Medical Practice Administrator
Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Medical Practice Administrator to lead the operational excellence of our healthcare facility. You will oversee daily administrative functions, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and manage human resources to support exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive approach, extensive medical office management experience, and a passion for optimizing practice performance. Duties Oversee all aspects of medical practice operations, including patient scheduling, coding, and medical records management. Supervise administrative staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and human resources functions to foster a motivated and efficient team. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and other healthcare laws to safeguard patient information and maintain confidentiality. Coordinate with medical providers, nursing staff, and specialists to streamline clinic workflows and improve patient outcomes in acute care settings. Utilize EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Modernizing Medicine effectively to manage medical records, coding accuracy, and documentation standards. Foster a positive work environment that promotes professional development. Qualifications Proven experience in medical office management or healthcare administration. Extensive knowledge of EMR/EHR systems and specialty practice experience is a plus. Supervisory experience managing administrative teams in fast-paced healthcare environments. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively across various administrative functions. Strong communication skills to collaborate with providers, staff members, patients and external partners effectively.
