Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS) is seeking a DevOps Engineer/ Principal DevOps Engineer at the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. Successful candidates should have a track record as an effective communicator and problem solver who is able to develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. The candidate will be an active part of a Platform Engineering team with expertise in Kubernetes, Cloud, GitLab, and related platform technologies that will be responsible for building, maintaining, and scaling the foundational infrastructure. Summary of Responsibilities As a DevOps engineer, you will combine software development and IT operations to create a more streamlined and efficient development process by implementing and managing the DevOps approach within the organization. Experience working in an Agile environment/working knowledge of Agile principles and practices Experience with project/issue tracking software tools like Jira and Confluence Demonstrates a clear understanding of Microservice Architectures Primary Level Salary Range: $83,400.00 - $125,200.00 Secondary Level Salary Range: $103,600.00 - $155,400.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. Candidate will achieve this through passive evaluations (compliance audits) and active evaluations (vulnerability assessments). Candidate will perform Information Assurance and IT Security tasks to ensure the secure operation of the KBR information systems as a part of the KBR Information Assurance Operations team. Establishes strict program control processes to ensure mitigation of risks and supports obtaining certification and accreditation of systems. This includes process support, analysis support, coordination support, security certification test support, security documentation support, investigations, software research, hardware introduction and release, emerging technology research inspections and periodic audits. Experience working independently and as part of a team in researching data, developing analytical techniques and methodologies is required. A current Information Assurance Manager (IAM) Level I (CAP, Security+ CE) or comparable certification in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M.
