JOB SUMMARY The BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER of STRATEGIC INFRASTRUCTURE will be responsible for driving growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities in commercial markets. This role develops strong client relationships, manages accounts, and provides consultative solutions for commercial maintenance, service, new build roof projects, and re-roof projects. The position requires collaboration with internal teams to prepare proposals, review scopes, and ensure customer satisfaction. Candidates should have strong sales skills, and the ability to communicate with decision makers. Success will be measured by revenue growth, market expansion, and client retention. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: IDENTIFY, pursue, and secure new business opportunities in commercial Roofing markets. Specifically data center and manufacturing realm. DEVELOP and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients through networking, referrals, cold calling, industry events, and trade shows. DOCUMENT all contacts and sales activity in the software program (Salesforce) for tracking. PREPARE and deliver professional proposals, RFP responses, and presentations tailored to the customer needs. MAINTAIN and expand long-term relationships with key clients and strategic accounts. CALLABORATE with internal teams to ensure customer expectations are met and exceeded. SERVE as primary point of contact for clients, providing roofing expertise and consultation. HANDLE after hours phone calls and report them to the appropriate department. SUPPORT awareness through participation in trade shows, BOMA, IFMA, and any other group deemed necessary by management. COMMUNICATE all duties daily to the Sales Manager, including timely processing of customer documents to allow for timely processing of invoices. SUPPORT and contribute to long-term initiatives that drive the growth and strategic objectives of Platinum Roofing LLC. ATTEND weekly meetings for sales and service. ATTEND monthly sales training. ATTEND all team meetings. PROVIDE the customer with the best scope of work for the job, showing fairness and honesty in every situation. DOCUMENT all conversations, deals, and incoming emails withing Salesforce to allow the entire sales team to remain up to date with all business within the department. PERFORMS OTHER ESSENTIAL DUTIES AS ASSIGNED. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Results-oriented with a strong drive for achieving and exceeding sales targets Consultive selling approach with the ability to uncover client needs Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, Salesforce, and Outlook * Self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or equivalent Five years of experience in B2B sales PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years in experience Completion of Sandler Sales Training All Microsoft applications and software, Excel, Salesforce and Adobe experience is a plus SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS Must pass a criminal background check Must have a valid driver’s license Must have and maintain a good driving record Must be AGILE. WORK CONDITIONS: Works in a heated and cooled office environment with occasional subjection to the outdoor elements when on a work site or traveling for business purposes. Position Overview Teaching Strategies is seeking an experienced Enterprise Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive new enterprise growth within the Private Child Care (PCC) sector. This senior-level role focuses on expanding strategic relationships with large multi-site child care chains and franchises by delivering high-impact SaaS solutions that improve instructional quality, compliance, and operational outcomes. Roles involves identifying, structuring, and negotiating complex technology partnerships and managing the full deal lifecycle from strategic analysis through closing. The Enterprise BDM reports to the Manager of Enterprise Sales and can be remote, with travel up to 30% to key customer and industry events.### Specific Roles \& Responsibilities: Own and expand a portfolio of named strategic PCC accounts representing $500k+ in ARR potential Develop, manage, and close complex SaaS sales cycles spanning 6–12 months, from discovery to contract Build strategic account plans and land-and-expand playbooks aligned to customer business goals Generate pipeline through direct outreach, LinkedIn, referrals, and close collaboration with ABM and SDR teams Engage executive-level stakeholders including CEOs, COOs, CAO’s, and CTO’s Lead RFI/RFP responses, procurement navigation, and negotiation of pricing, terms, and co-term structures Collaborate with Product, SME’s, and Partner Success to shape solutions and ensure delivery readiness Maintain disciplined forecasting and CRM hygiene in Salesforce, including pipeline coverage and close date accuracy Present customer business cases using program-specific data (e.g., licensing alignment, QRIS impact, staff outcomes) Identify regional or state-level grant and subsidy trends to support compliance-forward sales positioning Participate in pilot program design, center-level rollouts, and stakeholder enablement Serve as a voice of the customer in cross-functional planning and product feedback loops Qualifications: 5+ years of enterprise SaaS sales experience, including 2+ years selling to education, ECE, or regulated service providers Proven track record of meeting or exceeding $1M+ annual quotas in complex, multi-stakeholder deals Strong consultative selling, strategic account planning, and executive presence Proficiency in Salesforce, and Salesloft (or similar) Demonstrated success managing long sales cycles and multi-site rollouts Mission-aligned with Teaching Strategies’ goal of improving outcomes for children and educators Why Teaching Strategies At Teaching Strategies, our solutions and services are only as strong as the teams that create them. Responsibilities Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the plastics film manufacturing sector, specifically in laminate, TPU, and extruded flexible films. Pipeline Development and Management: Manage a pipeline for both short-term and long-term business sales growth within the healthcare, building products, and industrial markets. Strategic Planning: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve growth targets. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients.
