This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of program and business processes that drive high-quality project delivery to clients and stakeholders. The Operations Manager will oversee teams supporting field operations, develop and optimize processes to improve efficiency, manage costs, and ensure production targets are consistently met. This role is primarily internal-facing but requires regular coordination with clients, partners, and cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities * Lead one or more teams responsible for field operations and program delivery across multiple energy efficiency programs * Oversee daily operations of weatherization crews installing energy efficiency measures, ensuring safe, compliant, and high-quality execution * Develop, implement, and continuously improve operational processes to drive efficiency, reduce costs, and increase productivity * Ensure program delivery meets established production targets, timelines, and performance metrics * Maintain quality assurance standards and ensure adherence to program guidelines, regulatory requirements, and client expectations * Drive coordination and communication across field teams, program management, and internal stakeholders * Manage project and process workflows, identifying opportunities to streamline operations and improve outcomes * Supervise and develop experienced professionals who operate with autonomy and accountability * Utilize data and reporting to monitor performance across program support, field operations, and business functions * Partner with leadership to support business growth, operational scaling, and program development initiatives * Serve as a point of escalation for operational challenges and implement effective solutions to maintain delivery commitments Required Qualifications * 5–8 years of relevant experience in operations management, preferably within energy efficiency, weatherization, or related programs * Minimum of 2+ years of people management experience leading field or operations teams * Strong understanding of building science principles and residential energy efficiency measures (e.g., insulation, air sealing, HVAC improvements) * Demonstrated experience managing operations associated with energy efficiency or similar field-based service programs * Proven ability to manage costs, improve operational efficiency, and meet production targets * Experience overseeing multiple projects, programs, or geographic regions simultaneously * Strong analytical skills with experience leveraging data to drive operational decisions Preferred Qualifications * Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Environmental Science, Business, or a related field * Experience working with utility-sponsored or government-funded energy efficiency programs * Familiarity with field service management tools, workforce scheduling systems, and program tracking platforms Key Competencies * Operational leadership and team development * Process improvement and continuous optimization * Strong communication and cross-functional coordination * Data-driven decision-making * Problem-solving and adaptability in a fast-paced environment DOT Requirements If applicable, meet all DOT qualification requirements and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations.
