Financial Planning Analyst

Forecasting \& Budgeting Specialist \| Finance Location: Cape Town, CBD \| Hybrid Salary: R40 000 \- R50 000 per month Are you naturally curious, analytically minded, and passionate about uncovering the drivers behind business performance? We're looking for a **Forecasting \& Budgeting Specialist** to join a growing, fast\-paced financial services environment. What You'll Be Doing 🔹 Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections 🔹 Analyse financial and operational performance to identify trends, opportunities, and profitability drivers 🔹 Build and maintain financial models to support scenario planning and strategic initiatives 🔹 Partner with leadership teams to provide insights for investment decisions, new projects, and overall business strategy 🔹 Create and maintain dashboards, reporting packs, and visualisations that drive actionable insights 🔹 Collaborate with cross\-functional teams including Finance, Marketing, and Credit to align financial objectives with business goals 🔹 Support monthly management accounts and financial reporting processes What We're Looking For ✔ Bachelor's Degree in Finance or a related field ✔ Minimum 2 years' experience in budgeting, forecasting, FP\&A, or a similar finance role ✔ Advanced Excel skills, including financial modelling, pivot tables, and VBA ✔ Strong analytical and problem\-solving abilities ✔ Ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non\-financial stakeholders ✔ Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines ✔ Experience within lending, fintech, or financial services would be advantageous Why This Opportunity?
