Payments Principle Product Specialist

**Key Responsibilities:** As a Senior Payments Product Manager, you will be at the forefront of our expansion in the EU. You will play a pivotal role in building and managing our payment products, ensuring they meet the highest standards of efficiency and regulatory compliance. * **Strategic Reporting:** Direct report to Head of Payments EU / Managing Director of Bybit Payments GmbH. * **Product Ownership:** Lead the lifecycle of payment products including accounts, international transfers, cards, digital payments, digital wallets, FIAT currencies and stablecoins (e\-money tokens). * **Infrastructure Management:** Establish and oversee clearing and settlement systems (SWIFT, EBA Clearing, TIPS) and maintain payment standards (SEPA / ISO 20022\). * **Treasury Operations:** Design internal treasury and cash management systems to optimize liquidity and fund safety. * **Stakeholder Management:** Act as interface between technical teams, legal \& compliance, AML, payments operations, sales, and external financial partners. **Requirements:** * **Education \& Experience:** Degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of **5\+ years of experience** in payments within a bank, e\-money institution, or payment service provider (PSP). * **Technical Expertise:** Strong knowledge of payment protocols (SWIFT, SEPA), clearing systems, and product architecture (wallets, currency exchange, e\-money tokens). * **Regulatory \& Compliance:** Deep understanding of the European regulatory landscape, including **PSD2/PSD3, E\-Money Act, AMLD, GDPR, and DORA** . Familiarity with safeguarding client funds is essential. * **Languages:** Professional fluency in both **English and German** is mandatory (due to regular interaction with Austrian regulatory authorities). * **Mindset:** Ability to thrive in a fast\-paced, 24/7/365 operational environment. You are a self\-starter who can work independently while maintaining high standards of precision.
