You will have a passion for designing value-creating and measurable service experiences – to be able to map how a service works end-to-end (the processes, handoffs, policy constraints) and how it is experienced by the people using it. This is a hands-on role for someone equally comfortable in a journey map and a process flow, whether your background is in service design, UX or business analysis. You will build and evolve service design blueprints, conduct research to surface user and business needs, and translate both into measurable improvements across the user experience and business process. Collaboration * Work collaboratively across teams, disciplines, and regions to support a diverse approach to problem-solving. * Facilitate workshops that bring process and experience perspectives into the same room. * Share service design and process improvement best practices with stakeholders, demonstrating with evidence the value your design work has delivered to the business and end-user. Testing \& Iteration * Prototype and test service concepts and process changes with real users before full rollout * Gather feedback to refine and improve service designs, iterating based on both analytics and qualitative input. Innovation \& Trends * Stay current with service design and process improvement methods, tools, and technologies. * Champion the adoption of best practices across the CoE and wider business. What You'll Bring Experience * Minimum of 4 years of commercial experience spanning service design, UX or business analysis, ideally with demonstrable exposure to both process/operational improvement and user-centred research methods, preferably in a large, global enterprise. * Proven experience turning research and process analysis into actionable, measurable insight. * Practical knowledge of iterative, human-centred design approaches * Comfortable working across large global teams and time zones, collaborating with a diverse set of stakeholders, and with a moderate degree of ambiguity Skills * Strong knowledge of service design and journey mapping alongside process improvement methods (e.g. process mapping, Lean, value stream analysis). * Working knowledge of mapping tools (e.g. Miro, Visio, etc.) and prototyping tools (e.g. Figma) * Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and quantitative / behavioural measurement. * Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions, translate between operational / process language and experience / design language to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Personal Attributes * Resourceful thinker with a passion for solving complex, cross-cutting problems. * Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. * Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a global, hybrid working environment. * Outcome and measurement driven and focused on solving both user and business problems. * Adaptive thinker who can flex methods and process to project demands and deadlines. * Hands-on practitioner able to think conceptually and work practically. * Clear storyteller and communicator, equally fluent explaining a process flow or a user journey. GEP WorldwideClark, NJ

$115,000 - $130,000/yr

As a Senior UX Designer, you'll own the end-to-end experience for major parts of the GEP Quantum Intelligence platform. We're looking for an innovator with deep Figma expertise: someone who gets genuinely excited about presenting their ideas and telling the story behind them, and who is deeply passionate about how AI is changing the user experience. You'll work day to day with product managers, engineers, data scientists and procurement subject-matter experts, and you'll be a go-to voice on design quality and craft across the team. This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days onsite in our GEP Clark NJ Headquarters. What You'll Do * Own the experience end to end: Lead design from discovery through launch for complex enterprise workflows across source-to-pay and supply chain, from early concepts to polished, shippable UI. * Make complex data easy to act on: Design dashboards, control towers, spend analytics, and data-dense tables and filters that help users spot issues and make decisions quickly. * Lead how we design for AI: Partner with product and data science to shape conversational and assistive features, recommendations, and agent-driven automation. Use what you learn, along with product usage data, to drive decisions. * Design for the low-code studio: Help shape the GEP QUANTUM tools that let customers and partners configure and build their own apps, where the user is often a builder rather than an end user. * Partner closely with product and engineering: Write clear specs, give thoughtful design reviews, and stay involved through build so what ships matches what we designed. * Tell the story behind the work: Present your ideas and rationale with energy and a clear narrative to product leaders, senior executives and client-facing teams, and take feedback well. * Raise the bar: Mentor other designers, share best practices, and push for accessibility (WCAG) and consistency across the product. * Work across time zones: Collaborate with teammates in the US, India and Europe. What You Bring * 6+ years of UX or product design experience, with a strong portfolio of shipped enterprise B2B software (SaaS preferred) * A portfolio that shows your process clearly: the problem, your research, how you made trade-offs, and the measurable result * Strong interaction design, information architecture and visual design skills, including designing for complex, multi-step workflows and large data sets * Expert-level fluency in Figma, including components, variables, auto layout, advanced prototyping and scalable libraries * Hands-on experience with user research methods such as interviews, usability testing, surveys and journey mapping * Experience building or contributing to a design system * Working knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and responsive design for web applications * Comfort working closely with engineers in an agile environment, and a good grasp of what's technically feasible in modern web frameworks * A natural storyteller who loves presenting ideas, with the confidence to bring executives, engineers and clients along with a clear narrative * Deep, genuine passion for how AI is changing the user experience: you follow the space closely, experiment with AI tools in your own work, and have a point of view you can defend * An innovator's mindset, with a track record of bringing fresh ideas to a team and turning them into something real * Bachelor's degree in design, HCI, human factors, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience Nice to Have * Experience in procurement, supply chain, logistics, finance or another workflow-heavy enterprise domain * Experience designing AI, machine learning or agentic features, including conversational interfaces and human-in-the-loop patterns * Experience designing data visualization, analytics dashboards or control-tower style monitoring tools * Experience designing for low-code or no-code platforms, configuration tools or admin experiences * Familiarity with Microsoft ecosystem products such as Azure, SharePoint and Office, and with how enterprise software integrates with ERPs like SAP and Oracle * Comfort with HTML, CSS or front-end basics, and with AI-assisted design and prototyping tools * Experience mentoring other designers or leading design critiques * Experience working with globally distributed teams Salary Range: $115,000 – $130,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
