Job Description: The DevOps Engineer designs and manages database architecture, CI/CD pipeline infrastructure, and on-premises platform services across all Business Units. This role owns advanced performance optimization, disaster recovery strategy, and platform infrastructure including Redis, MinIO, and Kafka. The DevOps Engineer provides oversight of Linux/Windows server infrastructure and security compliance. Key Responsibilities Support the engineering team and engineering managers by executing standard work consistently and reliably Partner with the Engineering Coordinator to maintain up-to-date engineering schedules and adjust assignments based on project changes Collaborate with the Program Management team to author, deploy, and maintain documentation of IEM engineering processes Create and update standard work documents as new responsibilities or processes are assigned Serve as a subject matter expert for internal IEM systems, providing guidance to engineering team members Populate bills of material within IEM systems based on engineering instruction and design direction Validate engineering information against written checklists prior to submittal and release to production Maintain engineering administrative communications and route questions to the appropriate engineering resources Communicate and enter information related to engineering assignments for visibility across the organization Support project communication, schedules, and design cycle coordination for moderately complex projects and customer orders Collaborate with Engineering Administrators and management to identify and resolve common engineering process challenges Provide backup support for engineering program managers, coordinators, and assistants as needed Qualifications Technical institute certificate or equivalent professional experience preferred Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.) Experience with 2D CAD software (AutoCAD or similar) preferred Experience working in engineering or manufacturing environments preferred Strong sense of ownership, attention to detail, and sense of urgency Ability to adapt to changing organizational priorities while executing standard work consistently Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization Demonstrated ability to maintain a positive outlook while fostering a collaborative culture where teams work together to achieve shared goals Workplace Conditions Work environment includes an office setting with regular interaction with engineering and program management teams Remote or Hybrid schedule available * Less than 5% travel expected (ability to travel between US and Canada) Compensation The salary band for this role is $48,000- $82,960 .
