Staff Software Engineer (Go) at BairesDev We’re looking for a Staff Software Engineer who has moved beyond writing great Go code and now shapes how distributed systems are built around them. You understand cloud\-native architecture at a deep level, you’ve delivered platforms where performance and reliability aren’t optional, and you know how to get teams aligned on the technical decisions that matter. You’ll be taking on a senior IC role on a platform that powers AI and machine learning for some of the world’s largest enterprises — setting direction, solving hard problems, and raising the bar for the engineers around you. **What You’ll Do** * Lead the design and development of critical backend components in Go within a Kubernetes\-native environment. * Define architectural standards and set technical direction for distributed platform systems. * Drive engineering best practices across teams, from coding standards to deployment and observability. * Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize and deliver high\-impact technical initiatives. * Mentor engineers across teams, fostering technical growth and knowledge sharing. * Contribute to LLM/RAG platform features and ensure their reliable operation in production. **What We Are Looking For** * 7\+ years of experience in IT roles. * 5\+ years of experience with Go or Rust as a primary programming language, with strong Go expertise. * Proven experience designing and delivering Kubernetes\-native architectures in production. * Deep knowledge of distributed systems design and delivery at scale. * Hands\-on experience with LLM or RAG systems in production environments. * Demonstrated ability to lead and influence technical direction across multiple teams. * Advanced proficiency in English.
