Staff Accountant

**Overview** We are a local CPA firm seeking a detail\-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to develop your skills in both tax and accounting. You will work on clients with diverse entity structures in various industries. **Duties** * Prepare tax returns for individuals, partnerships, LLCs, corporations, trusts and nonprofits. * Prepare reviewed and audited financial statements. **Experience** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or pursuing CPA preferred * Proven experience in public accounting a strong plus * Strong understanding of GAAP principles and technical accounting concepts including journal entries and account analysis * Experience with financial software like QuickBooks, Sage or similar systems for bookkeeping and reconciliation tasks * Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast\-paced setting * Excellent numeracy skills combined with strong analytical thinking and problem\-solving abilities We values precision, integrity, and continuous growth.
