Job Description As a Manager Operations Support (f/m/d) you will oversee the safe operation and maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems within the data Centers. This role is responsible for setting and administering Electrical Safety Rules (ESR), ensuring compliance with legislation, and providing technical guidance to both staff and contractors. The position requires collaboration with site and operations teams, supporting incident response, corrective maintenance, and lifecycle projects. As the subject matter expert in electrical safety, the manager plays a critical role in maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel and third-party contractors across the regional data center estate. Responsibilities * Professional and disciplinary leadership of the Technical Ops team. * This includes objective setting, coaching \& feedback, performance review, training \& development. * Responsible for the task qualification and distribution to the Tech Operations team * Responsible to ensure that the daily workflow is done, and in accordance with the Digital Realty policies and Global standards. * Oversees the development of the annual maintenance plans by the coordinators with the Datacentre * Operations Management teams and ensures these are reviewed/updated on a quarterly basis. * Ensures that this covers the company maintenance policy as well as all local regulations (incl environment, health \& safety requirements) * Improve efficiency and ensures effective communication and gives input on best practices. * Responsible for training and coaching of all team members and supporting functions to ensure a unique customer experience across all sites. * Reviews the balance between maintenance workload and Site Staff availability with Site Management to ensure timely completion of the work, sufficient utilization of the capacity and take potential temporary measures to spread workload or increase team capacity. * Contributes to the Global Technical Operations community, chaired by the functional owner. * Maintaining a rolling forecast of 12 months ahead of all maintenance activities and OPEX costs in cooperation with Finance * Develop smart and effective maintenance schedules, based on time, condition and value-based maintenance plans. * Accountable for all maintenance data in the Maintenance Management Platforms * Define, implement and maintain a Maintenance dashboard with KPI’s for the weekly, monthly and quarterly operational review meetings. * Supporting with the management of the annual maintenance contracts.
