Role Overview The Exercise Physiologist plays a fundamental role in implementing and monitoring tailored exercise plans based on individual patient data. Must have requirements • Certified BSc degree (minimum 3 years) OR MSc (minimum 1 year) OR PhD in sport or exercise science. • Current registration as an Exercise Physiologist with one of the following: British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences, American College of Sports Medicine, or Exercise and Sport Science Australia. • At least 3 years of experience in Exercise Physiology or a closely related field. • Minimum 1 year of post-accreditation experience in the relevant field. • Proven experience conducting fitness assessments and designing tailored exercise programs. • Certified Exercise Physiologist credentials and currently valid, relevant professional certifications. • Eligibility for healthcare professional licensure by a regulated healthcare authority in the UAE (such as DOH or DHA) or an equivalent regulatory body. Nice to have requirements • Experience working in a healthcare or hospital setting. • Knowledge of chronic disease management protocols. • Additional certifications in specialized exercise testing and prescription. • Familiarity with latest exercise science technology and software. • Strong communication skills in English and Arabic.
