>Design Tool Proficiency:</strong> Proficient in design software (preferably Figma), including maintaining clean files and delivering pixel-perfect final UI designs for handoff when needed (to a developer or an AI prototyping tool).</li> <li><strong>Feedback &amp; Mentorship:</strong> Able to take feedback constructively and pivot quickly when necessary, and to give clear, generous feedback that helps other designers grow.</li> <li><strong>User Empathy:</strong> A strong ability to understand and empathize with users, designing digital experiences that delight and create a sense of accomplishment, especially within stressful or monotonous workflows.</li> <li><strong>Design Systems:</strong> Familiarity with corporate design systems, knowing how to apply them appropriately, and the judgment to push beyond them when innovation requires it.</li> <li><strong>Customer Engagement:</strong> Willingness to engage directly with customers to gather feedback and generate ideas for advancing product features.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What will help you stand out (Nice to Have)</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience designing data-heavy operational or B2B software, such as onboarding, data import, product information management, or point-of-sale tools.</li> <li>Experience designing AI or machine-learning features that include human review, confidence, o

Senior Graphic Designer

LOOPAmsterdam, NH, NL

From $16/yr

Senior Graphic Designer =========================== Location: Antwerp, Amsterdam or EU/UK Remote | Full-time | Experience: 7+ years of experience in graphic design, ideally within ecommerce, DTC, fashion, jewellery, tech, or consumer brands. Shape how Loop shows up in the world Loop is showing up in more places than ever. From our own channels and global campaigns to retail shelves, marketplaces, and partnerships with some of the world's most exciting brands. Wherever people meet Loop, it needs to feel unmistakably us. As our Senior Graphic Designer, you'll shape the visual world behind our campaigns, across both our Core range and Partnerships. You'll turn creative concepts into strong visual systems and build the guidelines that help those ideas stay consistent across channels, formats, and markets. The Role You'll work closely with our Art Directors, Copy team, Brand, Growth, CRM, Product teams to take campaigns from an initial brief to a visual direction that can live everywhere. This isn't just about making individual assets look great. You'll think in systems: defining typography, colour, layout, motion, and design principles, then translating them into guidelines and toolkits that other designers, freelancers, and agencies can confidently work with. You'll also step into high-impact projects beyond campaigns when needed, from packaging and retail POS to launch identities and collaborations. What You'll Do * Turn campaign briefs into strong visual concepts and scalable design systems across paid social, CRM, web, marketplaces, and retail. * Shape campaign/product launch identities through typography, colour, layout, motion, and other visual principles. * Design for brand partnerships, bringing Loop and partner identities together in a way that feels natural to both brands. * Create clear guidelines, templates, and toolkits that help internal teams, freelancers, and agencies execute consistently. * Work on packaging concepts, retail POS, launch identities, and other high-impact brand moments depending on the roadmap. * Bring a sharp eye for typography, grid, colour, and detail into design reviews and help raise the overall craft bar. * Use AI tools to explore more creative directions faster, while knowing where human taste and judgement matter most. You Won't * Design one-off campaign assets without thinking about how the idea needs to scale across channels and markets. * Treat brand partnerships as simply placing two visual identities next to each other. * Hand over a design direction without giving others the tools and guidelines to execute it properly. * Wait for a perfectly finished brief before starting to explore and shape a direction. * Choose speed over craft when the details are what make the work feel premium. * Use AI as a replacement for strong creative judgement or original thinking. How You'll Succeed You can take a relatively open brief and turn it into a clear visual idea, then build a system around it that works just as well on a tiny paid social asset as it does in retail or a major campaign launch. You know how to make consumer products feel desirable. You understand that great campaign design needs to do more than look beautiful, especially in an ecommerce and DTC environment where the work also needs to perform. Your work raises the visual bar for Loop, but your impact goes beyond what you personally design. The systems, guidelines, and feedback you create make the work around you stronger too. What You'll Bring * 7+ years of graphic design experience, ideally within ecommerce, DTC, or consumer brands. * A strong portfolio showing campaigns you've helped concept and shape, not just execute. * Strong art direction eye, taking briefs from early ideas to complete visual systems. * Excellent craft across typography, layout, colour, composition, and visual storytelling. * Experience designing campaigns across multiple channels, from social and CRM to web and marketplaces. * Strong skills in Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects. * Comfort using AI tools as part of your creative workflow, combined with strong creative judgement. Nice to Haves * Experience in fashion, jewellery, tech, or other design-led consumer brands. * Packaging or retail design experience, including print production and prepress. * Experience with DAM or brand platforms such as Frontify. Loop isn't for everyone. We might not be a match if you: * Prefer executing fully defined briefs over helping shape the creative direction yourself. * Prefer creating individual assets over building visual systems that others can use. * Care about how something looks, but less about how it performs across ecommerce and growth channels. * Find it difficult to balance speed with a high level of visual craft and attention to detail. * Prefer keeping your work to yourself rather than giving and receiving direct creative feedback. * See AI as either something to avoid completely or something that can replace creative thinking. Your Portfolio We're much more interested in three projects with real thinking behind them than twenty polished thumbnails. We'd love to see a campaign you helped concept rather than simply execute, how one visual idea translated across different formats and channels, and the craft behind the final result. If you have personal or self-initiated work that shows your own visual point of view, we'd love to see that too. Still interested? Great. If you're excited about shaping how Loop shows up across campaigns, collaborations, retail, and everything in between, and you want to build visual systems that can travel across channels and markets without losing their edge, we'd love to see your work. —- Application Window \& Recruiter Interview: 8 OCT - 16 OCT Hiring Manager Interview: 19 OCT - 24 OCT Business Case \& Team Interview: 26 OCT - 31 OCT Target Start Date: 7 DEC - 4 JAN Compensation Range: €60K - €80K

