Physical Therapist
Duties: - Evaluate patients' medical history and perform physical examinations to determine the best course of treatment - Develop personalized treatment plans based on patients' needs and goals - Implement therapeutic exercises and techniques to improve patients' mobility, strength, and function - Provide manual therapy, including trigger point therapy, to address musculoskeletal issues - Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for managing their condition and preventing future injuries - Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive care for patients - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records Skills: - Pediatrics: Experience working with pediatric patients and knowledge of age-appropriate treatment techniques - OPD: Familiarity with working in a OPD setting and understanding of the unique challenges and protocols involved - Trigger point therapy: Proficiency in using trigger point therapy to alleviate muscle pain and tension - Anatomy knowledge: Strong understanding of human anatomy and how it relates to movement and function - Physiology knowledge: Knowledge of physiological processes that impact physical therapy outcomes - Patient care: Ability to provide compassionate care and establish a positive rapport with patients - Medical terminology: Proficient in understanding and using medical terminology related to physical therapy - Acute care: Experience working with patients in acute care settings, such as post-surgery or trauma Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of duties or skills.
