Chief Financial Officer

In October 2025, we closed a €25M investment with Avego Healthcare Capital to fuel our global ambitions and scale the business. Join us in shaping the future of treatment access - making tomorrow’s therapies accessible for people who need them today. The Mission Every day, patients, physicians, and pharma companies navigate a fragmented, slow, and complex healthcare ecosystem to find pre-approval treatments. At myTomorrows, we are building the global infrastructure to solve this. Our mission is clear: to enable earlier and better access to all possible treatment options for patients who cannot afford to wait. Operating across 134+ countries, with hubs in Amsterdam, New York, and India, we've supported over 17,000 patients and 3,000+ physicians. Avego's €25 million growth investment is our launchpad to scale the business internationally, deepen BioPharma partnerships, and build the financial architecture that a company of this complexity now requires. As our Chief Financial Officer (CFO) , based at our Amsterdam headquarters, you will be a central member of the Leadership Team and a close strategic partner to the CEO. You will not simply run a finance function. You will build the financial infrastructure, governance, and discipline that this next chapter of growth demands, across a business spanning technology, regulated healthcare services, and multiple jurisdictions. The Challenges As CFO, you will step into the trenches to tackle four defining challenges: Leading buy-side M&A execution: You will be the primary financial architect behind our inorganic growth. As myTomorrows evaluates acquisitions and strategic partnerships to complement organic growth, you will lead deal structuring, due diligence, valuation, and integration from a buyer's seat, bringing real process discipline to a company entering its first phase of consolidation. Architecting for multi-jurisdiction complexity: You will own the financial structure connecting our operations across the Netherlands, the US, and India. This means building robust transfer pricing policies, intercompany arrangements, and multi-party revenue recognition frameworks that hold up to investor and regulatory scrutiny as the business scales across borders. Being a credible investor partner: You will serve as the finance function's primary interface to our Supervisory Board. You will bring investor-grade reporting rhythms, board governance discipline, and the judgment to translate operational reality into the language our sponsor and Board expect. Preparing for future fundraising and exit: You will help set the company up for its next capital event, whether that is a follow-on raise, a strategic sale, or another form of exit. This means building the financial track record, audit readiness, and data room discipline that institutional buyers and investors expect, well ahead of any process actually starting. What You Bring to the Table Experience & Technical Depth Proven CFO or strong CFO-1 experience in a high-growth, investor-backed business, ideally in healthtech, healthcare services, life sciences, or another complex international platform environment. Buy-side M&A execution is a firm requirement . You have led acquisitions from the buyer's side, not only sell-side or advisory M&A, and can speak credibly to deal structuring, diligence, and post-deal integration. Multi-jurisdiction financial complexity : hands-on experience with transfer pricing, intercompany structures, and multi-party revenue recognition across at least two of the following: Europe, the US, and Asia. Institutional governance familiarity : direct experience with board reporting rhythms, supervisory board obligations, and the accountability that comes with a private equity or growth equity sponsor. Regulated sector navigation : exposure to compliance-intensive environments, ideally in healthcare, life sciences, or another highly regulated domain. Leading a lean senior team : you have led finance at this scale and know how to raise the ceiling of a small team rather than solving it with headcount. Fundraising and exit experience: you have run or closely supported a capital raise, whether equity, debt, or both, and ideally have direct exposure to a sale process, IPO, or other exit event. You know what "diligence-ready" actually means in practice. Leadership Style & Cultural Fit A Builder at Heart: You are energized by creating and scaling finance infrastructure, and you are comfortable reviewing a deal model, writing a Board memo, or rolling up your sleeves with the team when needed. Commercially Astute: You connect mission to economics, balancing patient-first principles with the discipline an investor-backed business requires, and you can challenge constructively. Low Ego, High Accountability: You establish clear standards, hold yourself and others to them, and proactively remove roadblocks rather than waiting for structure to be handed to you. A Strategic Connector: You translate financial complexity into a clear narrative for the CEO, Supervisory Board, and cross-functional leaders, building alignment and confidence in the numbers. Please note: this is a hybrid role, combining flexible home-office days with regular days at our Amsterdam headquarters. Because we value face-to-face collaboration during the week, we are looking for candidates who already live within commuting distance. We cannot provide fully remote options. The Financial Foundation Today You will inherit a finance function with a solid FP&A core and real scope to build: Structure: A multi-entity organization spanning the Netherlands, the US, and an operational hub in India, with growing cross-border complexity. Team: A lean, capable team of five. A finance lead as your direct report with three people behind her, plus Revenue Operations, giving you direct influence over pipeline, forecasting, and pricing rather than a view from the sidelines. Reporting: FP&A and performance reporting capability already in place; the priority now is