Business Analyst
POSITION: BUSINESS ANALYST DEPARTMENT: PLANNING LOCATION: CAPE TOWN PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: To ensure that systems and business processes incorporate industry standards and best practices; and to provide business process and technology support to users to continuously improve business efficiency and productivity. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Support existing business processes \& technology and propose new developments and changes based on business requirements Business process design (functional and technical specifications) Manage, test and implement system changes Provide internal User training, compile and maintain training material and change management System consulting Business Process analysis Project management (i.e. develop and monitor project plan; liaise with relevant stakeholders; manage and control system costs, budget and resources) Staying abreast of relevant regulations and compliance matters Document, maintain and control Business Standard Operating Procedures Report development and writing Project \& priority management Manage a small team Involvement in ad hoc projects if required JOB REQUIREMENTS Grade 12 Relevant tertiary qualification 3+ years systems/business analyst experience Retail experience will be an advantage Advanced computer literacy: Google workspace Proven change management experience Experience in Business Intelligence (BO) tool advantageous Expert understanding of Merchandise processes will be advantageous Willingness to travel to the African countries on an ad hoc basis South African citizen Competencies required: Honesty, Passion \& Resourcefulness; Leadership; Communication; Interpersonal skills; Analytical thinking; Problem solving; Decision making; Growth mind-set with a “can do” attitude; Performance driven; Build and maintain healthy business relationships; Commercial sense.
