Manager, Talent Business Advisor - GPS Consulting AI\&E OP Talent Business Advisors focus on shaping the way Talent services are delivered to the Business by partnering with key business decision makers and establishing and maintaining a deep understanding of the business environment, strategy, and people implications Recruiting for this role ends on 6th Feb,2026 . Work you'll do Talent Business Advisors work closely with key business leaders to provide Talent consultative solutions tailored to support the execution of strategic priorities for the Practice. Partners with key decision-making business leaders to craft, execute and drive the delivery of the Talent strategy. Serves as the single point of contact for all Talent-related initiatives and activities. Provides strategic and consultative Talent services to business leaders. Identifies and counsels the business on Talent issues that affect the success of the business and articulates how Talent can help drive business performance. Leveraging the Centers of Excellence (COEs) and Core Talent Services (CTS), Business Advisors have increased capacity to deliver deep industry insights and market leading practices that underpin and contribute to the definition and execution of business priorities. The Team The Talent Business Advisor organization champions a "One Talent Team" through collaboration with the Centers of Excellence (COEs) and Talent Services (TS) to deliver integrated Talent services to support Business strategies and priorities. Qualifications Required: Bachelor's Degree, minimum of 8 years of Human Resource Management or related experience Proficient Microsoft Office skills Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future Ability to travel 0-10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve Preferred: Professional certification (PHR or SPHR) preferred Strong negotiation and conflict resolutions skills Track record of flexibility and learning agility Ability to manage multiple complex projects with a virtual team (clients and team members) Demonstrates creative problem-solving skills Identification and resolution of issues effectively and appropriately Ability to perform complex data analysis including data metrics affecting utilization Ability to properly handle confidential information The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $97600 to $179900. You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. Ref 383 Vacancy type People Experience Location Leeds, Manchester Employment type Full-time Closing date 17/02/2026 Description Talent Management Advisor (HR Advisor) – 3-month FTC Northern Regional Group The role The Talent Management Advisor will work across the whole employee cohort of the client population, offering advice and guidance on key issues such as employee relations, employee performance and employee retention. They will work closely with the Talent Management Leads. The role will require regular travel across regional offices in Manchester, Leeds, Edinburgh and Inverness. The responsibilities The TMA will have responsibility for the majority of ER issues that arise in their relevant function area and require good knowledge and training, confidence in resolving issues informally and advising the relevant line managers and/or Staff Partners on good and fair practices. They will help guide managers on HR matters and be the first point of contact. Coaching relevant line managers and/or Staff Partners on good and fair practices. The role undertakes specific project work for group or firm-wide initiatives, working closely with the TML e.g., ensuring timelines are met, deliverables are set and contribute towards the development of the content for these initiatives. The TMA will provide support, mentoring and advice to the People Operations Administration team and provide training and support as well as be at hand to help answer ad hoc queries, working closely with the People Operations Manager. The TMA will be comfortable with analysing and presenting data e.g., monthly MI reporting, engagement survey results, exit interviews, leavers and sickness analysis. In order that these may make a meaningful impact on the people management of the Northern Regional Group. The TMA will work closely with the Head of People Operations to review current processes to check for quality of outputs and value delivered by the People Operations team. Collaboration across the People Operations and the wider People Experience teams is key to the success of this role. The TMA will work closely with the TML to support the Partners and leaders within the client group supported, and where required and appropriate, lead certain projects and initiatives. The TMA will be expected to share knowledge and lessons learnt with the broader People Experience team to ensure any necessary changes and updates to processes, policies and systems have been made. You Requires broad or specialised knowledge from advanced specialised training, work experience or a relevant degree or equivalent. Relevant experience within specific area of work in professional services or a partnership. Able to use judgement / experience to tackle issues and seek advice on more complex problems. Strong analytical skills, based on systems and models relevant to the field of work. Strong computer literacy and understanding of relevant software. Keeps up to date on all required training such as information security. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; including communicating with technical and non-technical clients and staff at all organisational levels. High levels of commitment and ability to act when necessary. Team-focused mentality, understanding that the function must work collaboratively to drive success.