professionalizing controls, governance, and investor-grade reporting infrastructure around it. Ownership: A Supervisory Board and a committed institutional sponsor, Avego Healthcare Capital, with clear expectations on growth economics, capital allocation, and value creation. Growth model: Organic growth complemented by inorganic opportunities, with M&A and strategic partnerships expected to play an increasing role in the company's next phase. What 12-18 Months of Success Looks Like When you look back at your first year and a half, you will have successfully: Led or materially advanced one or more buy-side M&A processes, demonstrating deal discipline from sourcing through integration. Established a robust multi-jurisdiction financial architecture, including transfer pricing policy and intercompany structures that hold up under scrutiny. Built investor-grade financial governance and greater confidence in data quality across the business. Strengthened the finance team and its standing with business leaders, while building on the FP&A foundation already in place. Become a trusted partner to the CEO and Supervisory Board, with a reporting rhythm that meets institutional ownership expectations. Helped shape a clear financial roadmap for international scale and long-term value creation. What we Offer A Seat at the Table: Autonomy to shape the financial architecture of a category-defining company with deep strategic relevance. Stability + Speed: The financial backing of a leading healthcare investment fund, paired with the agility and creativity of a global scale-up. Comprehensive Executive Benefits: Competitive base salary, performance-driven annual bonus, and a substantial Employee Stock Option Plan (ESOP). Well-being & Development: Attractive pension plan (full premium covered by myTomorrows), a dedicated personal learning budget, and mental health support via OpenUp. Our HQ Culture: Healthy lunches at our thriving headquarters, a hybrid working model, policies supporting working parents, and legendary events hosted by our Culture Club, including our annual "myTomorrowland" celebration. Equal opportunities myTomorrows is an Equal Opportunity Employer and, beyond upholding discrimination-free practices, we are committed to cultivating a workplace where difference and diversity are protected and celebrated. The opportunity: Fullstack Engineer As a Full Stack Engineer, you will take primary ownership of our frontend experience while being capable of making the backend changes needed to unblock yourself and your team. You'll work closely with Backend Engineers, DevOps Engineers, and stakeholders to deliver scalable, reliable, and high-performance products end-to-end, from pixel to API. Given that most of our team is located in the Netherlands, we only consider candidates for this position who live within commuting distance of our office in Amsterdam. What you'll do in this role Design, develop, and maintain frontend components in Angular (and Lit HTML where applicable), ensuring optimal performance, responsiveness, and usability. Own the integration layer between frontend and backend: consume and contribute to OpenAPI-defined APIs, handle data contracts, and wire up microservices cleanly. Make targeted backend changes, new endpoints, tweaks to existing services, minor data model updates, so you can ship features without always depending on a dedicated backend engineer. Contribute to architectural discussions across the full stack, from UI component structure to API design and data access patterns. Participate actively in code reviews, providing feedback on both frontend and backend code quality, adherence to standards, and performance. Mentor and support junior engineers across the stack. Stay current with evolving frontend and full-stack best practices. What you bring to the table 3+ years of experience in frontend or full stack engineering. Strong proficiency in Angular and experience with component-based frameworks such as Lit HTML. Solid understanding of responsive design, UX/UI principles, and a keen eye for design detail. Proven experience integrating with APIs and microservices, you understand HTTP, REST conventions, auth flows, and error handling deeply. Working proficiency in Python, enough to navigate a FastAPI codebase, add or adjust endpoints, and write Pydantic models and SQLAlchemy queries. Familiarity with relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) at the query and schema level. Experience with containerised workflows using Docker. Excellent problem-solving skills; comfortable working independently and collaboratively. Strong English communication skills and ability to work across disciplines. Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools (e.g. Claude Code, Cursor, or similar) as part of daily workflow. Familiarity with LLM API integration (OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar) and an understanding of the UX patterns specific to AI-powered features. What success in the first 6 months looks like You've built trust with Backend, DevOps, and Product peers and taken clear ownership of 2–3 frontend domains, including their design system consistency and API integration contracts. You've delivered frontend features end-to-end, from UX design discussion through Angular implementation, API wiring, tests, and documentation, without needing hand-holding at either layer. You've unblocked yourself (and others) by making safe, well-reviewed backend changes: adding an endpoint, adjusting a response model, or optimising a query, rather than waiting in a queue. You've raised frontend quality: responsive across devices, accessible, consistent with our design system, and validated against real API contracts rather than mocks. You've contributed to meaningful observability on the frontend, error tracking, performance budgets, and linked them to backend SLIs where relevant. You've shared knowledge through documentation, code reviews, and mentoring, so the team's frontend capability grows with you.
