Business Operations Associate

Position Summary The Business Operations Associate is a key member of the operations team supporting application management, user acceptance testing, forms and content management, user training and problem resolution. This person will work closely with the Operations Manager to support business processes, training and reporting, system management and data analysis. This role requires a detailed, task-oriented individual with strong communication skills. What will your job entail? Job Responsibilities * Become an expert in our policy issuance and task management systems to provide end-user support, training, configuration management and documentation creation * Manage company data and prepare reports. * Identify and resolve problems related to business operations. * Identify opportunities for process improvement and propose solutions. * Collaborate with the Sales Team, Underwriting, Accounting, and Actuaries to integrate operations processes. * Ensure operations comply with regulations and internal policies. Requirements: No specific technology expertise is required, but the ability to learn new technology and business processes is of the utmost importance. * Insurance experience is beneficial but not required Work Experience And Education * Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience. Licenses \& Certifications * Certified Automation Professional (CAP), Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certification in Process Excellence (CPE) is a plus. Position Summary We are seeking an Operations Analyst to support Middle Market Business operations by improving workflows, system performance, and cross-functional execution. Position Summary The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for collaborating with business stakeholders to gather and document detailed requirements, creating comprehensive system design specifications for new systems or enhancements. The role conducts system audits, utilizes advanced analytics to identify opportunities for enhancing scalability and efficiency within the IT infrastructure. Essential Functions * Business unit and I.T. team facilitation and coordination. * Author requirements and specifications documents for insurance software projects. * Specify, document, and test additions and modifications to the system. * Troubleshoot application errors and user issues. * In conjunction with users, isolate problems, determine solutions or alternatives, and develop and implement a resolution. * Creates or modifies complex Excel spreadsheets and Word documents incorporated into the agency management system. * Ensures the integrity of the system at all times including data integrity when developing, maintaining or enhancing setups and reports. + Author test plans and scripts and coordinate user acceptance testing. + Author project status reports. + Communicate requirements and specifications to offshore development staff. + Liaison to offshore development team. + Collaborates with resources across the organization to pursue continual process optimization and innovation. + Collaborate with senior technicians on technical designs and PMO on project scheduling. + Authoring simple SQL and reading complex SQL. + Special projects to be assigned as required.
