Onboarding Specialist

We’re looking for a: Specialist in Central Operations The Specialist - Onboarding is responsible for guiding pre-identified qualified candidates through the Randstad Sourceright Payroll Solutions onboarding process. This person will be responsible for effectively managing the talent onboarding experience, guiding them through a successful orientation including welcome correspondence, legal forms, TAPA, compliance, I9 documents and ‘ready to start’ conversations. Additional responsibilities will include: * Onboarding communications – written, calls and text (utilizing standardized templates where applicable) * Ordering and managing required screenings * Managing VMS activity where applicable * Tracker Management – documenting in real time * Managing eVerify and I9 compliance process with 100% accuracy * Document all contact, inquiries and resolutions within appropriate system(s) * Proactively communicating with the talent and clients/internal partners during the onboarding process * Partner with appropriate parties to troubleshoot, escalate, and resolve issues while meeting SLA’s * Reviewing onboarding requests to ensure roles/job descriptions meet RSR guidelines for risk, geographic location, minimum wage and scope * Placing newly hired candidates on order and assignment, ensuring 100% accuracy in all Order \& Assignment details * Monitor onboarding automations for errors, notify leaders and process manually until automation restored Education * High school diploma or equivalent required / Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred Work Experience * Minimum two years experience in payroll operations/HR/staffing/customer service required * Familiarity with vendor management systems (VMS) and payroll tools/solutions is a plus Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities * Strong customer focus and customer service skills * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Excel or Google Sheets proficiency is a plus * Proficient with the Google environment including Gmail, Docs, Sheets and Slides * Excellent organizational and time management skills * Strong problem solving skills * Basic payroll knowledge to include federal, state, county, city regulations pertaining to overtime, sick accruals/pay, civic obligations, paid time off, and taxes is a plus * Detail oriented with a concern for continuous improvement * Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively Supervisory Responsibility ☒ No supervisory responsibility Organizational Structure: * Job Title this position reports: Team Lead (Sr) or Manager * Job Titles directly reporting to this position: N/A When you join Randstad, you join… * A specialized team delivering tailored solutions for clients and talent, enabling meaningful impact. * An equitable, inclusive culture where everyone can contribute and thrive. * A workplace prioritizing growth and empowering teams to adapt and excel. * A company dedicated to supporting you to perform at your best. * A commitment to pay for performance with transparency, fairness, and competitiveness. our purpose Our purpose is deeply rooted in the belief that by knowing our clients and talent better than anyone else, we can make connections that change lives and transform businesses. The base salary range for this position is $41,600 - $43,680 per year Pay offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors including the candidate’s education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Based on eligibility, a successful candidate’s total compensation may include a variable pay plan including bonus(es) and/or commission(s). In setting compensation, Randstad complies with all local wage and hour laws and while the pay range listed above is an annual amount, non-exempt employees will be paid hourly and therefore receive the hourly equivalent.
