Business Analyst
Requirements: * Excellent written and spoken English (near-native or native level). Client-facing reports and summaries must be clear, professional, and easy for non-technical readers to follow * 5+ years as a Business Analyst on software delivery engagements (B2B / SaaS or enterprise platforms preferred) * Proactive and organized: you follow through without constant reminders, keep backlog and reporting current, and raise gaps or risks early * Strong requirements and ticket quality: enough detail for engineering and QA to start work with minimal back-and-forth (scope, acceptance criteria, and key edge cases) * Hands-on ClickUp (or similar): comfortable with boards, statuses, priorities, and filters; you work from the same source of truth as the delivery team. * Comfortable using Cursor (or comparable AI-assisted tools) to draft and refine reports, memos, and deck copy, with you responsible for accuracy, tone, and alignment with the Project Lead before anything goes to the client. * Experience turning delivery status into client-ready updates (written reports, executive summaries, or slide decks) * Works well as the Project Lead’s close delivery partner on priorities, reporting cadence, and planned vs delivered tracking * Experience working with engineering, QA, and DevOps in a release-oriented environment (enhancements, defects, hotfixes, staged/production promotion) * Reliable and professional in a remote team: dependable attendance, responsive on async channels, and focused in client and team meetings * Integrity in reporting: numbers and status reflect what was actually delivered * Product Owner–style backlog ownership: comfortable owning priorities, writing/refining tickets, and representing product decisions to the client and the team (not only writing status reports). Nice-to-Have: * Experience on dual-track programs (live product support plus modernization in parallel) * Familiarity with API / integration projects and QA/release gates * Exposure to fintech, payments, or operations-heavy B2B platforms * Comfort preparing delivery metrics for leadership (throughput, priority mix, planned vs delivered) * Experience supporting client demos or deliverables reviews, not only written reports. Responsibilities: * Own the BA workstream end to end with minimal oversight: you plan your week, drive your deliverables, and close loops without the Project Lead chasing you * Lead product discovery and brainstorming with the client: run structured calls, ask the right questions, capture decisions, and turn conversation into clear backlog items and next steps * Own client understanding of the product and platform on this engagement: learn the domain, map workflows, and help the client articulate needs so delivery stays aligned with how their business actually operates * Partner with the Project Lead as a high-performing peer, not a task-taker: bring options, tradeoffs, and recommendations backed by data from ClickUp and delivery facts, not opinions alone * Lead client reporting and presentations: draft, structure, and present outcomes clearly (what shipped, impact, risks, next steps) in executive-friendly language * Maintain backlog and ticket quality in ClickUp so engineering and QA can execute with minimal rework (scope, acceptance criteria, validations, edge cases) * Push back when needed, professionally and with evidence (scope creep, unclear asks, unrealistic dates, missing dependencies), and propose practical alternatives * Translate technical delivery into plain-language business outcomes for written reports, summaries, and slide decks * Support release-oriented delivery with engineering, QA, and DevOps (priorities, readiness, handoffs across environments) * Know how to prepare for client reviews and demos (agenda, highlights, open items) and represent the account with strong communication and attention to detail * Use Cursor to move faster on drafts, while you own accuracy, tone, and final quality before anything goes to the client * Anticipate gaps and risks early (unclear requirements, reporting holes, missing client inputs) and resolve or escalate with context, not surprises * Stay highly responsive and reliable in a remote team: async updates, meeting readiness, and consistent follow-through. About project The project involves developing a next-generation property management and operations platform used by multiple stakeholders across a large organisation. It brings together several interconnected applications, including tenant, manager, and integrator portals, built on a unified architecture to streamline workflows, automate data exchange, and enhance visibility across business processes. The platform is being modernised from the ground up, transitioning legacy systems into a modular .NET-based architecture hosted in the Azure Cloud. It features API-driven communication, enhanced data integrity, and real-time synchronisation between services. Key objectives include improving system scalability, maintainability, and user experience, while implementing test automation, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tools to ensure consistent quality across environments. The team follows Agile delivery practices, working closely across backend, frontend, QA, DevOps, and product disciplines to deliver a secure, efficient, and future-ready enterprise solution.
