The Career Opportunity: We're looking for a Senior Product Owner to play a critical role in the day-to-day execution of our product development process. In this position, you'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including engineering, design, and go-to-market stakeholders—to translate business and user needs into actionable product work. This role calls for a strong, proactive product owner capable of autonomously driving multiple projects in parallel. This position is ideal for someone who excels in agile execution, backlog management, and delivering features that make a meaningful impact. The position is remote. Areas of Accountability: The Senior Product Owner has responsibility for the following outcomes: Partner closely with product leaders, engineering, design, QA, and other internal teams to deliver solutions that meet defined requirements, timelines, and KPI’s. Lead and facilitate product development execution by creating all the necessary Agile artifacts and being actively involved in all Agile ceremonies. Working closely and collaboratively with engineering to turn it all into reality. Adaptively execute. Lead the team to fluidly pivot when needed. Prioritize the product backlog, making data-driven decisions to maximize value. Break down complex features into user stories with clear acceptance criteria and collaborate with the development team to ensure successful implementation. Competencies for Success 5+ years of experience in Product Management or Product Ownership, including 3+ years in a senior or lead Product Owner role Proven experience owning and delivering complex, customer-facing SaaS products, preferably within healthcare, wellness, or other regulated industries Demonstrated expertise translating business strategy and customer needs into clear, actionable product requirements Strong command of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban), including backlog management, story writing, acceptance criteria, and sprint execution Track record of success partnering closely with engineering, design, and QA teams in an iterative delivery model Ability to manage multiple workstreams while maintaining clarity, prioritization, and focus on outcomes Hands-on experience with modern product tools, such as Jira, Confluence, Figma, or similar platforms * Strong facilitation skills for backlog refinement, sprint ceremonies, and stakeholder reviews At PracticeTek we carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors to determine our offers of employment. This role reports directly to the VP, Market Leader for Vision and Dental/Ortho and serves as their primary operating partner for the Dental/Ortho segment, a multi-product portfolio with over $25M in recurring revenue. This leader will be accountable for the segment’s operational outcomes—customer experience, service delivery, scalability, and operational excellence—while partnering closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, Finance, and Customer teams to drive sustainable growth. The ideal candidate blends strategic leadership with hands-on operational execution, thrives in cross-functional environments, and has experience scaling operations in SaaS, healthcare/dental technology, and/or workflow-heavy software environments. Key Responsibilities Segment Operational Leadership Translate segment strategy into operating plans, staffing models, budgets, KPIs, and quarterly priorities. Own the segment’s business rhythm: weekly pipeline and forecasting, monthly KPI reviews, quarterly planning, and launch readiness. Drive alignment across product lines while preserving product-specific positioning, workflows, and customer needs. Identify and prioritize the highest-impact initiatives across growth, retention, customer experience, and operational scalability.