This is a hands-on role for someone equally comfortable in a journey map and a process flow, whether your background is in service design, UX or business analysis. You will build and evolve service design blueprints, conduct research to surface user and business needs, and translate both into measurable improvements across the user experience and business process. Senior UX Designer

GEP WorldwideClark, NJ

$115,000 - $130,000/yr

As a Senior UX Designer, you'll own the end-to-end experience for major parts of the GEP Quantum Intelligence platform. We're looking for an innovator with deep Figma expertise: someone who gets genuinely excited about presenting their ideas and telling the story behind them, and who is deeply passionate about how AI is changing the user experience. You'll work day to day with product managers, engineers, data scientists and procurement subject-matter experts, and you'll be a go-to voice on design quality and craft across the team. This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days onsite in our GEP Clark NJ Headquarters. What You'll Do * Own the experience end to end: Lead design from discovery through launch for complex enterprise workflows across source-to-pay and supply chain, from early concepts to polished, shippable UI. * Make complex data easy to act on: Design dashboards, control towers, spend analytics, and data-dense tables and filters that help users spot issues and make decisions quickly. * Lead how we design for AI: Partner with product and data science to shape conversational and assistive features, recommendations, and agent-driven automation. Explore new interaction patterns, stay on top of how AI is reshaping UX practice itself, and make sure users understand what the AI did, can trust it, and can step in when needed. * Bring new ideas and prototype them fast: Use Figma and AI-assisted tools to turn ideas into interactive prototypes quickly, and bring fresh concepts to the team before anyone asks. * Do the research: Plan and run interviews, usability tests and workflow observation with buyers, suppliers, planners and other enterprise users. Use what you learn, along with product usage data, to drive decisions. * Design for the low-code studio: Help shape the GEP QUANTUM tools that let customers and partners configure and build their own apps, where the user is often a builder rather than an end user. * Partner closely with product and engineering: Write clear specs, give thoughtful design reviews, and stay involved through build so what ships matches what we designed. * Tell the story behind the work: Present your ideas and rationale with energy and a clear narrative to product leaders, senior executives and client-facing teams, and take feedback well. * Raise the bar: Mentor other designers, share best practices, and push for accessibility (WCAG) and consistency across the product. * Work across time zones: Collaborate with teammates in the US, India and Europe. What You Bring * 6+ years of UX or product design experience, with a strong portfolio of shipped enterprise B2B software (SaaS preferred) * A portfolio that shows your process clearly: the problem, your research, how you made trade-offs, and the measurable result * Strong interaction design, information architecture and visual design skills, including designing for complex, multi-step workflows and large data sets * Expert-level fluency in Figma, including components, variables, auto layout, advanced prototyping and scalable libraries * Hands-on experience with user research methods such as interviews, usability testing, surveys and journey mapping * Experience building or contributing to a design system * Working knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and responsive design for web applications * Comfort working closely with engineers in an agile environment, and a good grasp of what's technically feasible in modern web frameworks * A natural storyteller who loves presenting ideas, with the confidence to bring executives, engineers and clients along with a clear narrative * Deep, genuine passion for how AI is changing the user experience: you follow the space closely, experiment with AI tools in your own work, and have a point of view you can defend * An innovator's mindset, with a track record of bringing fresh ideas to a team and turning them into something real * Bachelor's degree in design, HCI, human factors, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience Nice to Have * Experience in procurement, supply chain, logistics, finance or another workflow-heavy enterprise domain * Experience designing AI, machine learning or agentic features, including conversational interfaces and human-in-the-loop patterns * Experience designing data visualization, analytics dashboards or control-tower style monitoring tools * Experience designing for low-code or no-code platforms, configuration tools or admin experiences * Familiarity with Microsoft ecosystem products such as Azure, SharePoint and Office, and with how enterprise software integrates with ERPs like SAP and Oracle * Comfort with HTML, CSS or front-end basics, and with AI-assisted design and prototyping tools * Experience mentoring other designers or leading design critiques * Experience working with globally distributed teams Salary Range: $115,000 – $130,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications. Additional Compensation: Eligible for a performance-based bonus tied to individual and company performance. Benefits: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) with a 3% company match, paid time off, company holidays, and professional development opportunities.

