Product Manager - Banking as a Service (m/f/d)

Team As a Banking-as-a-Service Product Manager, you will join a cross-functional agile team of software engineers within a larger Tribe. Your team owns core APIs that our partners use to: onboard end customers create and manage deposit accounts These capabilities are exposed via APIs and are critical to partner conversion, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. Your role is not to “take requirements”, but to identify, frame, and solve problems at the intersection of partner needs, technical constraints, and regulatory requirements. You will collaborate closely with: Engineers and your Engineering Lead Internal product, compliance, operations, and commercial teams External partners and vendors integrating with our platform This role combines product discovery, delivery, and stakeholder alignment in a regulated, high-impact domain. Your Responsibilities As Product Manager, you will be accountable for the outcome and evolution of your product area. You will: + Own the domain of Customer \& Account Management, developing a deep understanding of partner workflows, user journeys, and pain points + Identify and prioritise high-impact opportunities that improve partner experience, platform scalability, and regulatory robustness + Translate insights into clear product goals and outcomes, guiding the team toward the most valuable initiatives + Define and continuously refine the product roadmap, aligned with Raisin Bank’s strategy and validated through learning and delivery + Collaborate with the engineering lead and engineers to explore solution options, assess trade-offs, and ensure feasibility without dictating implementation - Work closely with partners to understand their integration challenges and validate whether solutions actually improve their experience - Align stakeholders by making prioritisation decisions transparent, explicit, and evidence-based - Continuously evaluate success using data, feedback, and operational signals, and adjust direction when assumptions prove wrong + Product Domain - Customer \& Account Management (including onboarding, lifecycle management, and account creation flows) Your Profile We are looking for a product manager who combines analytical thinking, technical understanding, and stakeholder empathy. You bring: + 2+ years of experience as a Product Manager, Business Analyst, or similar role in banking, fintech, or a regulated technology environment + Hands-on experience in Customer and/or Account Management domains + Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills + Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams with a customer-centric mindset + A solid understanding of RESTful APIs, webhooks, and cloud-based systems + Confidence working with engineers and discussing technical trade-offs + Excellent written and spoken English (German is a plus, but not required)Ideally, you also have experience with: + KYC / onboarding processes + Deposit account management in a banking or BaaS context + Regulated environments with complex stakeholder landscapes Join our mission, join our team – and grow with us! This position works closely with UK and US teams to set up reliable financial practices and day-to-day support for a growing Restaurant presence.
