What We're Looking For * Genuine, demonstrated enthusiasm for AI-assisted engineering - daily use of tools like Claude Code, Copilot or equivalent as a core part of how you work. * Significant experience in a Senior DevOps, Platform Engineering or Site Reliability Engineering role. * Deep expertise in public cloud infrastructure, strong Kubernetes and containerisation experience, and proven IaC with Terraform or similar. * Experience designing and maintaining enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines. * Strong understanding of networking, security and cloud architecture, with a track record of improving reliability and operational performance. Desirable * Experience with PCI-DSS, SOC2 or similar regulatory frameworks. * Background in fintech, payments, banking or other regulated industries, including card and payment infrastructure supporting rails such as Faster Payments, SEPA, SWIFT and ACH. * Experience with high-volume transaction platforms, event-driven architectures and API platforms. The technical environment spans AWS, Azure or GCP, Kubernetes or ECS, Terraform, GitHub Actions or similar CI tools, Linux, MySQL/MariaDB/PostgreSQL, Python or Bash, and Prometheus/Grafana-style monitoring. This could suit a senior platform engineer from a payments or regulated fintech background who wants real ownership of a cloud platform and a team that has committed to AI-assisted engineering. The employer cannot provide visa sponsorship; you'll need eligibility to work in the United Kingdom. #Referment