Senior Designer, Experience Design

Job Title Senior Designer, Experience Design About OX The Office of Experience (OX) is a full-service digital agency helping companies excel at every moment of interface they have with their customers. OX’s human-centered philosophy and multidisciplinary approach integrate strategy, design and technology to help organizations reinvent their business and rapidly bring new experiences, products and messages to market. In an era of unprecedented disruption, OX is built to transform. Position Description As a Senior Designer on OX's Experience Design Team, you'll design the digital products, platforms and experiences our clients' customers use every day: enterprise websites, e-commerce, portals, apps and the design systems behind them. You pair strong visual craft with product and experience design thinking: you can take an ambiguous brief, understand the business goal and the user need behind it, map the flows, prototype, test and carry the solution all the way to a polished, build-ready experience. You own meaningful workstreams with light oversight, present and defend your work with clients, and partner closely with UX, content, strategy and engineering. You also use AI tools as a natural part of how you work: to explore wider, prototype sooner and spend more of your time on the decisions that matter. Responsibilities \& Duties * Own end-to-end design for features, flows and products, from discovery and concepting through high-fidelity UI, prototyping and developer handoff * Translate business goals, user research and data into clear design decisions, and articulate the “why” behind every solution * Partner with UX on journeys, task flows and information architecture, then bring them to life with strong visual and interaction design * Build interactive prototypes in Figma (and code or AI-assisted tools where they help) to test ideas early and align stakeholders * Contribute to and extend design systems (components, patterns, tokens and documentation) with consistency, accessibility and scale in mind * Design responsive, accessible (WCAG 2.1 AA) experiences across web, mobile and emerging touchpoints, with a working understanding of how they get built * Partner with engineering through build: annotated specs, design QA and pragmatic trade-offs that protect the experience * Extend brand identities into digital products, including UI systems, motion and interaction, so the experience feels unmistakably like the client * Present work to clients, including senior stakeholders, and help facilitate working sessions and workshops alongside creative leadership * Use AI tools thoughtfully across your workflow (research synthesis, ideation, content exploration and rapid prototyping) and share what works with the team * Mentor Designers and peers through critique, feedback and example Required Experience * 6+ years of digital design experience, including at least 2–3 years as a functioning senior level designer focused on product, UX/UI or experience design, ideally in an agency, consultancy or in-house product team * A portfolio of shipped digital products or platforms that shows your process, including problem framing, flows, iteration and outcomes, rather than just final screens * Expert-level Figma skills (components, variants, auto layout, prototyping, shared libraries); amongst other modern tools \& software * Strong visual design fundamentals: typography, layout, color, hierarchy and interaction detail * Solid grounding in UX principles, usability heuristics and accessibility standards * Experience designing within, contributing to or building a design system * Working knowledge of front-end realities (responsive layouts, HTML/CSS, component-based development) and comfort collaborating closely with developers * Confidence presenting and rationalizing work to clients and cross-functional teams * Hands-on curiosity about AI-enabled design tools and how they're changing the craft Nice to Have * Experience planning or running usability tests and user interviews * Motion and interaction design skills (e.g., After Effects, Lottie, Rive) * Prototyping in code or with AI-assisted builders (e.g., Figma Make, v0, Claude, et al.) * A content design or UX writing sensibility * Experience with complex B2B, e-commerce or enterprise platforms * Familiarity with analytics, A/B testing or experimentation tools * Shown knowledge of ecommerce and/or design support to larger platforms What Success Looks Like * Craft \& Quality: Your work is polished, near launch-ready and consistent with the system, and you hold a high bar without being asked. * Ownership \& Complexity: You run a product area or workstream end to end with light oversight, and the scope you're trusted with keeps growing. * Process \& Problem-Solving: You move from a messy brief to a tested, defensible solution by exploring widely, prioritizing well and following through. * Collaboration \& Communication: UX, content, engineering and clients see you as a trusted partner who makes the work clearer, not more complicated. * Impact \& Influence: You raise the bar for the designers around you and help shape outcomes for the client and for OX. Where This Role Can Go Positioned at the apex of OX's unified design framework, the Senior Designer role serves as a natural launchpad for your career trajectory. We offer support and guidance for your career track and how to accomplish your goals of your career. Location Chicago-area candidates strongly preferred.
