Our client is a Centurion based software development company looking for an experienced Software Test Analyst with 5+ years of experience in Web based applications. Duties \& Responsibilities: You will become part of an exciting team of Test Analysts whose focus is to ensure that the developed Web based software is of a high standard and quality. You will work closely with the Software Developers and Business Analysts and will participate in all aspects of the development lifecycle including specification, user-interface design, testing and deployment. You will be responsible for the following: - Compile testing plans for the developed software - Perform testing and quality assurance - Assist the team in improving the testing process - Assist with client support - Be a mentor for junior/intermediate Testers Depending on your experience and contribution, you can also: - Become a Team Leader - Form part of the group of seniors who assist with decisions regarding high level planning, resource allocation, implementations, etc. Minimum Requirements: Applicable qualification, ISTQB and tertiary qualification preferred South African citizen, fluent in Afrikaans and English 5+ years experience in Web application testing and quality assurance with the following requirements: - Experience with software test tools and processes - Experience with automated testing software will be an advantage - Experience with testing complex and intricate processes - Technical knowledge will be an advantage (database structures, SQL, HTML) - Experience in MS Office including Excel, Word - Experience with different Web browsers (at least Chrome, Internet Explorer, Firefox) - Highly proficient in writing and reading English - Experience in creating of test documentation - System support experience Personal Attributes: You are required to have the following personal attributes: - Self-motivated - Excellent team player - Have a passion for high quality, accuracy and excellent client service - Very good communication skills - High level of emotional intelligence - Attention to detail - Easy to work with - Positive attitude - Excellent problem-solving skills Job Type: Full-time Pay: R40 000,00 - R50 000,00 per month Work Location: In person

Senior Business Analyst/ Tester

Summary of role The role entails leading requirements analysis, high-level solution design, coordination with development teams, comprehensive testing, and supporting deployment, user training, and post go-live activities to ensure a successful implementation. Responsibilities: Analyze current logistics processes (e.g. routing, yard operations, driver payments) and capture detailed business and functional requirements, including mapping AS-IS and TO-BE workflows. Ensure all requirements are clearly documented and approved by stakeholders. Develop and document high-level solution designs that meet business requirements and align with TMS best practices. Facilitate design workshops to validate solutions and drive consensus with the vendors. Plan and execute comprehensive testing of the TMS solution, including system integration tests and end-to-end scenario validations. Log defects, work with developers to resolve issues, and retest fixes. Coordinate and support user acceptance testing (UAT) with business users to confirm the solution meets all requirements and quality standards. Support go-live readiness and deployment activities. Develop user training materials and standard operating procedures and conduct training sessions to ensure end-users can effectively use the new TMS features (Where required) Assist with data migration or cutover tasks as needed for a smooth transition. Provide post-implementation support (hyper-care) after go-live, troubleshooting any issues that arise in the production environment. Monitor system usage, gather user feedback, and work with the team to address any follow-up enhancements or process improvements to optimize the solution. Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to understand complex supply chain processes and identify improvements. Proficient in business process modelling and documentation, with keen attention to detail. Proficient in creating high-quality documentation (business requirements, functional specs, process flow diagrams). common BA tools/techniques (e.g. process mapping, UML, user story creation) and comfortable using collaboration tools. Proven experience with Transport Management Systems implementations is essential.
