What You’ll Do * Create intuitive and visually engaging digital experiences across web and mobile * Work within and help evolve design systems, reusable UI components and design patterns * Translate customer and business needs into effective design solutions * Support product discovery, planning and prioritisation activities * Collaborate with Product, Developers, UX and Marketing teams to bring designs to life * Review implemented designs and support quality assurance before release * Help improve consistency, accessibility and usability across customer-facing experiences * Contribute to continuous improvement of design processes and workflows What You’ll Bring * A degree in Product Design, UX/UI Design, Interaction Design, Digital Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction or a related field * A portfolio demonstrating digital design work and your thinking behind it * Basic proficiency in Figma or similar design tools * An understanding of UX/UI principles, responsive design and design systems * Strong visual and problem-solving skills * Attention to detail and an interest in accessibility and usability * Strong communication and collaboration skills * A genuine interest in digital products, technology and customer experience Exposure to HTML/CSS, front-end development, A/B testing or data-informed design decisions is an advantage, but not required. About the Role We are looking for a talented UI/UX Designer to join us on a 12-month fixed-term contract and lead the design of the next phase of our AI-powered coaching platform. This is a hands-on, high-impact role based in Melbourne. You will work closely with engineering teams to rapidly prototype and design product experiences(mobile and web) - turning conceptual ideas into friendly, modern, and functional designs that directly shape how thousands of learners experience Getmee. You will design the capabilities and oversee their delivery to production. What You Will Be Doing ● Lead and facilitate co-design workshops and planning sessions with internal and external stakeholders ● Translate ideas and user needs into wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity prototypes in Figma ● Design intuitive, accessible user experiences that balance strong UX with business goals and technical constraints ● Iterate rapidly based on usability testing, user feedback, and stakeholder reviews ● Ensure all UI designs meet accessibility compliance standards (WCAG) ● Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and advisors to ensure design feasibility and alignment ● Identify UX challenges and develop scalable design solutions that improve engagement and outcomes ● Create product demo videos to showcase platform capabilities to internal and external audiences What We Are Looking For ● 5+ years of UI/UX design experience with a strong portfolio of web-based work ● Expert-level Figma skills - wireframes, prototypes, and design systems ● Proven experience running or contributing to co-design and stakeholder workshops ● Strong user-centred design mindset with solid UX research and usability testing capabilities ● Familiarity with WCAG accessibility standards ● Ability to interpret broad, ambiguous concepts and deliver polished, modern design solutions ● Comfortable working independently and thriving in fast-paced, collaborative environments ● Experience creating product demo videos is highly regarded About the Project You will be designing a digital experience that helps learners and their advisors access tailored AI coaching and career support tools.
