Elite Sports Performance \& Physical Therapy and Elite Health \& Fitness Center in Stoughton, MA are currently seeking a motivated and talented Strength and Conditioning Coach to join our Sports Performance and Personal Training team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone relatively new to the sports performance/strength and conditioning field who is interested in gaining experience and an opportunity to grow with a strong and established company. We offer a fully-equipped sports performance and physical therapy center with a variety of specialized training equipment and large turf surface for speed and agility training, in addition to a full-service fitness center. We also recently began offering HYROX training programs to our current offerings. Key responsibilities include: * Provide high quality, evidence-based strength, conditioning, agility and speed training and coaching to a variety of clients with a particular focus on athletes ranging from ages 10-22 (middle school, high school and college). * Assess clients using the Functional Movement Screen and other assessment tools. * Perform baseline athlete assessment testing and re-testing to track client progress. * Design individualized and team training programs for a variety of athletes. * Assist in marketing and selling our sports performance services at our facility, community outreach events, and through social media marketing efforts. * Assist in the design of marketing flyers, promotional materials, and social media posts. * Manage incoming leads for sports performance programs and provide prompt response to all inquiries regarding sports performance programs. * Serve as a professional, positive, knowledgeable, and inspiring role model to our athletes and clients. * Work cooperatively as a key member of a dynamic team of trainers and physical therapists. Qualifications: * Degree in Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology, Physical Education, Health Sciences, or Athletic Training and/or a current accredited certification as a personal trainer or strength \& conditioning specialist. * Current CSCS certification or CFSC certification is preferred but not required. If not currently held, the ideal candidate is interested in obtaining one of these certifications in the near future. * Current CPR/first aid certification required. * Experience with ABC and Trainerize software is a plus but not required. * Previous training/coaching and program design experience or relevant internship experience and a passion for working with athletes and the field of sports performance training. * Reliability, dependability and a high level of professionalism and accountability. * Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. * The ability to help create and sustain a fun, supportive, and positive community for our athletes.
