Senior Frontend Developer

Position: Senior UI / Full Stack Developer Location: Remote Duration: 06+ Months (Likely to extend) Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Senior UI / Full Stack Developer to support the development of a data governance platform within a large enterprise environment. This role is primarily focused on frontend development (approximately 60%) with strong full-stack responsibilities, including backend service development using Java and Spring Boot. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience building modern, responsive user interfaces using React while also contributing to scalable backend services, APIs, and enterprise integrations. This individual will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions that support data governance, metadata management, and data lineage initiatives. Required Skills: * 5+ years of software development experience with full-stack ownership * Strong hands-on experience with React.js * Strong backend development experience with Java 8+ (Java 21 preferred) * Experience developing applications using Spring Boot * Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs * Strong understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems * Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL * Experience integrating frontend applications with backend services * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills * Experience working in Agile development environments Preferred Skills: * Experience with data governance, metadata management, or data lineage platforms * Familiarity with enterprise integration patterns and event-driven architectures * Experience with Docker and Kubernetes * Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices * Experience with automated testing frameworks for UI and backend applications * Familiarity with graph-based or data visualization-heavy applications * Experience working in highly regulated enterprise environments Key Responsibilities: * Design and develop modern, responsive user interfaces using React * Build scalable backend services and REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot * Translate business requirements into technical solutions * Develop integrations supporting data lineage, metadata management, and enterprise systems * Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams * Participate in application design, development, testing, deployment, and support * Optimize applications for performance, scalability, maintainability, and security * Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing initiatives * Maintain high standards of code quality and engineering best practices * Support end-to-end feature delivery across frontend and backend components Frontend/Backend Split: Approximately 60% Frontend / 40% Backend Mindlance is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate in employment on the basis of – Minority/Gender/Disability/Religion/LGBTQI/Age/Veterans.
