Specific Duties and Responsibilities: Delivery of dietetics services including creating an individualized food plan for each player Maintain excellent records of dietary interventions for each player within the team athlete management system and regularly communicate player progress to key stake holders Interpretation of body composition tests, counselling and goal setting Complete hydration assessments on all players and craft individual player management strategies Co-ordinate blood test assessment, interpret results and provide intervention as appropriate Management of ‘at-risk’, eating disorder or low energy cases in close consultation with the team physician and psychologist Stock player fridges as needed with appropriate hydration Coordinate menus with players’ personal chefs Source new personal chefs for player, upon request from players or agents Provide support when need to the executive chef on food service provision at hotels, flights and stadiums when the team is travelling and for breakfast, lunch, pre and post-game meals when in Milwaukee. Design and implement recovery nutrition during and immediately after training sessions Function as an integrated member of the performance staff, including close collaboration with the performance director, strength and conditioning, therapy, sport psychologist, external consultants, coaches, administration and athletes Order equipment and food product with excellent organization and budgetary skills Create a recipe bank of healthy meals for players Qualification Requirements: Registered dietician or international equivalent Sports science qualification is high desirable ISAK trained (Anthropometry) All offers for employment with the Milwaukee Bucks are contingent upon the candidate having successfully completed a criminal background check.
