Healthcare Research & Data Analyst

Clarivate Analytics is looking for a curious, creative, team worker and detail-oriented individual for the role of a Analyst. In this role, you will work with a team of data scientists to mine and make sense of three large, distinct datasets that focus on three different aspects of the US healthcare market: hospital purchasing, hospital claims and EHR (electronic health records). About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments * Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience wrangling through large data using SQL and at least 2 years of experience on data analysis tools like python/R.. * Engineers (B.E.) or B. Pharm candidates preferably with the following disciplines (B.E. in Biotechnology, Medical Electronics, B. Pharmacy). * Expertise in MS SQL. * Strong MS Office and Excel skills is mandatory. * Expertise working on Healthcare or Lifesciences domain projects. * Expertise in understanding data variables and connecting the dots in various datasets. * Expertise in handling and manipulating large datasets. * Should have handled short/long term projects end to end * Expertise on statistical methods * Ability to do secondary research and synthesize the findings. It would be great if you also had . . . * Understanding of Med tech data and Healthcare in the US. * Exposure to Med tech or Claims/Pharmacy data. * Experience working with data from data vendors. What will you be doing in this role? * Understand the worldview and pain points of Clarivate customers, working closely with them as a problem-solver. From Fortune 500 companies to smaller startups, you will converse with high-profile clients regularly and be expected to both present and defend conclusions to them. * Design, develop, and maintain processes and systems to analyze structured \& unstructured “big data” sources. * Develop and code software programs, algorithms, and automated processes to cleanse, integrate and evaluate large datasets from multiple disparate sources with an emphasis on US medical devices and supplies markets. * Evaluate data outputs with a keen eye for details, proactively finding potential errors and omissions. * Identify opportunities and issues for data analysis and experiments, with bias towards driving customer delight. * Contribute your vision; influence the evolution of our products, data models, and data usage strategy. Hours of Work Monday to Friday, working hours 12PM to 9PM IST, Hybrid working mode. Associate Healthcare Research & Data Analyst

We are looking for an Associate Analyst to join our LifeScience and Healthcare Products business group in Noida. This is an amazing opportunity to be a member of a talented and vibrant Biopharma Insights team. The team consists of about 100 people. We have a great skill set in market research and assessment, analysis and insights and we would love to speak with you if you have skills in pharmaceutical market research. About You: Experience, education, skills, and accomplishments * Master’s degree in pharmacy/life sciences/pharmaceutical management is required. * Relevant experience of 1+ years of in the biopharma, healthcare, market research, or financial sector is required. Global experience and experience in directly working with global stakeholders is preferable. * In-depth knowledge of at least one therapeutic area is required. * Excellent attention to detail. * Outstanding communication skills (written and oral) with ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and objectively in both written and spoken English * Experience in analyzing and interpreting complex datasets It would be great if you also had the following * Advanced degree (PhD in pharmacy or life sciences) is a plus. * A flexible and collaborative approach to work. * Ability to interact and build relationships with co-workers * Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines What will you be doing in this role? The Therapy Analyst role consists of three broad functions: 1) primary and secondary market research; 2) writing capabilities; 3) project management and execution. As part of the role, you will be * Critically analyzing and interpreting complex clinical data and commercial information from a multitude of data sources, and draw conclusions to evaluate market trends, assess commercial opportunities and build market forecasts. * Translate domain/therapeutic expertise, primary market research and secondary market research data into knowledge and insights for client needs. * Design primary market research surveys including questionnaires and conduct primary research via surveys with medical and health experts. * Effectively communicate these insights to the appropriate audience via written reports.
