Senior Business Analyst

**Role: Senior Business Analyst** **Type:** Hybrid **Location:** New Jersey **Responsibilities** * Prioritize work to meet milestones and complete deliverables while strictly adhering to business requirements throughout the project lifecycle. * Prepare detailed documentation, presentations, and diagrams. Conduct reviews for scope, business justification, and requirements, including use cases, prototypes, and business rules. * Review test plans and scenarios to ensure product accuracy; participate in functional and system testing and identify system deficiencies. * Document and track the status of client inquiries, enhancement requests, change requests, and defects. * Prepare detailed specifications for developers and evaluate software modifications to enhance operating and development activities. * Oversee work products and manage deadlines. Contribute to staffing decisions and provide supervision/mentorship to junior staff. * Act with integrity and personal responsibility to uphold a respectful and professional team environment. **Qualifications** * 8 years of recent experience in a Business Analyst role. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, UML, flow\-charting software, and change control/defect tracking tools. * Strong understanding of project management methodologies and design tools. * Solid understanding of **SOA** (Service Oriented Architecture), **ASP.NET** , **SQL** , **XML** , and **Design Patterns** . * Skilled in organizing information gathered from meeting notes, technical specifications, and interviews with architects or developers. * Experience researching, planning, and recommending software and systems solutions. * Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in Computer Science or a related discipline.
