We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join a global investment bank's Front Office team, supporting the Sales \& Trading business. This role will focus on driving strategic initiatives, delivering technology solutions and improving trading processes across the Front Office environment. Technical Business Analyst (Banking)

Our client is looking for a Technical BA to join them on-site at the London office, on an initial contract until the end of this year (2026). Work pattern: full time, onsite 5 days per week Location: London (City) Rate: £400-500 per day, inside IR35 The BA will provide subject matter expertise and knowledge on Operations processes and systems and work across complex projects for Operations stakeholders. Business analysts are typically involved in all phases of the project life cycle, working closely with both the business users and the technology staff facilitating a clear understanding of the solution being delivered. Responsibilities: Performing requirements gathering and compiling formal Business Requirements, Functional Specification and Technical Design overview documents. Major Responsibilities * Support regulatory trade reporting (CFTC, SEC, CSA, EMIR, FCA) by analyzing requirements, mapping OTC derivative trades, and ensuring compliance. * Manage trade lifecycle events (swaps, options, exotics), including trade capture, validation, and FOBO reconciliation across systems. * Perform data analysis and reconciliation using SQL, Excel, and Duco to resolve breaks and maintain data integrity across platforms. * Collaborate with stakeholders (front office, operations, compliance, IT) to gather requirements, clarify product features, and resolve issues. * Document business requirements and processes through BRDs, JIRA, and Confluence, supporting both Agile and Waterfall delivery models. * Contribute to system integration projects for trade capture platforms (Murex, Calypso, Summit) and support enhancements to risk/collateral systems. * Produce insightful reporting and dashboards using BI tools to track exceptions, exposures, and regulatory metrics.
